The specialists are totally credible in discussing materials, building, and everything related. The warehouse floor staff are very understanding, laborous, and unified about getting the materials out. Their leader is particularly present, prominent, and caring. Their care for passerbys thru their curbside work areas is telling of their good culture. Their delivery drivers are also kind and gentle, even if sidewalk deliveries are a hectic time. Which was installing ceiling fans( purchased separately) with "on the wall" wiring rather than in the wall wiring and all the fixins purchased from these folks. It was my first project of installing ceiling fans like this (Have installed ceiling fans before but never the wiring from the outlet) and I have to admit it all went pretty well. Because here it is late August ... hot as he__, .. well you know how hot it is, and guess what?!, my ceiling fans are working fine and the on the wall wiring looks professionally installed, albeit, perfectly fine. I'm having my apartment painted soon, in late September to have all the on the wall -- WIREMOLD-- colors blend in with the paint on the ceiling and walls. There were some hiccups on the invoice but they credited me appropriately when I pointed errors out to them. they corrected problems immediately. So all in all this is the place to go folks if you want professional service from professionals who have all the supplies you'll ever need for electrical type work.

Glendale lumber epitomizes the single store operation that has been handed down from generation to generation,. Its sad to see so many fall by the wayside and heartwarming to see those businesses that have remained. I had my stairs to the basement rebuilt this week, first instructions to him were to use Glendale Lumber for all materials. I did this knowing full well his reply would be that they are more expensive than Home depot. I am not a rich man, but I will pay extra to a local family run business, always have and always will. The blond oak planks were cut and ripped to my specific needs at no additional cost. Quality of the wood was excellent, no knots, straight and not dinged up in any way. "Back up your vehicle into the garage as to not get a ticket at the hydrant" was the advice of the workers, who accommodated my contractor by loading up the material and attaching a red plastic flag to the end, for visual warning to drivers behind his truck.

Stewart, an incredibly kind & knowledgeable man helped us. He was quick to give us information to fully inform our purchases. We need screws to assemble a couple of cedar fence panels and he let us know that we'd need stainless steel screws because other metals react with the tannins in cedar and can leave black "drip" marks under the screws over time. Little things like that mean A LOT to me. The store itself is brightly lit, very clean and very well stocked for any project you might be doing.
