Sebago Lake on one of our rented boats (free for wedding parties)

Spent the weekend here for a wedding and I must say, it was by far the best experience I've had at an outdoor wedding! Firstly, all boats, kayaks, canoes, etc were available for our use as we pleased. There was a boat tour at an extra charge, but worth it! Secondly, The staff ensured everyone was content at all times. They were courteous, happy, helpful! Thirdly, the cabins were clean, spacious, GORGEOUS! And comfy of course. Lastly, the reception was amazing! The same staff worked the bar and they were great! I honestly can't begin to explain how peaceful, beautiful, harmonizing this place was. I wish I could relive this weekend now that it's December and 20 degrees out! CANT WAIT TO GO BACK SOMEDAY! This is all based on my experience as a guest of a wedding. But I'd assume their regular summer camping is just as awesome!

If you're looking for an authentic Maine camp experience from yesterday then Migis Lodge is your place. Cabins are beautifully appointed with stone fireplaces and front porches facing the lake. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful and the food is great and varied. A total lake experience w kayaks, rowboats, etc. love the peace and pine.

I would rate Migis Lodge 10/10 stars if possible. Growing up my husband spent his summers at Migis and has always talked highly of this quintessential Maine spot. This year I called looking for a quick getaway and was lucky enough to reserve a cabin. I have called during previous summers and haven't been as lucky. I'm guessing my ability to book quickly this year was in part due to COVID. Nonetheless, Peggy (a wonderful employee of Migis who manages reservations) helped decide what cabin would be best. She even looked up my husband's family and their booking history to let me know where they had stayed before. I've seen comments about the cost and I was hesitant as well. That being said, after going and experiencing Migis Lodge I will never question the cost again. The cost is completely justified with what is included within your stay. COVID has impacted so many local business and has really been devastating to Maine's tourism. Migis has taken safety measures seriously. Young children seen scattered around the property all wearing masks without hesitation. Staff all compliant and washing hands often. Migis also left complimentary Migis themed masks and hand sanitizer. Never once did I feel uncomfortable. Our cabin was spotless when we arrived. Fresh flowers, clean white sheets, a stocked fire, and a bottle of champagne for my birthday. I've never seen a more well maintained property. Everything has its place and is in order. The property looks like a story book. Dinner was outside and the food was incredible. The food in itself is worth the stay. 5 stars. I would recommend bringing a tumbler or water bottle. There is a water station in the main lodge. If you don't have your own cup you can borrow a plastic cup or purchase a water bottle. I wish they had a few more water stations throughout the property. The ice was great to have around because we brought a small cooler with snacks. Unlimited ice upon request at the main lodge. The staff are all awesome. Young, hardworking, and friendly kids. They are observant and notice when you need something. I'm already planning my next trip.

This place is great! My brother got married here and the whole weekend was outstanding. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is magnificent, and the setting is gorgeous! Fresh ice and firewood brought to your cabin daily -- what's not to love?

The breakfast shows their appreciation in spades. Hot, strong coffee, fresh fruit, danish, cheeses and more, all you need to kick off your day. The room was spotless. It's clean, comfortable and more than you would expect for the great value. I know, we've stayed in hotels at twice the price that were questionable. The people running it are very nice and friendly, and the breakfast is very good and allows you to choose from different sort of (sweet) things. Also, it's quite well located, near the state park and Sebago lake, and Naples town which is ok. There are just a couple of problems. First, being so close to the main road, it's a little noisy. But the main problem is cleanness. The bed sheets and the bathroom and towels were ok, but there were spiderwebs all over the place. And therefore, there were a lot of spiders. Are they sacred here like cows in India or something? I understand we're in the countryside and you're supposed to find a bug or two (or not) but the room was full of all kind of spiders, big and small. If the maid would've cleaned thoroughly that morning, you'd seen one or two maybe but not so many. Also, the doors and walls were full of fingerprints from previous guests. And there was a t-shirt between the dresser and the wall, so she does never look around when she cleans? The joke of it all is that we had been given an envelope to tip the maid!

The owners Leila and Anthony are truly the kindest and most hospitable people I have ever met. From the second we walked into the Inn it truly felt like we were right at home. The Inn itself is beautiful, quaint, charming and very clean. Our room was super cozy and the bed was SO comfortable (I will definitely miss it). The water pressure in the shower was great, which is hard to come by sometimes. The grounds are manicured and so comfortable. I spent hours on the hammock and in the rocking chairs reading and relaxing. What really blew me away was the breakfast and the treats. Anthony preps all the food and is a breakfast and pastries GENIUS. First night we were there they had snickerdoodle whoopee pies with a maple cream cheese filling (individually wrapped to be extra safe and clean) and I may or may not have taken a couple more with me to enjoy later in the evening... The location of the Inn is PERFECT. You are walking distance to Long Lake and a few little shops and minutes away from Lake Sebago. I truly cannot recommend this Inn enough, and I cannot wait to get back here! Thank you Leila and Anthony!

We went back down to the desk to discuss the mistake, and which time they informed us they cut their contract with hotels.com because they kept booking people in rooms not matching accommodations, and they don't even have any rooms with 2 beds (or none available, unclear.). In order for us to stay, we had to book another room that was not ready sight unseen. We were told we would need to speak to hotels.com for a refund. We attempted to get a partial refund from hotels.com and were informed that the hotel said we accepted alternative accommodations. Inn staff also reported they gave us the second room for free, which is also untrue. They refuse to make it right. The rooms were small, the hallway smelled of vomit when we went back to our rooms that night, and the second rooms ac did not work properly. Beware and avoid staying here if you are a group or family unless you'd like to squeeze into tiny rooms and get 0 customer service for a mistake on the Inns end. The worst hospitality experience I've ever had, coming from someone who has worked in and frequented MUCH nicer accommodations. Edit to add: check their reviews outside of google. That is the only place people rave about them, which is super fishy. Update to Anthony: Every part of your response was untrue. That's a shame you feel the need to continue to lie. There were no multiple visitors to our room, we didn't tell you to charge the card you told us you would because you wouldn't fix the error as it was a hotels.com issue, you never mentioned the cooling issue, etc etc etc. if you had been willing to comp the second room (we shouldn't need to tell you we needed two beds, that's what we booked for.) and had not continually lied to hotels.com, this review wouldn't be here.

Very convoluted to figure out the who done it. The food was better than expected. The huge issue was the staff telling us they would have activities around murder mystery. The place we stayed was ok and didn't have very many amenities, the heat in the living room wasn't working...made for a chilly weekend. The staff needs to prepare the guests for a weekend expectation. We didn't need a golf cart but no one mentioned that when we booked the trip. We wasted over $1K for this weekend.
