The room was very large and spacious and had a beautiful water view. The inn is on a large pond where you can swim or go out on a canoe or paddle boat (for free!). They even supply life jackets. They have a fire pit and charcoal grills with picnic tables on the beach which you can use at any time. I wouldn't walk to the down town, but it's a quick 5 minute drive. The inn offers coffee/tea all day, and has a small breakfast offering that we did not partake in. There is a small pool that our toddler loved as well! We can't wait to go back next summer.

Considering how long this building has been standing, I'm amazed with how well everything looked overall! They helped with our bags the moment we walked in, showed us right to our room, made sure we had everything we were looking for and were still so chipper when I went down stairs to ask some additional stuff! The mini breakfast smoothie I had with granola on top the first morning I was there...... SO DELICIOUS, especially with the coffee they had available. The morning after they had the perfect portion of pancakes that were delicious, along with a cucumber and grape salad with a yogurt poppyseed dressing! As someone that doesn't often go outside of my normal food comfort zones, it was SO worth the try and I didn't even need to leave my hotel! Please explain how this 8+ bedroom older than god residence finds itself listed as a hotel on sites such as Expedia and Hotels.com. I'm discovering this more and more alarming as you travel through New England. Little startup investors bill themselves as hotels when all they seem to be are old homes with a bunch of beds and $$ signs in someone's eyes. The Pomegranate Inn is the latest in the line of promised romance and failed expectation. My recommendation? Check in at the local Holiday Inn instead.

The rooms were very dirty and had a lot of bugs. There were wasps outside on the balcony and had a nest in the rotting wood above the door and my son is severely allergic so we could not use them at all. The walls were paper thin, and we could hear literally every conversation being had next to us and any movement whatsoever. The fixtures were falling off of the wall in the bathroom, and the linoleum floor was disgusting and pulling up at all of the sides, creating mold. We paid almost $1200 for two nights which is an exorbitant amount for such an awful experience. I had been in contact with "Jersey" regarding this matter and not only did he lie to me multiple times about having this situation addressed, but he also literally hung up on me during our most recent conversation. This "hotel" is horrifically managed, and they do not care about their guests at all. Would absolutely not recommend staying here under any circumstances.
