I recall only one green and one fairway being a big rough due to dry summer weather. The course is a confidence builder. Nothing to hard. Fairways are wide and forgiving if you happen to hit left or right. Most are straight so few blind shots. Not a lot of water and sand was in fair locations. Not a huge factor. Staff was friendly. I liked that they announced the groupings over the loud speaker to tee off so you knew when you were up. Good experience and price was right.

We were recommended to go here because we were looking for used golf clubs. The young lady working the front counter was the only one of a handful of employees who greeted us. There were at least five other employees in the store that we walked by and no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. Mahlia was working the front registers but was also the only one who offered to help us. When she had to cover the front register, she asked for help from her coworkers and no one responded to her. So we were stuck waiting. She asked someone to get what we needed from the back room and again she had to go get it because no one helped her. I'm giving 3 stars for Mahlia and because we found what we needed. But I was sorely disappointed in the rest of the employees.

This golf course is a COMPLETE JOKE! Do not come here if you've reserved a tee time…read more We arrived at 7:45 am for our 8:10 am tee time and they miraculously lost our reservation. They didn't have it anywhere in their system even though we had confirmation over the phone. I saw that they did this to a couple of different people as well. There were a couple of ladies that had an actual tournament set up to play that drove hours to get there and the attendant claimed to not know anything about it. The staff here are incredibly unprofessional. I'm not sure how many people this happened to or if it's a common practice but it's completely unacceptable. I won't be coming to Phalen golf course again. Give Keller Golf Course a try instead!

Not sure if they provide clubs if you don't have them. They showed us how to use the system and set us up for a course. We opted to play a European course, St Andrew Old Course. I was in the long grass often. The system was easy to use. Hint, if you want to hit from forward tees, you have to set that up before you start the game. I was playing from the guys tees which put me at a huge disadvantage. You can bring in your own beers and snacks if you choose. They do have water but no other refreshments. We had a great time. I've been training with Amy twice a week for the past year, both in person and virtually. When I…read morestarted, I was pre-diabetic, and suffering from plantar fasciitis and osteoarthritis in my knees that made it painful for me to participate in the sports and activities I love. Since then, I've dropped over 50 pounds, lost eight inches around the waist, and gotten back to hiking and pickle ball and golfing without pain. When I went for my annual physical a few months ago, it was the first time in fifteen years that the results came back clean - every result was in the normal range. Cholesterol and blood sugars were way down. I hired Amy as my trainer because she would come to my home, and train with me in the garage on the equipment I own. Dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, box jump, wall sits, etc. Every workout is different. She is patient, quick to offer modifications when something's not right, and keeps a close eye on form to ensure I perform the moves correctly. She knows how to push, too. I never knew there were so many variations of plank exercises, squats and lunges. She's often recognized before I have that I am capable of doing far more than I realize, and it's worked. She's turned me into a lover of Bulgarian split squats! I'm healthier, stronger and more fit than I've been in decades, and I credit Amy. She's even helped with diet and nutrition, and turned me onto healthier foods, and when and how to use protein shakes maximum effect. In other words, I'm a big fan, and wholeheartedly recommend her training services for anyone who is serious about making health and fitness a bigger part of their lives.

The interior was much more spacious than others I've been in, with the golf bays being nice and open. I really appreciated that as some have made me feel closed in. The mulligan button was hard to use if you weren't fast enough, but we didn't need it often. The same guy leaves early because he had to wait for a drink obviously not really vested in the wedding itself. Then He sends the same message three times, very funny.
