My first impression is that the place is very clean and neat which is very important. Since I have scheduled everything with David before I got there, I did not have to wait and just directly enjoyed my massage. I got a 90 minutes massage and really enjoy every minute of it. David really knew what he was doing. It felt great.People always saying that you get what you pay for, but at this place, you get more than you pay for. It only cost me 100 bucks with a 90 minutes massage. I'll definitely come to this place regularly.

From the moment the session begins, it's clear she is both knowledgeable and intentional in her technique--balancing therapeutic depth with relaxation. She listens carefully, checks in appropriately, and consistently targets problem areas with precision and care. I always leave feeling noticeably better, both physically and mentally. If you're looking for someone who is professional, intuitive, and genuinely excellent at what she does, I can't recommend Kate highly enough.

I really enjoyed my massage. Kate is definitely a very talented massage therapist and her work on…read moremy shoulders and back was especially amazing. She also responded to my emails very quickly and was able to book an appointment for me much sooner than I had expected. Her office is in some sort of office suite in an apartment complex which made it rather difficult to locate from the street. Also, you have to be buzzed in to enter the suite. It appears that the professionals in the suite do not employ a receptionist (there is no front desk) and that they just buzz in clients in between their appointments. I thought this was rather inconvenient because I arrived about 20 minutes early and had to wait outside in the rain because no one responded to my buzz (I assume Kate was with another client). I would definitely give Kate five stars on the massage, but I am not sure I'd return because of the office set up. I'd prefer to go to a spa or someplace with a reception area where I can relax a bit before the massage.

Negative-The massage overall felt harsh and hurried and the room was chilly. She was not consistent and I could not fully relax. The scalp massage was hard and overdone. I had a headache after which I know is common with massages but the pressure was excessive. I had to tell her to lighten up a couple times. The directions were not clear with what to do during transitions. Positive- warmed eyemask during scalp massage, asked several times if we were okay, and water was warm and comfortable. A couple improvements- slow down during massaging, use a diffuser or scent in the room, warming blanket or bed, try different techniques with scalp and not so hard on the scalp, learn how to give a classic blow out after scalp massage.

However, once I stepped inside the gorgeous studio space I felt reassured that I had made the right decision in coming to see here. The decor is Thai themed with rich red and orange, with copious quantities of natural light from the four windows. Mary was warm and welcoming, getting me some water flavored with a hint of fresh ginger and lime juice as I filled out my intake form. After that, we sat and talked for awhile about how I was feeling, my history with bodywork, etc. I feel like she got a really thorough understanding of where I was at and how to best address my needs. As for the massage, I had never had a Thai massage before, so I didn't know what to expect but I think Mary made a convert out of me! It was totally different than anything I've had before. It started with me laying on my back, on a shiatsu mat on the floor, then Mary proceeded to not only massage me but also place me in a variety of stretches that were both challenging and deeply relaxing. By the end I was in a dream-like state, feeling calm and restored, ready to go back into the world. I never feel rushed, and am always invited to hang out, have some water, and chat until I'm ready to go. She makes sure I get the amount of massage time I came for, sometimes running over. I have since come back for more 90 minute sessions, especially if I know I'm going to have a rough week ahead of me. After Mary is done with me I'm pretty sure I'm a little taller than when I first walked in the door.
