Tonight, my husband and I made our way back to Mikado Sushi -- our forever favorite sushi spot -- and, as always, it did not disappoint. We were lucky to have Isabella (or Bella, as I like to call her!), who is hands down one of the funniest, most attentive servers around. She has this perfect way of making sure you're not just enjoying your meal, but that every detail -- from drinks to timing -- is completely on point. The food? Exceptional, as usual. One thing we love about Mikado is that the chef often surprises us with a little something special, and it always feels like a treat crafted just for us. Tonight, we ordered the Lion King roll and the Out of Control roll -- and WOW. Both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor, the kind of rolls that make you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good they are. If you're craving fresh, creative sushi with top-notch service, Mikado Sushi is the place. Always consistent, always welcoming, and always worth the visit.

Food was delicious, service was good, and the place is well decorated. I enjoyed the NY Steak Lunch Special Kitchen upgraded to a bento box for an additional fee as well as the Godzilla Roll. The steak was well cooked and delicious, and the roll was delicious. Their fried cheesecake was delicious! Definitely a place to visit and enjoy a meal.

Anne was our server. She was excellent. We started with the onion soup which was delicious especially on a cold day then we went to the spring rolls which are delicious then after that I had the veggie fried rice with chicken, which was really good and my friend had a bento box which also looked amazing with assortment of different different items. We look really love the food and service here and will be back again to try more food. The ambience was nice as well. The sushi bar was really neat.

It has been about 12 years since we ate here - and I am kicking myself! It has been in our backyard this whole time, and I am so happy we have rediscovered it!! When our favorite sushi restaurant closed, we were a bit lost. We decided tonight to try Mikado again. We started with tempura (I didn't get a picture) and it was out of this world..! Our selection of sushi was great - and there was not one roll we disliked. Everything was delicious and fresh - and we'll be back, for sure!!

This is one of the best sushi spots in Orlando... especially without it costing you $300 per person-- and I am a highly experienced connoisseur of sushi. I've brought just about every friend, colleague and client possible to Mikado. When they come back in town, they usually choose to come here again. I find their menu has plenty of options for every pallet and their sushi offerings are very high-quality (I absolutely love the Otoro and Hamachi). The service is wonderful, though they can't get busy. I would recommend reservations on busy nights, such as Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Also, if you plan to visit near closing, call ahead to verify the last seating time.

We've been to Mikado Sushi at least six times since moving here in July, and it's quickly become one of our favorite spots! The sushi is always incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming every single time, making it such a comfortable place to dine. You can really tell they care about their food and their guests -- highly recommend!

You know you're a fan of a place if you go twice during your vacation. My family and I were craving for sushi one night and came to Mikado Sushi. Everyone was sooooo nice! This is definitely the best service I've ever had in my life. The hostess and our waiter were lovely. We ordered a variety of rolls and they were all delicious. I thought it was fairly pricey until I realized you get 8 pieces per roll. The decor is really cute and I would rather if I am ever in this area again.

Super good food! I came here on a Sunday night and there was no wait. I ordered the Bento Box with Hibachi Chicken and Philly Roll and it was delicious. The portion size was pretty big but the price matched the size. Staff were super friend and nice as well. Overall, good food and service! Would definitely go back!

Amazing! I absolutely love them. I moved here in 2014 and I keep coming back!!! I miss the octopus salad but adding Waygu is a keeper. Server was great!!!

Excellent food! I got the poke bowl and it was a lot of food! I couldn't finish it but the fish was super flavorful and fresh! Hot sake and garlic edamame were great! Also the best miso soup was the best I've had! Service was on point and quick!! Place was super cute!

I want to first give a shout out to Typhonese our waiter who was very very pleasant and took care of us despite our little mishap with the food. He was extremely tentative and we never had to wait for his service. I arrived around 5pm on a Wednesday and was sat immediately by the windows. I had a chance to look over the window and the waiter took my drink order. I told him I had a friend coming and she would probably want water so as soon as she arrived Typhonese had the water right out to her. I ended up ordering the Philadelphia roll and the Key west roll. My friend ordered the dragon roll. The presentation of these rolls was amazing. The rolls were so pretty just look at the pictures! Unfortunately when my friend was nearing the end of her meal, she spotted an eyelash on her plate. it happens, I get it . But still gross. Our waiter took it away, offered to bring us another roll and took it off our bill. We opted for the rainbow roll which was not as good but still tasty and fresh. I would be willing to come again to get different rolls. They're prices for the rolls were a bit pricey and I wish they had a happy hour, but even with the dish having to be taken away, I would still try it again . It's hard to find fresh sushi and I feel like this place was very good and did have fresh rolls.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I ordered their mango shrimp tempura signature roll and it was outstandingly tasty and delightful! My boyfriend and I decided to order their hibachi platter, we chose shrimp, top sirloin steak and calamari....it was soooo delicious! This platter came with rice, noodles and vegetables...such a great deal! The salad I felt like they could have done better. I would have liked the more fresh ginger dressing not the creamy kind. Miso soup was on point. My boyfriend felt like his soup lacked flavor but it wasn't completely bad. Their moscato was really good too and refreshing, not expensive at all. Ambiance was cozy and the service was quick!

Came here for Valentine's Day dinner. There was a wait, as expected. We only waited maybe 40 minutes for 2 at 8pm. We ordered the Krab Rangoons to start. Very good. We also ordered a Volcano Roll, the Philadelphia Roll, and the Tiger Roll. All 3 were amazing! Would definitely come back and recommend!

To start, they have a great Happy Hour 3-6 pm with a limited menu, but Sapporo drafts and local brews are under $5 each. That is a win right there. They also have beer and Sake flights. My Go to here is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, but I have had the others and never a bad experience. There is something really welcoming about Jinya. I suspect they treat there staff well and hire the right people. Everytime I am here I feel like they are over staffed, but there are plenty of tables inside and out in this intimate venue. My two favorite happy hour dishes are the Salmon Pke Tacos and the Crispy Chicken. I used to live on Lake Eola Park and I so miss coming here. Glad I stumbled in here today.

The tofu was very soft and not my favorite in terms of flavor, but everything else in the Spicy Creamy V Ramen was delicious. I also tried the Impossible meat bao, but the texture of the meat was a bit too firm or overcooked for my liking, especially paired with the soft bao bun. That said, I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu, as there are so many options to choose from. Our server, Carl, was very friendly and attentive. I visited on a Friday evening, and the ambiance was relaxed yet lively, with plenty of groups enjoying dinner or drinks at the bar.

Their wings are so crispy, I think they're some of the best wings I've had. I also highly recommend their Tokyo Ramen. The chicken thighs in the ramen are crispy and have great flavor. Most people in there are waiting for a table inside the main restaurant. Once we got called back, we sat at another bar area where you can see the kitchen. Very interesting layout. We started with the famous domu wings and I seriously will be thinking about the wings until I go back. So much flavor in those things. I love that the noodles are made in house so I wanted to try the ramen of course. I got the Richie Rich ramen which was tasteful but I wish you could choose to add some spice in it. Still great though. My sister got the tonkotsu with black garlic and she almost ate the entire thing. Also got some shishito peppers and that was also just as good as everything else. I kept seeing the lychee martini being ordered to I got that and it was as good as everyone mentioned. It does have popping boba at the bottom which I loved but I know not everyone likes it so just an fyi. My sister got the Roddy pom. The place is pretty small and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. We got there 25 minutes after opening and waited 40 minutes. The parking gets filled fast along with overflow parking being full so be prepared to find a spot.

Of the zensai (appetizers), I've tried the Tatsuta-Age, which was pretty tasty. Hot and crispy with good flavor. The udon is also top notch. They make it in house. Perfect chewy texture, what Taiwanese would call "QQ" I realized after my second visit that I still have not tried an udon with hot broth. I've tried the Spicy Miso Tan-Tan Udon, which was quite tasty, although a little on the richer/heavier side. I have also tried the Mentaiko Tsukimi Udon which was refreshing in the cold broth. I paired it with an add-on of sliced beef, which was delicious, they serve it on the side so you can add to whatever dish on your own. What I wouldn't recommend... The Viet Coffee with sesame foam and crushed sesame seeds was hard to drink. I loved the initial flavors but the foam got a little greasy and clumpy when mixed with the crushed sesame seeds, particularly toward the second half of the coffee. I wouldn't order it again. I would be interested to see any updates they've made recently but with so many new restaurants on Mills, I may choose those first.
