We had a "slab leak" under our front foyer... our main drain line had been breached by a root system. The company had to dig out a roughly 2x4 area through the foundation to remove a 4 foot section of line that had been compromised. We had obtained a video inspection from another company after the first sign of backup in the line. Once we understood the extent of the situation, we shopped around to find someone to do the extraction. AlphaPlumbing gave us an initial estimate based on the video documentation that we had obtained from the other company, and went on to do a detailed video inspection of their own. The inspection technician took their time to carefully map out the drain system and worked through a worst case scenario estimate. We agreed over the pricing and provided a reasonable deposit to begin the work. We were able to pay online and received a receipt right away with all of the details of work agreed upon in the proposal. On the day of the work was done, we received a call in advance from the technician, they arrived in the time window that was originally scheduled and went right to work. The whole job was done in about 5 hours. The technicians cleaned up all of the mess and swept the patio. When we payed the final amount, we were charged for the low end of the estimate since they managed to avoid the worst case scenario. Fantastic work from this company! read more

My old copper pipes in the basement had quite a few pinholes that suddenly started spraying a lot of water and I needed a plumber fast! Alpha sent Brian over the very next day. He replaced them with pex piping. I also needed my sewer line cleaned out, Hose bibs fixed for leaking as well as a few other minor plumbing issues. He was here for about 5 hours. He gave me advice on my hot water heater as well as tweaking 2 shower handles that were loose, and answered a few other plumbing questions I had . He is such a pleasant and personable fellow and quite experienced and efficient! Alpha Plumbing saved us last week. Our water heater went, and needed to be replaced (over 18 years old). Quote came in lower than I expected which was a huge relief. The guys that came out to replace the unit were great, they took the old unit away, cleaned the area before installing the new unit, and then took the time to show me how to work the new unit. They called back later that evening to see if I was able to get the temp set to where I wanted it. I had a significant drainage problem from my sump pump. It turned part of the front yard into a swampy area. I've been using Alpha for several years, now. They just completed a minor job (replace sprayer on kitchen sink, replace toilet "innards," clean out bathroom sink pipes). They did an excellent job. About a month ago, they replaced a segment of my sewer line that was broken, under my slab flooring. The always do a great job. They are always polite. This was my first time using Alpha, i had a great experience. Josh gave a call when he was on the way and showed up right on time. He snaked our drain line and replaced the clean out cap on our old cast iron drains. He stuck around and tried a few different caps to make sure he had a proper seal.
