I was picking up a new Vulcan from a private seller and jut didn't need it anymore. I worked with Bob Ernins in sales. I told him what I wanted for it, which was about KBB when selling to a dealer. He had the service department go over the bike and after finding no issues and noting it was in good condition they ended up giving me exactly what I wanted for it without turning it into a haggling session. Renegade Harley had offered me about 1.5K less than I wanted and did it a super shady way. Bob Ernins had the paperwork done and I was back out the door in record time with cash in hand. Super props to Bob for taking the time to work with me and doing a great job despite my not buying a new bike from them. Tomorrow I am taking the new Vulcan out to them for a service.

After cross referencing YouTube videos and reading loads of testimonials we settled on the bad boy mower. Our neighbor has had his for 15 year with no issues. Next for the dealer. My husband had enjoyed YouTube videos by mckenzie jump in marionville so we decided to give her team and shot. We got our socks knocked off with amazing customer service. We used the text feature on their website to see if our desired model was in stock. Tracey was quick and efficient and let us know that although they didn't have one at that moment they would soon. I was billed for work involving my vehicle, including charges to my warranty, and **work was performed that I did not authorize**\. It took **five separate visits** before the underlying issue was addressed\. On my **fourth visit**, I was specifically assured that my vehicle was **safe to drive**\. I trusted that professional assessment and continued driving the vehicle, including having my children with me\. On my **fifth visit, less than 24 hours later**, I was told that the vehicle was **not safe to drive**\. Thank God nothing happened while my children were in that vehicle\. That change in assessment is extremely concerning\. If the vehicle was not safe to drive, why was I assured less than 24 hours earlier that it was safe? I was also told by the dealership's new car sales manager that, **"Sometimes we have to throw parts at it until we figure out what's wrong with it\."** That statement, particularly in light of the number of visits and the work performed on my vehicle, did not give me confidence that the problem was being properly diagnosed or repaired\. When I questioned why it had taken five visits to resolve the issue, I was met with raised voices rather than a professional explanation\. I also questioned the additional work and requested that the dealership take responsibility for having the resulting issues properly inspected and repaired\. That request was refused\. I am now having to seek an **independent inspection and investigation to determine the full extent of the damage and what repairs may be necessary**\. Customers should be able to trust that work performed on their vehicles has been clearly explained, properly authorized, and completed correctly\. They should also be able to question charges, repairs, and safety concerns without being spoken to disrespectfully\. I strongly recommend that anyone using this service department **document every interaction, verify exactly what work has been authorized, and carefully review all charges and warranty claims**\. This was not simply a disagreement over a repair\. It was a serious breakdown in communication, authorization, diagnosis, customer service, and accountability\. The owner is a super nice guy, he was honest about what he could and couldn't do on this particular Friday afternoon and what would have to wait until next Monday. I was able to get done everything I needed to within the afternoon. Efficient, knowledgeable, respectful and honest. Customer service was even above what I have experienced from many shops in the past. They even had a young man carry my freshly mounted wheels/tires out and load them up in my car for me. The day before I leave my battery starts to show signs it's dying. The local HD store is closed on Monday so I called and spoke with the head chief here. He told me to swing in and they could set me up with a new battery if I hustled over. Trust me when I say the Blue Ridge Parkway is NOT the place to find out your battery just died, so I hustled over just as fast as my little bike could take me. It took them a bit longer to install the battery than he thought it would thanks to Harley over engineering everything, but he only charged me the quoted time for the service which was nice. He's a very personable guy as well. They also have a lot of riding gear to check out and I walked away with some additional rain gear which I probably should have picked up a week ago. Their prices are right to be sure. Their showroom for bikes isn't large but there is no question they just earned a customer for life on their service side of the spectrum. Most dealers wouldn't care what your emergency was, but a real service department gets you back on the road because they know those rides just won't wait.
