They hesitated taking the truck back to fix it because it was sold "as-is" but they did, reluctantly. Now we are trying to renew the tags on the truck (we simply had tags transferred last time) it was not able to pass emissions. Low and behold the check engine light was blown so who knows how long it had actually been on. After sinking another $2,500 into the truck to get the knock sensors, catalytic converter, and intake gaskets replaced it still failed emissions. We pulled the dash out to look instrument cluster (where the check engine light is) and found it had been replaced by a SALVAGE YARD! So now we will have to replace the entire cluster costing an additional $400-$500 just for the part - not including labor. Please know we understand this was a used vehicle and with that we expected to have to fix some things here and there. But to have not been told of the work that had been previously done and told that it was a running, well working vehicle, and the check engine light was not on was obviously misleading to obtain the sale. For all we know this owner knew of the issues the car had and was just trying to get it off the lot at the cost of the customer. I would NOT recommend buying a car from Mike's. Please do yourself a favor and look else where. *Updated: Only weeks after the repairs above were completed, the transmission started going out. We are now almost $5,000 into repairs not even a year after buying the vehicle.

Before I drove to the dealer that's 3 hrs away I asked if this vehicle was involved in any accidents and other questions to which I was responded that it had no issues whatsoever. I pay with a check and he said he would send the title once the check cleared which did next day. After 2 weeks and asking repeatedly for the title we received it and to our surprise it said Rebuilt Title. I took the car to CarMax for an appraisal and after the inspection and because of the rebuilt title the value of the car is only $2500. I contacted him because by law he had to handled me a document before selling me the car with all the details regarding the Rebuilt Title which he didn't. He is trying to scam me and now he apparently forged my signature as well. Which person in the right mind purchases a vehicle with a Rebuilt Title for full price? In short, my car is a rare vehicle. It is a 2018 Buick Regal TourX Essence Sportwagon. I needed two parts - a low pressure AC hose and an engine cooling fan. Corporate repair chains and the dealer refused to touch the repair because not only do they not have the parts, there is no part number listed. Without the $500 fan, basically, they were saying the car is a total loss and needs to be scrapped. William at Auto Collection was tenacious in finding these parts. He never gave up. Since they basically repair street legal race cars and are not part of a corporation, they can do what ever is necessary - and they did. They tried everything just short of making the parts themselves. It is not necessary to go into those details, but I have my car back repaired at a reasonable price. My next stop if they could not get the car running would be to take it to a local auto museum that builds replica cars. William was always honest, upfront and told me his next attempt. Yes, this was a long drawn out process, but my car is not undergoing a crusher or off to KarsForKids.com. There were some issues finishing the job. But they made immediate good on them, obviously did not charge me and in comparison to what they did accomplish, I'll take it. These issues might have been enough for others to really roast them on Yelp!, but I took things in perspective.. Oh, BTW.
