    Xia Sandwich (shrimp patty)
    Kaitlyn S.

Delicious! We didn't realize there was a pop-up at this location and had never had Taiwanese breakfast so did not know what to expect. It ended up being such a lovely surprise. I had the rice ball which was super good. I recommend using the chili garlic sauce with it. I love sticky rice and with the egg and other flavors it was brilliant in a breakfast dish. My bf has the xia sandwich which was very very flavorful. I've never seen him eat something so fast. I also got a side of pork sausage that I will skip next time. Wasn't bad, just was too fatty for me because I'm used to turkey sausage. I think it was their first time at this location and they were working a couple of things out (short on napkins, plates a little small for the food) but the food more than made up for any small hiccups. Overall great experience and will go back in the future because several other items we did not get looked great as well.

So the streets are narrow and they are "one way" streets so parking is limited. When we arrived there is seating outside and inside. We couldn't sit on a Sunday at 6pm as they were extremely busy. Reservation is highly recommended. So we asked to order to go instead. The staff were sooo beautiful and helpful. Erin, helped us choose a couple of their staples. But they were out of the fried chicken. We Sat outside as a table became available, but to be honest we couldn't enjoy the food and asked for to go boxes immediately as we got attacked by flies and we were fighting for our lives to eat our food. I'm not exaggerating! IDK how others sat outside and ate with the heavy traffic of flies. LOL! The flies were on our table before our food even came out. Now for the food: we order the shumai dumplings as an appetizer, and they were delish. We also had the Mongolian beef fried rice it was phenomenal, and the sausage general tsao's pizza... and wow! The pizza really was outstanding. We will def be back but with reservations and sitting inside only. Hope all this info helps.

Been wanting to try this place for years finally got a chance to go tonight with my son because…read morewe're both foodies, we're both chefs and we wanted to see what they brought to the table. They brought their A game for sure!! what a great experience. This is a casual very open place with a plethora of chefs, each creating a specific dish that they will bring to you and you choose whether you want to eat it or not. The menu is written to where you just check off what you got and you go down the menu and each chef will bring out the dish they created, describe it in detail and then you choose whether you want to eat it or not. Unfortunately, my son and I could not refuse anything, but we did turn down one which I can't remember what it was but this place is fabulous! Yes, these are two bite samples, the taste, and the creativity is exquisite!! These chefs brought things to my pallet that I cannot reverse engineer, and I saved every morsel they brought to the table. Literally ordering nearly everything on the menu, from custom drinks, made tableside to each entrée appetizer or dessert, sample dish, each one presented by the chef who created it this is what foodies live for. If you're going there to get filled up on hamburgers and chicken fingers, please don't go.!!! It's not for you. Especially if you spend four to $500.!! From the hostess Gabby, who was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable to begin the plethora of chefs each behind every dish that they passionately created and tried to sell it to you at the table, so you will check it off on the menu, I love the passion within the chefs minds and the creativity they came up with the dish We were actually too full when we left so those who say they had to go to McDonald's or something after they left because they didn't get enough and they don't understand these savory morsels that are coming out of the tiny kitchen, they only ordered three things because they didn't want to spend the money. This place is for those who enjoy excellent flavors creativity gastronomy, lemon foam to sauces that are unbelievably savory and delectable. I will post all my pictures if I can remember the names of all the dishes, but the menu changes weekly so it's not like you come one week and go back the next week for the same thing. This is an experience, an adventure, a step in time for a culinary experience, unlike others. It's not a fancy place so you can dress casual they don't care, The crafted cocktails were absolutely delicious, I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this experience. Yes it's expensive. But it is definitely worth it. Highly recommend.!!!!

I feel it would be very difficult for this place to get a star bc don't think the food can be consistent with how it's set up. 1 Star off for that Service was ok Ambiance was casual... I was sitting next to the kitchen watching the chefs work (who were also dressed quite casual). Had water dripping on me from the AC intermittently which def was irritating. Overall was an interesting experience because you get to say no to dishes but imo can get better food and more creative dishes at other places. I think we paid $150pp-ish for everything on the menu. I likely won't return

We ordered the Rotating Wok Veg, NY Hot Dog, Chopped Cheese, and the Chicken Shawarma to eat. There was also a Spirited Sistas cocktail pop-up going on there as well that night so we ordered The Cookout and Spice Gwols to drink. The Rotating Wok Veg was bok choy with garlic, onions, and spices and it was sooo good! The NY Hot Dog was plump, juicy, and all beef just the way it like it! It was my first time having a Chopped Cheese and that was also one of my favorite dishes for the night (I would get all three of these dishes again). The Chicken Shawarma was a bit disappointing to me as overall it lacked the flavors you would expect from this common Mediterranean dish and the rice was a bit overcooked. The Spice Gwols drink was my favorite cocktail of the night and was a wonderful combination of Reposado Mezcal and spices. All in all, it was a positive experience with good food, drinks, and vibes!

Located in the Global Grub Collective, (We Suki Suki for the EAV locals) this new little gem has sammiches so good, you'd literally duel your own damn family over one. The Mongolian Dip, with its massive mound-o-meat w/ sweet and spicy marinade, melty cheese and savory jus (for dipping, yo) will just make your day better - and that's a promise. Now let's discuss their Cuban and Cubans in general. For the past 10 years it's been my job to work with restaurants. I've had all the Cubans the A can sling at me, and I'd put their Cuban up against my favorites any day. The overnight marinated Boston butt with ham and provolone cheese is offset perfectly with their bright and spicy homemade Chinese mustard, and house made pickles. Are you picking up what I'm putting down, yet? Because there's no Sysco up in there, baby! Lastly, if you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free, they have you smothered and covered in every way possible. Even as a proud carnivore, I'd eat that Mushroom Melt at least once a week. The mushrooms are a garlicky, umami bomb that's topped with tons of cheese and pressed in the same TGM bread. Other must haves are the tacos and Mexican Pizza. Yeah, like THAT Mexican pizza. You know the one. The one you use to skip lunch period to go have... it's like that, just better, more sophisticated, and all grown-up - just like you! Lastly...Mexican Coke slushies and homemade pop tarts. I don't think much more needs to be said. Happy eating!
