Decided to try Mighty Quinn's on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30, and we had a great experience! Ethan greeted us as soon as we walked in and was super polite, friendly, and welcoming. We ordered the Brontosaurus Rib, which is about a pound and a half of beef rib, for two people. Let me tell you... we definitely did NOT finish it in one sitting. We had plenty left over for dinner, so come hungry! The meat was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. My only concern was that the rib came out wrapped in plastic while it was hot. Interestingly, when we had the leftovers wrapped to go, they used butcher paper, which I personally would have preferred from the beginning. Other than that, our overall experience was fantastic. This Restaurant & location was *highly recommended recently. We decided to order take out to eat at home. Female taking the order was friendly& thorough app 6p. There were only a few cars there. Food was unremarkable as we expected more based *on. Friend**raved about bread pudding- (**not to us). Spent $28 to sample. Not overpriced yet would not recommend or return. I noticed after I left this review that the reply for management never included any kind of compensation such as give me a call and we can make your next dining experience better, there were just a lot of excuses like we're working on getting a "better bun" that was 2 years after the restaurant opened in 2022. Other than the occasional weekend I never see a lot of parts in the parking lot. We became ill during the night. I had to cancel a doctor's appointment for today at 1:00 p.m. and we'll probably get charged. That food that we got it's not agreeing with either one of us. I wonder since you're parking lot is rarely more than two or three cars whether you serve take out food that has been sitting there too long. I would like a refund. Ok an odd one. I don't know how I really feel about you guys. From the initial thought I thought it would be a great relationship but just something feels wrong. I didn't have a bad time but I feel like the food has a lot left to be desired. Like things are left on the table. Absolutely loved visiting the Mighty Quinns. Right off Dale Mabry a block or 2 north of Kennedy, its right in the heart of town. The building is nice and airy, and smells like heaven! Good lord... this place is phenomenal. Staff was matter of fact, but overall nice. Everyone seemed to be on their a-game. They were able to answer every question we asked about the food, being our first time there. The space itself is spacious and clean. It was nice to dine in. Good sauces at table. The food... oh my. The food was so good. Brisket was tender and juicy, with great flavor. Pulled pork was delicious! The ribs were very tasty, but a little bit tougher than I'd prefer. But still delicious and thoroughly enjoyable. The spicy wings were SO good. I'll be ordering a batch of those whenever I visit Quinn's. The sides were all hits, basically. On our continuing search for the best bbq in Tampa we stumbled across Mighty Quinn's. This is my review: I ordered a three meat combo player. Sausage, ribs and sliced brisket. My sides were cornbread, mashed sweet potato and Mac and cheese. My buddy ordered the same thing and his review is similar to my own. Everything looked amazing! Everything looked juicy and fresh and it was. The only thing and probably the MOST important was the lack of flavor!! I'll start with my sides. Mac and cheese was good, very cheesy but nothing that makes you say "WOW", the mashed sweet potato was "SWEET", more like a desert than a side. The sausage was bland except for tasting the pepper but again looked amazing. The ribs were good with a little flavor. The brisket was probably the best I've had here locally but again lacked flavor. Brisket was most and again looked fantastic. If you're looking for a place to get a pulled pork or chopped brisket sandwich with good sides then this is your spot. It you're looking for GREAT BBQ this is not the spot but then again Tampa doesn't really have great bbq. The service however is amazing!!! We were greeted well, answered all the questions we had, extremely nice gentleman. The place itself is beautiful and clean! Very beautiful place overall. Needs more flavor AND smoke taste. I am so glad that I found this new BBQ spot in the Tampa area! If you like upscale BBQ such as Fox Bros in Atlanta or 4Rivers in Orlando, it is almost certain that you will love Mighty Quinn's. I was able to try out the brisket, pulled pork, and sausage and loved all 3 meats. As far as sides, I would pass on the cornbread and opt for the corn fritters as they are a unique item that tastes great with the provided sweet chili dipping sauce. Mac & cheese is also great. Since this location is literally right across the street from Raymond James stadium, it is also very convenient if you are in town for a football game or concert. Just keep in mind that parking is very tight, so it may be wise to come at an off time if possible. read more

I recently stopped by and was really impressed with their meat selections. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the ribs had just the right amount of smokiness--definitely a highlight! The smoked turkey also stood out; it was juicy and delicious. Now, let's talk about sides. While I wasn't blown away by all of them, my mother gave the cole slaw a thumbs-up, so it must be decent! The French fries were solid, too. Dirty rice wasn't enough meat for amount of rice .Also the presentation could be better in bowl . The atmosphere is great, with plenty of seating and parking, and the staff are super friendly. Overall, it's a nice spot for barbecue with reasonable prices. Hubby & I came here for our dinner (mainly to try their Bronto rib! It's HUUUUGE & very meaty & flavorful. The meat fell completely off the bone when I tried to pick it up for a picture. These are THE BEST Beef ribs I have ever had!! We also had the 3-meat combo w/ moist brisket, pulled pork & ribs... side of Brussel sprouts, Vinegar-based Cole slaw, and Mac & cheese. My fave meats were the Bronto ribs & 2nd place were the spare ribs. Brussels sprouts were another fave. Hubby's faves were the same except his fave side was the Mac & cheese. First time eating here. I walked in and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Once they learned some of our party members had sugar issues, they went above and beyond by cooking Brussel sprouts without and sauce or sugar on them. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, turkey, sausage and ribs. All the meats were tasty. The sausage is a tad spicy, the ribs come dry rubbed and you can add the bbq sauce as you desire (which is a nice difference in other rib houses) and the turkey was cooked perfectly. In my quest to try different BBQ restaurants in the area, Saturday I tried Mighty Quinn's. The building has a cool look upon arriving and inside is much the same. You order up front and they put your choices together in front of you. I had a 3 meat combo so I could try the ribs, pulled pork and a spicy chicken (they have regular too!). The ribs were meaty yet tender, the pork was flavorful and the chicken was excellent. The meal comes with choice of creamy or vinegar based coleslaw and cornbread. I went with creamy style. It was good but recommend stirring it up first as I didn't and missed out on the dressing coating all of it. Their cornbread is moist and a nice portion. My wife and I also decided to split a few extra sides to try the mac n cheese and burnt ends baked beans. The mac n cheese was creamy and had wonderful flavor. You could really taste the cheese unlike many other places I have got mac. The burnt end beans was equally flavorful due to the addition of the meat in the recipe. We left very satisfied. Overall they are a little more expensive than other bbq spots as the extra sides can escalate the overall bill, but with being so happy with the food, it was worth it. I was with some barbecue. I want to try out a different spot since I'm trying to find good barbecue in the Tampa Bay area. I decided to go with mighty Quin's barbecue because the good reviews. I would say the food is really good and nothing is dry. The brisket is really good and I highly recommend it along with the baked beans. The baked beans have a sweet flavor to it, but is not overly sweet. And they also have burnt ends on the weekends for those who love burnt ends. I come from Miami whenever I am in town. It appears that there have been changes to the menu since 2025. The brisket appears to have more fat even when requesting the lean cuts. That was never the case a year ago. The server never changed his gloves when handling the meat after opening warming storage cabinets below. The baked beans have an undesirable aftertaste that I couldn't figure out the seasoning used. Perhaps more vinegar? The cornbread was dry and lacked taste. It also seems like the Brussels sprouts recipe seasoning has changed. The ribs were ok, but not their usual best in texture and flavor. I came here for lunch on a Thursday with a friend who had been here a few times already. That same friend did warn me that this place is a bit on the pricey side, however when it comes to BBQ, it's usually worth it. I can always tell from the aroma both outside the restaurant and then immediately as you walk in. Ahhh, the smell of smoked BBQ. Why isn't this aroma on a car freshener (or maybe it is). Service was great - fast and friendly. I ordered the two-meat sampler, with my go-tos of brisket and sausage. I also went with a side of baked beans. I did ask if the sampler meal came with any sides and was told that it came with complimentary pickled vegetables, coleslaw, and corn bread. Once the perfectly weighed meat was placed on my tray, I was then asked by a second staff member whether I actually wanted the "complimentary sides" that it came with. I opted to forgo the pickled vegetables as it's just not my thing. Once I completed the transaction including the guilt-tipping POS register, I took my soda cup and proceeded to grab a coke zero from the machine and then grab a seat. The food was decent. The brisket had a really good smoked flavor and was good quality. The accompanying BBQ sauces, however, were a bit too liquidy for my liking, although the Spicy Chile Lime sauce was nice and thick, and rather interesting as well. The cole slaw and baked beans were also a bit too liquidy as well.. I'm noticing a team here. :( Not sure I'd try this place again. It was good, but I don't think it was $25 good for a lunch. I happened to be in Tampa for a few days and decided to eat BBQ from Might Quinn's BBQ. I had it delivered to my hotel room so I can't speak on service and ambience. What I can speak on is their food. I ordered their three meat sampler with rice and pickled onions, cucumbers, and peppers. The three meats were pulled pork, brisket and pork ribs with bbq sauce on the side. I started with the pulled pork and right off the bat, I loved the flavor. I then tried the pork ribs, and the delicious flavor was also there. The real hero was the brisket. It was full of flavor and very tender. The Mac n Cheese is the spiral noodle which is my fav noodle & so creamy delish, it is the freshest, tastes like it was just made! The Brussel sprouts seasoned well, taste of soy sauce, I loved it! Now, the brisket... very moist, so good with BBQ sauce on it! Next time, I would order a bun & make a sandwich with some of the full pound I got. The ribs were a loverly red colour indicative of it being smoked but it tasted of the black pepper which was used as a seasoning on it. I was not a fan of the sides. I have trouble with going for bbq as I mostly do it myself in my smoker so I am somewhat critical when we go out for bbq. Passed this new place many times and last night decided to give it a try. I ordered 8 oz of the brisket. For me, brisket is the real test for a bbq place. The brisket was awesome! Juicy, tender and a decent bark. Seasoning was spot on without being too salty. We typically do all of the cooking for Thanksgiving. This year, my daughter was hosting the dinner at her house. She decided to cater the meal from Mighty Quinn's . My first thought was that's not what I want to do. I went along with it and was greatly surprised on Thanksgiving day. It was very refreshing not to cook and to be able to enjoy the day. The meal was fantastic. True, we prepare many more dishes , however I was very happy with what they served us. We were given a whole turkey, sweet potato soufflé with the pecan topping, mac & cheese, dressing, and a brussel sprout salad. The dressing was a bit moist, but the flavor was phenomenal. Just stopped in driving by and everything on the menu looked great. Service was good and fast. Ordered lunch special crispy chicken sandwich with brisket beans. They also gave me free coleslaw and I got a cream soda to go with it. $17 pretty good for everything. Mighty Quinn has a fairly good menu and I was able to order on line and pick up the order via drive through and that was excellent for a handicap person like myself. I ordered a combo plate of BBQ and willfully paid extra for Beef Brisket. I chose smoked chicken, BBQ ribs and Brisket. The chicken breast wing combo that I received was actually good and not dried out, the ribs were okay, and the Brisket held it's own too. I ordered Mac n Cheese which was fair because the pasta needed more cooking. The White Cheese sauce was creamy and deserved a more tender pasta. I ordered Corn nuggets and was very disappointed. The corn nuggets turned out to be "hush puppies with a wee bit of corn". We also had cornbread which was the normal jiffy mix taste and texture. I can not speak to the Ambiance as I did not go inside. Service and ambience are spectacular, however, I was thoroughly letdown by the food. Seeing a 4.5 star rating, I came in with extremely high expectations and was met with a half pound of weak brisket, dirty rice that lacked an identity, the sauciest mac & cheese I've ever consumed, and a bread pudding that did not put a cherry on top. Do yourself a favor and make the 5 minute drive to BJ's Alabama barbecue. The difference is night and day unfortunately :/ Again, the staff was wonderful and amazing and the interior of the restaurant is a great vibe. Let start off to say this place deserves 1k+ 5 star reviews. There's even a drive through! Max and cheese was flavorful with spiral noodles so the sauce was in every bite. The pulled pork and brisket were chefs kiss. It was topped off with just a little of flaky salt I noticed and it definitely took the experience to the next level. Workers were nice.
