All I have to say is steer clear!! Jerry Steib is the worst dealer I have worked with this far. We asked for all bronze trim for the windows and doors for the exterior and for some odd reason he gave us the suggestion of a different color for the side door. He should have been more transparent that the color is NOT the same as the other doors he was quoting us. Instead of rectifying the situation he keeps blaming me telling me that I could've went in person or did an unfinished options or went with another manufacturer, none of which was ever brought up to me in the first place. He was communicating with our contractor when the order was being written up, not me. I would save yourself the headache and the time and go with a different vendor. For someone who has 30 years of experience his professionalism is dismal! Not to mention we have so much more windows and doors to replace. We will find a different vendor for all purchases moving forward. TO BE CLEAR: Jerry you were only in direct contact with Mike my contractor I only paid for the doors so your comment if absolute FALSE. you made no mention that ONE door of the SEVEN you quoted me was a different color. ALSO in the SPEC all of the trim says BRONZE which is Very misconstruing! Honestly, if I could just help one person not use this vendor I feel like I have done my due diligence in society. It's no surprise that this company has a 2.7 star review. Jerry is incompetent at his job and didn't even remember what he quoted us and what was asked. We asked for black windows with BRONZE trim and BRONZE exterior doors with white interior. He emailed me saying my window colors were different, not knowing that I am fully aware of the color chosen for the window. Their truck driver began making a huge racket at 7:45AM on my street, Avenue O. He BLOCKED my driveway so I could not take my child to school! She had a math test 1st period! When I told him to move the truck he sneered at me and didn't say a word. I phoned the company; a woman on the line was sympathetic to me but then another man got on the line, heard my complaint, and hung up on me. Then when the driver moved his truck he nearly hit a paratrans and a school bus. DON'T PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. They stink. read more

Needed some Plywood for a project. Don't have a large care so I needed it cut to size onsite. The Panel saw at home depot and Lowes are both out of order. Sent my wife to pick it up with a specific list. She sent me a picture of what they were cutting - wrong thing. I called and spoke with them over the phone - they told me what I was looking for (AC plywood) isn't a thing - It is, then they said they didn't have it.. So they tried to sell the wrong thing to my wife hoping that she wouldn't know. Don't take advantage of your customers. It's not ok. Don't try to guilt trip them when they want their money back. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I think this was the worst experience I've ever had making a purchase. They gave me 8, 8' by 10' pieces of wood instead of 8" By 10" karate boards. Way over charged my card and refused my refund. They called the owner and he laughed at my frustration. He was unwilling to fix such a simple issue. Went in to buy some plywood and have it cut to size. I went in there knowing what I wanted so it was easy to place the order. We went to get the wood cut to size, the guys working there was extremely helpful! Even cut sizes that l was told that they are not able to do. read more

I am a contractor that frequents this place. They are excellent at what they do, and fairly priced. I think some people come in here expecting some sort of concierge service. However, if its not early morning, when its a madhouse, your not going to get any service at all, its just how it is in a lumber yard. If you show up after 11am, when things die down, its manageable, and I find that they are a great help in getting what you need! read more

Although I wouldn't recommend their lumber for detailed furniture work, I think they have a large selection of raw materials to work with. The staff is always attentive and the buying process goes very smooth. When picking up your lumber, you can request certain pieces be left out of your order and replaced if not up to quality standards. read more

Very disgusted with the service of an elder woman that works there she's rude and full of attitude - not to mention that she reeks of cigarette stanch. She stepped outside to have a cigarette while a new girl she called her "assistant " who was very pleasant helped my wife and I find moundings . This place is AUFUL! - unprofessional, disorganized and unbelievably RUDE! I was told that it takes 4 business days for delivery of 4 doors. When I placed an order I was told "may be next friday" which would be 7 business days. Then they said they will deliver first part on Wednesday. NEVER HAPPENED! I spent enormous amount of my working time with them on the phone. And after telling me that "nothing can be done' they yelled at me and hung up. I had to pay my contractor for half day/no work. That first part was delivered on Thursday and one more door was promised for Friday. On Friday I called and was told that they will call me back with the time of delivery. NEVER HAPPENED! When I called at 1:30pm I was told the sales person is gone for the day and that I should call back on Tuesday as they are closed on Monday. Ordering doors and getting them delivered should not take so much working time, money and most importantly such unprofessional and rude service! read more
