So when I take a chance on a new place I always have this ready feeling and try and not over expect anything . I took them my 2006 for a trans rebuild thinking it was done and needed to be re done ..they call me up and say it's not your trans just a shifter cable and the trans is confused on pressures. I asked them please fix it and do what ever it takes . When I went to go pick it up it was such a minor fix for them they wouldn't even take my money . They could have easily got me for thousands but they didn't . Very rare when a shop or people offering a service will surprise me so I would definitely recommend this place .

These guys really helped me out! My car was diagnosed at a different shop needing a transmission…read morereplacement. The car was jerk-stopping while driving with no check engine light. Since the car had 95K miles I did not want to put a used transmission in it since the car had low miles. For me it would either be a rebuild or a remanufactured trans. The remanufactured trans were not available so it narrowed it down to a rebuild option that the original diagnosing shop would not be able to do. I called Rich at Riverside Transmission Center and made an appointment to have the car checked out. I had it towed in at lunchtime on Friday and he would check it out the same day. He called at the end of Friday to let me know that they needed another hour on Monday morning to be sure. It was no problem for me. Rich called on that Monday and told me that he hooked up a computer to the OBDII port and noticed that the speed reading on the computer was different than the speedometer. He then gave me good news that the issue was likely a speed sensor and I might not have to change the transmission after all. I gave him the OK to change the speed sensor and worked fine after that. Thanks Rich for saving me a transmission replacement! Five stars!

I did call around before hand but was reminded by my wife of the shop and just from what I remember they been at this location for at least 20 years and that tells me a lot about them as a company. To be able to survive the 2020 year and still go strong. the knowledge to help you with what ever goals you have and get you there. I my self had to pick their brain a bit since I came with my 2000 Silverado with the 4Lslippy (4l60) transmission I wasn't to sure what to do for a trans that would get abused Offroad and they helped. The truck it self is a driving project but at least the tans is good to go. If you want good knowledge, service and someone to help steer you in the right direction this is the place for you.
