This business is the best! I had to come on here to leave a review, because I just got an email from Andres saying he would reinstate some of a gift card that expired during Covid! My partner got me a prenatal massage, which I never got a chance to use because we went into lockdown. We've since moved away, but it really shows how Andres is a caring and ethical business owner, in addition to being an amazing massage therapist! (Andres' massage is also truly amazing. Best massages I've ever had. He used deep pressure and didn't "pop" the tight knots in my shoulders, which is exactly what I said I wanted.) read more

Great experience with Andres getting my first lymphatic drainage massage. He was very professional and took his time explaining the process and made sure I was comfortable along the way. Would recommend and will be back! read more

Solid deep tissue massage. I was tight and achy from sitting in front of my computer all day and pushing myself at the gym so I was hoping a massage would be the answer. My therapist definitely knew where to dig to get all the knots out and was a great listener. When they say deep tissue they really mean it so just be aware it will be uncomfortable but worth it in the end. In the age of COVID, I thought they took all the necessary precautions with masks and sanitizer so I felt safe. Prices are on par with other professional massage places. However, expect a no frills experience as the business is inside of an actual house. If you are looking for a spa experience, I would try somewhere else. With that said I did enjoy my session and will be coming back. read more

I had a terrific massage today. I made the appointment a month ago. They had great deal on Facebook and was a good deal for this great deep tissue massage. They have good COVID safety protocol prior to coming in and again once you come in they practiced safety protocol with an air filtration system. The space is beautifully decorated and spacious. It is a warm and welcoming space. I was offered hot stones as a part of the service (BONUS) which helped to easy the tension in my back. read more

Unprofessional! And not willing to take accountability. I show up on time for my massage waited 20 mintues at the door for her even called got an answer machine. The Masseuse Ellen or whatever her name was late, she did not realized I was her client walk right past me. I finally said to myself "that's was it!" And I left she calls me 20 minutes later while I get a pedicure instead and tells me "I am late" I said "No I waited for you 20 minutes"and she hangs up in my face very disrespectful self entitled racist pompous and failed to take accountability. Let it have been me I would have been ripped apart and charged for No show fee. read more

JP Massage is such a gift. Andres is a great listener and will work to attend to problem areas with great care and the perfect amount of pressure. I highly recommend JP Massage. read more

High quality massage and great energies, highly recommended!

Had a massage with Will - the massage was world-class. It started face up , which I preferred as I was able to engage in conversation and build rapport with Will. He has an exceptionally warm and friendly demeanor that immediately put me at ease. There is also a distinct difference between some who knows how to give a relaxing massage and someone who knows how to work with the muscular skeletal system. Will's knowledge was very obvious and he was able to offer unique techniques to the areas that needed more work on. Often when I get a massage I feel like a get a temporary pain relief. Will's work felt like it completely reconstructed my body. I felt like a new person. So if you're looking for the best massage in Boston, you've likely found the right place. read more

Had my first massage at JPs Massage Therapy Center today and already can't wait to get back. The Center takes excellent COVID-19 precautions and is very clean. Now, on to the massage. William McNiece went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable during my entire session. He gave extra attention to my problem areas and when the session ended, I felt as if I was walking on air. I haven't felt this relaxed in years. I definitely recommend you try out this place and request William, if he is available. read more

Danya was professional, courteous and definitely knowledgeable about the areas which needed addressing the most. I felt renewed and flexible and lighter whenI left. She did an amazing job! Would definitely go back! read more

Fantastic new client 60 minute massage with Serge! I have never been here before and have not had a massage in a few years. I called yesterday and asked for their earliest availability and was scheduled today for an appointment with Serge. He was extremely welcoming, kind and friendly, and made sure to tailor this massage to my specific needs (knots in my upper back that are a longstanding problem). The atmosphere was soothing and relaxing; Serge checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was comfortable and that everything was going well. He really was able to work out the knots in my back, the 60 minutes flew by. Definitely recommend!! read more

I had a wonderful experience with Serge for a massage. The space is great, very relaxing and welcoming. Serge asked a few questions before the massage to get to know some of my needs and asked for feedback throughout. I left feeling very relaxed after my deep tissue response. Be sure to budget enough time to find parking, but you won't regret booking here! read more

Had a relaxation massage today with Serge. Really great massage! He asked questions and checked in a couple of times to make sure the pressure was good, which it was. 90 minutes flew by. It's good to keep in mind that this is a local business and doesn't necessarily have all the frills some expect with a massage. No relaxation room, etc. But that shouldn't matter for a quality massage. Two bits of feedback to the manager: 1) When you can, invest in softer linens. The towels are a bit rough on exposed skin. 2) Had a brutal time on the website a few months ago trying to book a service (particularly on mobile) and actually gave up! You don't want to lose business due to a poor booking experience. read more

I've been going to Ms. Dani for several months now as I recuperate from some emotional stuff and bad physical habits (too sedentary!). Dani listens to my needs and suggests how we spend our time together. Very professional and respectful. I leave feeling relaxed and stretched out. También es bilingüe. ... The space is clean and tranquil. ... (The bathroom is shared with other businesses, so I prefer to arrive with an empty bladder. :) ) read more

I got a 60-minute therapeutic massage. The building was hard to spot from the street--they're getting an exterior sign. I called to ensure I was in the right area and Andres was very helpful. It's located near to the Jackson Square T Stop and the Dunkin Donuts/Stop and Shopping plaza. The lighting and music were very relaxing. And the massage was excellent. The therapeutic massage was definitely a good pain. Hours later I am still feeling loose and relaxed! I'll definitely be going back! read more

Always great!! Have had nothing but wonderful experiences at JP Massage. Andre and Tatiana are both awesome. Be back soon, thank you!

Fantastic massage, tailored to my requests for anatomy and strength. Easy scheduling and communication. Will definitely come back.

I had my first massage *ever* at JP Massage Therapy Center with the wonderful Rachel. She was fantastic in explaining everything for me, as we'll as what to expect from the massage during and after. She thoroughly went over my medical history with great empathy. The massage itself, a 60 minute Therapeutic Massage, was simply terrific. Nothing over the top or silly as you may find in more of a chain establishment. This was all about achieving the goals Rachel and I set for our session, which was exactly what I was hoping for. Additionally, very cost efficient compared to nearby locations in day Chestnut Hill. Huge value for your . They can probably not tell you this, but if driving, there is a Stop & Shop nearby with ample parking if you don't want to contend with street parking. Planning to be back! read more

Excellent massages in a comfortable setting. I felt renewed after my 69-minute deep tissue massage.

I have been going here for about 5 years and have had great experiences from all the staff I have worked with. The owner is incredibly accommodating and works to ensure that his clients are happy. When I've worked with Andres, he checks in throughout the treatment about the pressure and my comfort level. I always leave feeling better than I came into the place. Highly recommended. read more

This was my first 90 minute focused deep tissue sports injury massage with Will at JP's Massage Therapy Center. Will was very attentive to my concerns and listened to what I was feeling during the stretches and strength tests. Since I had given detailed notes on my mild strain, Will was able to focus very quickly into the spots where there was tension. He stretched and massaged the places I cannot reach. Immediately after I left, my range of motion increased. After 36 hours, my pain greatly decreased. We worked very well as a team where I did my homework to give him the feedback he needed to provide excellent care. I will see him again since he is a great conversationalist and we were able to catch up on life and have a good chat! read more

Have recently had massages with Night and Gina. Both are really good massage therapists and offer helpful recommendations around stretching to reduce sore muscles. If you are looking for a more sports oriented massage Night is really good. read more

I have gone to Andres, the founder and owner of JP's Massage Therapy Center, for *prenatal* massage monthly now for 3 months. He's such a gifted masseuse, especially for expecting mothers: so knowledgeable about the pregnancy experience (has journeyed with his wife through 3 pregnancies), gentle in spirit, a wonderful listener, attentive to the specific physical need I express in that particular massage therapy session, and gives excellent and thoughtful tips on how to care for my body better in between my massage therapy sessions. I would highly recommend him for pregnant clients seeking prenatal and postnatal massage. He's an expert and knows the limitations of pregnancy massage and what is particularly helpful as well! read more

Finally went back post-COVID and SO HAPPPPPPY! Andres and his team have done an exceptional job with COVID safety. I was nervous, and the experience left me totally reassured. There's a text survey in advance asking detailed questions about exposures and symptoms. When you arrive (to a sanitized office and treatment room), you take another several page survey and sign forms attesting to your health and acknowledging your liability and compliance with tracing through DPH. Andres confirmed my symptom-free status verbally and with a contactless thermometer and sanitized pulse oximeter. I feel quite confident that no one is getting in there with an active COVID infection. And even if they do, the treatment rooms have air purifiers, are thoroughly sanitized after each use, masks are required at all times and Andres also wore safety glasses and gloves the whole time. While it wasn't my favorite being stuffed in mask the whole time, I cannot EVEN about how badly I needed a massage and how incredibly wonderful it was to get back in to see Andres. COVID=massive tension. Go get a massage! Unless you might have COVID. Then just wait until you're better. FYI - they can no longer provide water, so bring your own. read more

I went to JP's massage therapy Center for the first time and had a great experience. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Serge did a great job and it was a super relaxing massage experience. Would definitely recommend and will be back! read more

I suffer from chronic back pain, and working in an office setting 40 hours a week means I was desperately in need of theraputic massage. JP massage Therapy was conveniently located and also easy to book via ClassPass. My massage therapist Tatiana had a very calming, meditative presence and was very attentive and professional, working through my the knots in my back with the right pressure points for full body massage. Will definitely plan to book again! read more

If there was a title to this it would be: "How to nearly ruin a person's birthday." One of the worst businesses I've encountered. I had a massage scheduled for 11:00 on a Sunday. At 10:30 I received a message saying the massage was canceled. I'm already traveling to the business. They could not have sent the message earlier in the morning? I'm sure they want their clients to be on time. So leaving my place early enough to be on time meant that I could to even get the message until the last minute (i.e. a few minutes before the appointment). No one at the business. Door is locked. A subtle message saying, "Go away." They celebrated their 10 anniversary of being in business by offering gift certificates to new customers whose birthday was within 2 weeks of their anniversary. I ordered a certificate to celebrate my birthday. This is information they had. It should have been important information. They sent plenty of reminders, with confirmation, instructions and did their best apparently to encourage my sense of excitement of receiving a hour massage on my birthday. But then all the excitement, antiicipation that they had stoked with all their message and emails was ruined. Destroyed in one annoying message. The owner said the scheduled masseur called in sick. Why didn't owner call me earlier to say that the massage could not happen today? Why couldn't the owner just give the massage? Warning about Gift Certificates: It turned out that the gift certificate (issued by the business- not bought by someone else) was for only less than half the regular charge. But that was never communicated. So, even if not canceled, I would have arrived only to be told either before or after the massage, "Oh by the way, you owe another $65 dollars." In 2 different ways, in 1 day, they have guaranteed I will not ever consider this place again for a massage. read more

After having my BBL I needed Lymphatic Drainage Massage ASAP. I was so happy to get booked with JPMTC! Andres has been amazing. The amount of education that comes with the massage is beyond helpful. Andres has been extremely gentle and professional. I'm grateful because I'm very sensitive. Upon arrival, you'll need to ring the bell. So, the level of security makes it already a perfect setting of comfort. You won't find them overbooked or people just hanging around the studio. Once you enter the studio the light levels are perfect as you immediately begin to relax. After completing some basic Covid questions, you must leave your shoes at the door, you are lead to one of the massage rooms. The studio is a perfect size. The cleanliness is everything. Highend massage tables, top-quality pillows, therapeutic music, and scents. I absolutely love everything about this place, the location is first, parking isn't always available in front, so you may have to work down, so arrive a few minutes early just in case. But directly up the street from the Train. OR the Bus. Which stops right in front. I'm about 10 massages in. Im healing quickly and I look absolutely amazing thanks to Andres. Honestly don't know how quickly I'd be healing without his assistants. Thank you JPMTC for being a top-tier massage center in the community. I appreciate you guys 100%. read more

This was my first visit to JP Massage. I was having some considerable upper back and shoulder pain. Andreas suggested a deep tissue massage, which I was at first nervous about because I thought it might be too hard for the pain I was in. But, was I wrong. Andreas used just the right amount of pressure and had me feeling much better by the end of my session. Since we were traveling for the holidays I booked another appointment a few days later. Andreas was not available, but he suggested a therapeudic massage with Serge. Again I had a wonderful experience with just the right amount of pressure. Both Andreas and Serge are professional and courteous. They are interested in your needs prior to the start of the massage and are not chatty during it, only speaking when they need to check in with you. Both of my massages were very relaxing and well done. I highly recommend booking an appointment with either Andreas or Serge at JP Massage. read more

Really great place, and the practitioner (I think the name was Stephanie) was very skilled. The office is small and no-frills, as is the massage room, but the quality was excellent. They have very generous first-time client deals. The one weird hitch is that you can hear the office area from the massage area, so you have two sets of clashing new age-y music sources, but it's not a big deal. Also just a note that they don't have shower facilities onsite, and their bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Overall, would definitely return! read more

I've only had positive experiences in the few years I've been going to JP Massage. It's been a while, but I made a last minute appointment with Will because of some neck pain. Will was easy to talk to and assessed my range of motion in depth before getting started, which definitely helped prepare for a therapeutic/helpful session. A few hours later I'm still feeling the difference in how i'm able to move and stretch my neck and shoulders and am able to sit comfortably for the first time in a few days. Very grateful! read more

I had an awesome massage. My therapist was Night. He focused on the areas that I asked for and was receptive to my requests during the massage., ie. change in pressure, etc. He really got into the knots that had built up from not having a massage for several months! He seemed intuitive. Best jaw and foot work I've ever had. I booked again. Highly recommend. read more

I was nervous about getting a massage during Covid, but I really appreciated all the disinfecting policies outlined on the website. I'm so glad I came in for a massage! My lower back pain from sitting so much was out of control. I went from an 8 in pain to a 1 in only one massage! Andres was thoughtful, attentive, listened intuitively to my needs and gave me a great healing massage. I can't wait to come back again! read more

Amazing! Serge gave me a beautiful one hour massage and I immediately booked another one for 90 minutes next time. He was firm and gentle and made me feel super comfortable. Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet and peaceful. I cannot wait to go back! read more

Had a massage with Sergei today. He was very nice and professional. He has a good deep tissue technique and is able to lighten up depending on your tolerance. Unfortunately, he avoided all of my extremities. He did not work on my hands feet or face. I thought it was very odd. Apparently the fact that I asked for extra attention paid to my shoulder must have taken time away from those body parts for a full body massage. I wish I had been advised. I would have asked for full body at no expense to any part of the body. It's either that with a 50% promotion you only get neck to ankles or too much time was spent on the shoulder. read more

This place is great! Andres is a very talented massage therapist. I came here with basic tension and aches and pains caused by the stress of daily life. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The location in JP is great, very convenient and plenty of on street parking available. The space is calming and relaxing, clean and professional. read more

Tatiana gave me a wonderfully relaxing massage. Her touch, vibe, and technique we're all perfectly soothing. My tension was melted away by her intuitive combination of general full-body kneading and some isolated rubbing and pressure where she found knots or tightness in my back and elsewhere. I left feeling a noticeable reduction in my stress and an overall sense of greater well-being. The lovely spa music, meditative ambiance, and heated table certainly added nicely to the experience as well. I'll be back soon. read more

The massage therapists are excellent. I have seen Dawna and she is very effective and knowledgeable about the body and how to disentangle the many knots throughout. The environment is calm, relaxing and beautiful. I have a membership and plan on going monthly. If it were allowed during COVID, I would have a massage longer than one hour, but will wait. The only negative feedback I have is about their website -difficult to navigate. So persist, get though it and make an appointment. read more
