The two ladies sitting at the front desk greeted as soon as we walk through the door with smiles. They were eager to help my mother and made her feel at ease when she explained to them that she was in pain. We didn't have to wait long for my mother's appointment and once she went back for her MRI, I was able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, watch The Morning News, and get a little bit of work done while I waited. He provides a calm atmosphere, excellent x-ray technicians, and his immediate attention to my current test results. I am guessing all that must have created a lot of new patients. I am now 65 and can't afford the $390 concierge fee and am looking for a new facility for my mamogram. I am disappointed that he is my third Northwestern Memorial doctor that has skipped down the road to become a concierge doctor. I have other specialists at University of Chicago Med, they never do this, only the NWM doctors go this route. I know he is the best and hires the best x-ray techs (never cause me pain). By reducing his patient population, I seriously hope he is able to help breast cancer patients that need constant imaging.

Would give a zero if I could. Arrived at 0625 for a 0630 appointment. Lights off in lobby. Doors…read morelocked. Not a big deal since I'm early. An employee parks right next to me at 0627 and goes inside. Lights come on. I give her a minute and try the doors at like 0635. Doors locked. I stand out for a bit (20 degree weather) but no one comes to the door. I tried calling both phone numbers listed for the facility but they say the clinic is closed until 0700. I tried the doors a 3rd time at 0642 and finally doors open. The woman at the front (who had parked next to me) was immediately hostile. She says 'the doors are hard to open and just look locked' and 'no one called'. (I tested the doors on the way out, and not only were they easy to open, but automated, so she lied about them being unlocked.) She acknowledges that she saw me standing outside but didn't come to the door. Absolutely rude the rest of check in. If I didn't very much need the MRI I would have left. I felt vulnerable and anxious the rest of the visit, even though the tech was great.
