If you're lucky you might see a turkey or two while golfing. The holes themselves are nothing too crazy and for a beginner golfer I appreciate that. I apologized multiple times and he would not accept any of them. I used to golf here all the time & throughly enjoyed it, but Ken has deterred us from ever golfing here again. The forward tees are short coming in at less than 4800 yards. Tee boxes were a bit ragged. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Sand was not fluffy and more like light dirt. Not a lot of water on the course. Lots of trees and fairly narrow fairways. There were a couple of holes that were kind of goofy, and S-shaped hole, one with a tiny pond right next to the green that should have probably been a trap instead, and one that was using a temp green which severely shortened what should have been a par 5. Overall, it was a good course for the price.

The one thing to know, is that there aren't a tremendous amount of options for their brunch, unless you do the family style. A couple…read morehighlights: - several holes had amazing views of the river valley so much so that the couple we were golfing worh took lots of photos - the greens were challenging but in a fun way as lots of slope and very well maintained. - the course had a really relaxed vibe and fellow golfers were very friendly. - the staff was super friendly from the person washing carts who got us set up to the pro shop to the beverage cart server to the restaurant/bar where we had lunch after our round. Everyone had a smile and that definitely contributed to a fantastic atmosphere. The course had lots of terrain and mature trees but wasn't too punishing for novice golfers (90-110 scores) who only play a couple rounds per summer typically but are working to play more often. I would highly recommend making the drive during the summer and can only imagine the views in early fall with the river valley leaves. Finally it looks like the clubhouse / restaurant is set up to host events and wedding receptions with amazing views. We will be back as the views, course, and staff made the easy 1 hour drive from Eagan well worth it.

After giving them a hard time about clubs and making them pay additional money for two carts, the same employee later went out of his way to find them on the course around hole 15, claimed they were "taking too long," and then sat there watching them play and continuing to antagonize them. The way my boyfriend was specifically targeted throughout the entire experience felt very clearly racially motivated. If there was genuinely an issue with pace of play, there were plenty of professional ways to address it without repeatedly singling out paying customers, hovering over them on the course, and escalating the situation to the point of having them escorted out when they only had a few holes left. Completely unnecessary and unacceptable treatment of two people who came there to play golf and enjoy themselves. I would reconsider ever coming to this establishment many other golf courses in the area that are better to give your money too, disgusting.
