I started with a dotolo colonic, which means I have a therapist to assist me and massage my abdomen during the procedure. I have since graduated to the libbe colonic with no assistance and it is much more private. My body feels lighter after cleansing/emptying my intestines. So I sip bone broths and drink teas. The ozone sauna or oxygen pod is also great; you sit naked on a towel as your pores are bathed in pure oxygen and expels toxins. It feels hot like a steam bath and only your head sticks out. It lasts for 30 minutes if you can handle it. I love the infrared sweat bed; another form of detoxing the body. You are fully clothed with socks as you lay on a fully lined sauna bed for 55 minutes. They are always so nice to tell me about the channels I can watch on tv or what I can listen to. I have always fallen asleep. The water and the orange slices are to keep you hydrated and replenish electrolytes. They have a beautiful, informative website with more information. info@chicagointernalcleansing.com

I met with GCW initially after an instagrammer I follow recommended them (shoutout @froyotofitness)…read more. I came back from Mexico in December with a bug, hives , numbness , body aches , and 10lb weight gain , and $4000 later of MRI, colonoscopy , endoscopy , etc doctors (literally 5 specialties) still couldn't figure it out . Now it was May, with hardly any resolution and I saw this come up on my Instagram feed. This was my "last resort" . I will admit I am a cynic when it comes to a lot of things or holistic "trends" - but I figured this was worth a try . Fast forward to now- I had my initial consultation and they suggested to do a full workup of blood work , hormone tests and stool analysis. After doing that I had to wait a month for my follow up, which was today. The results showed a lot of information I was unaware of, and after meeting with Dr. P and Faith I'm hopeful I will start to feel better once the vitamins and food plan are implemented. Dr P was extremely thorough and even addressed my birth control with me which was nice to combine that aspect with the resI'm a pretty healthy person (truly probably don't have more than 15 lbs to lose) and have been to a nutritionist before, and have been told to really alter my entire lifestyle in order to lose weight. I was really impressed with faiths willingness to listen (ie: I don't like / have time for a smoothie every morning before work, sos he changed up my meal plan on the spot ) and literally said to me "I'm not trying to tell you to not drink wine or eat out because I would be a hypocrite ". She also isn't super into calorie counting which is a nice thing to hear (I've done it many times before - it works for sure, just can get exhausting to maintain 100% of the time). She made me feel like small tweaks in my diet and focusing on specific foods as opposed to restricting things- something that made me much more comfortable and less anxious about starting- and more confident about sticking to this until I figure out what foods affect me in what way . I will post an update in a month or so with some results - but so far I can say although not really covered by insurance , it's been worth it. I wish I would have started here as opposed to $4000 of neurology/rheumatology/ gastro appointments but you live and you learn :) * update 7 weeks later and I feel like such a better person. I've lost 6 lbs and feel way less bloated than I ever have. I am going back in a week or two to get re tested, but as of now I feel amazing . Couldn't be happier with choosing to come here *

Had my 1st consultation with Dr. Hashmi and I finally felt heard. Received a wealth of information…read moreand guidance to help me achieve my health goals. I'm excited to partner with Green Circle Wellness in the future on next steps. Health is an investment.

I like this place for the most part. I've been here twice for two different procedures: endoscopy…read moreand colonoscopy. Before the procedures I had a teledoc appointment, which went well. The doctor was very chill and knowledgeable. The procedures and staff were good. I particularly liked the assistant who worked for the anesthesiologist during the first procedure. She was very upbeat and accommodating. My only issue is that there was limited parking.

I had put off this procedure for 5 years because of all the horror stories I had heard from others. The team was very understanding, proactive and the instructions were very clear. I appreciated all the text reminders too - that was extremely helpful!! I am so happy I followed Dr. Lotsu's instructions rather than the ones that were on the prep box or the various "tips" I read when googling this procedure. Dr. Lotsu and his team have made what is usually described as one of the most unpleasant screening procedures as professional and as "good" as it could possibly be. The procedure itself is definitely not pleasant - but I'm certain that developing and/or fighting cancer would be 1000x worse.... The most discomfort I felt was from having to go a day without eating and I was so freakin' hungry. The prep wasn't even bad - the taste was fine. The exorcism of the demons wasn't that bad either - I was expecting an intestinal terrorist attack, but it really wasn't horrible and it was over in an hour. Dr. Lotsu personally called me with the results later in the day and explained everything to me. He is very professional but also very personable. If I have anything un-positive to say or any suggestions for improvement, it would be that I expected to be 5 pounds lighter this morning, and the weight loss was only 1.4.... and that pillow was super comfortable - I could have slept for another hour or two. Maybe next time - ?
