I promptly arranged for repairs, as I occasionally use the furnace on cooler nights, even when daytime temperatures don't require it. Unfortunately, the first appointment was canceled at the last minute, and the second appointment couldn't be completed because the new heat exchanger arrived damaged, necessitating a reorder. Additionally, I was overcharged for cleaning the blower, which wasn't performed due to the heat exchanger issue. I'm still awaiting a refund and am uncertain about when the furnace repairs will be finished. This situation could have been managed more effectively, and I hope everything gets resolved soon. This has been nothing short of a fiasco. Minutes after the technician left, it began leaking water all over the floor. The tech 'forgot' to check the drain hose and had to come back out to repair it within hours. Only days later, we had to call them back out because it ceased to cool during one of the hottest days of the year. After sending multiple technicians, it was determined that all the coolant had leaked out because of an improper flange installation on the outside unit. The next issue was a faulty flange on the inside unit which, again, leaked coolant. After that repair, it still has failed to work, this time when we tried to heat the room during the recent cold spells. Same story, no coolant, only this time supposedly a manufacturing defect. After six months of this, I'm still waiting for some kind of resolution. After weeks of inquiries as to the status of the repairs/replacement, I can't get them to return my phone calls despite repeated promises to do so.

The last technician who came out was one that was covering my house frequently and I have never had a problem with him he always says a beautiful job and he was able to clean up what the other four guys had not they're very expensive and the call center isn't always the greatest with customer service. They're OK for what they are but when you get a good technician, they're great when you get a bad technician it sucks.

I feared the worst, but Vacuum Concepts did a great job of repairing and tuning it up and it's been great ever since. Glad we found them. The new location (just a few storefronts down) is spacious, clean and well stocked. They had some nice U.S.A.-made lambswool dusters and I bought one for cleaning ceiling corners and blinds. I was unhappy that they added a surcharge for using a payment card to purchase this merchandise. I do not recall if that was the case back when we had the repair done, but it is now so be prepared.
