Also saved me some money on a fall tune-up. After he completed everything, he walked through to make sure everything was back in place and that what was to be on was on and what was to be off was off. Everyone was professional and respectful from the call to set up the appointment to the completion.

My wife has asthma and other breathing issues as well as an aneurism. This unit was supposed to help alleviate her breathing issues on very hot and/or cold days. This has been nothing short of a fiasco. Minutes after the technician left, it began leaking water all over the floor. The tech 'forgot' to check the drain hose and had to come back out to repair it within hours. Only days later, we had to call them back out because it ceased to cool during one of the hottest days of the year. After sending multiple technicians, it was determined that all the coolant had leaked out because of an improper flange installation on the outside unit. The next issue was a faulty flange on the inside unit which, again, leaked coolant. After that repair, it still has failed to work, this time when we tried to heat the room during the recent cold spells. Same story, no coolant, only this time supposedly a manufacturing defect. After six months of this, I'm still waiting for some kind of resolution. After weeks of inquiries as to the status of the repairs/replacement, I can't get them to return my phone calls despite repeated promises to do so.

I was concerned about mold. The last technician who came out was one that was covering my house frequently and I have never had a problem with him he always says a beautiful job and he was able to clean up what the other four guys had not they're very expensive and the call center isn't always the greatest with customer service. They're OK for what they are but when you get a good technician, they're great when you get a bad technician it sucks.

Where we differed was I sent out a rug for cleaning. It did come back very clean. However it did come back different. It had a ripple in the middle and some areas on the border were faded. I did talk with customer service and they were great. We did talk about the one side of the rug that was most faded on that side (border area) and it could have been on the high traffic side. Which makes sense. Nevertheless they were very kind the local Beavercreek manager called me to offer a resolution, a small refund, which I appreciated. However I have not received confirmation of we agreed on in email. And it hasn't shown up in my bank account. I have reached out to customer service and am awaiting a reply. I do recommend them. As mentioned above, they did a extremely good job in my home cleaning tile and hard wood floors.

Worst case scenario this company openly takes advantage of customers. We had a toilet leaking in our basement, plumber friend recommended Peak Environmental to deal with the mold from this leak. P.E. came out to check it out, my wife dealt with them, they assessed the mold, and wanted to test it for $400, they also quoted her $2500 to remove the moldy drywall, remove the sink, treat the studs, remove all debris, set up air purification for the duration of the job and clean out the air ducts. She went ahead and had them test it and agreed to the price. Not sure why the testing was necessary when everything was being gutted. Also, this estimate was all verbal nothing written, felt she could trust them given that our plumber recommended. They called to tell her the test results, we never received any sort of documentation. Set up a time to come out to start the process. The project was delayed due to emergencies from cold temperatures which is understandable. First visit, removed and bagged all the drywall, removed the sink. They left the bags and the sink in the basement, said the studs were too wet to treat and would be back. Second visit kept getting pushed back due to emergencies, again understandable. They scheduled for Thursday 2/1, at this point Robert told my wife that they would have the ducts cleaned Friday, she told him no one had contacted her to set the time up. He said he would get a hold of them to call her. After a little bit he text her that he was mistaken when he said the ductwork was included in the estimate and that its typically around $650, but he told them they had to do it for around $500 to save us $150 for the inconvenience. She ended up telling him that we would not be proceeding with that part of this job. They came out Thursday to finish up and haul everything away, my wife wrote them a check for the balance of $1250, she had paid the first half upfront. I was not aware that the reason we weren't doing the ductwork was that it was magically no longer within the estimate, I thought it was just scheduling issues, so was surprised when we still owed the entire remaining half. I went home to inspect their work, and then contacted the owner Joshua at the email address on their site. I requested he provide a written estimate or a receipt broken out into line items. Later that evening I received a receipt with just the work listed out in a paragraph stating what they did and then the check totals and to let him know if I needed anything else. I responded that I needed line items broken out, stating that there was miscommunication as to what the estimate entailed and we were never provided a written estimate. I received the full estimate, and the explanation that since it was a self pay project instead of insurance they did a verbal estimate. He also wrote "I apologize if there was some miscommunication regarding the duct cleaning being in that original estimate, and we offered to take $150 off the duct cleaning cost to make that right for you all." I found the offer to take $150 off something we were told more than once was in the original estimate to be utterly insulting, and can't fathom how that can be considered making it right. Looking into the estimate I discovered that 75% of the cost was due to the air purification scrubbers they set up for the duration of the project. I was confused by this and how they were listed on there, so I sent him another email outlining all of the miscommunication and asking for clarity on these. He explained that 2 units were on there for 5 days each at $130 a day. Then there are two HEPA filters that he charged me for that the air scrubbers use at $213.89 each. With tax those two items totaled up to $1873.23. I also told him that without the ductwork I never would have agreed to the price of $2500 for the job, I still think with the ductwork that is high for the scope of work. He gave me his phone number with that clarification to discuss. I thanked him for clarifying and informed him that I don't think there is anymore point in discussing this as it will not be resolved to my satisfaction. He replied asking what a peaceful resolution would be to this issue, and stated that they do strive to make all our customers happy with the work they perform. After I did not reply he offered that they would be happy to have the ducts cleaned in the original cost. I have not responded to this either as I would never let them in my home again. Meanwhile Bobbi started texting my wife that he guesses her husband was talking to Josh and there's confusion about the duck[sic] cleaning and they want to cover it now. She told him no that would look elsewhere for that. I feel taken advantage of by P.E. due to non-transparent estimating and not honoring said estimates.
