Every single table was dirty and the place was basically empty. I didn't see a single hairnet on anyone preparing food in the back. There were no less than 20 flies in view at a single time. I saw a tray of raw fish sitting out the entire time we were there (at least 30 minutes). With the exception of the bar tender, the workforce seemed to be high school kids. That's fine but they need leadership and guidance or they will grow to be bad employees. All of them just chatted with each other. Clothes and hair were disheveled. Their attitudes were poor and they had no motivation to do their jobs. Kinda sad as I hoped this place would take off. I won't go back under these circumstances.

The waitress explained that menu is designed to be shared but the items were things like salad and a burger. I'm not sure into sharing a burger. So it was just weird to be explained the menu is a 'shareable' approach but the items were challenging to share. The vibe of the place felt like they were trying to be the fanciest brewery around and bring California to Western North Carolina. It was just really uppity. Personally, we like our breweries more local feelings. With so many other options in the area, we won't be back.

I always liked the beer here & love their Czech One Two so bought a pint for 7.50. Then ordered a half pint. Then ordered a half pint of their black gold porter. When we got the bill I was surprised to note that theyu charged me $5 for each half pint while cost of pints for the porter was $6.50 and for the Czech $7.50. I expected the price to be half of what a pint was like it has been in the past or at other breweries and pubs (Sierra Nevada, etc) We will not be returning.
