AMAZING!!! I…read morerecently wrote a very unflattering review about a not too far removed experience I had at Brown Lee Ford. The response from ownership (Mr. David Lee) as to my experience showed me they "get it!" The professionalism of the staff blew me away, from my wonderful saleswoman Emily Duncan (always responds and communicates, I was impressed), to the managers, to the sales staff, to the finance dept, to the service dept (talkin' to you DETROIT! ;-) to the owner Mr. Lee himself. Mr. Lee, great leadership by you shows in your top notch staff! Mr. Lee knew I was coming in and showed up on a Saturday on a holiday weekend to make sure that I was cared for truly blew me away! Not only that, they put me into what I truly wanted and made me one happy client. I purchased the Shelby Supercharged (750 hp) "Black Ops" F-150 by Tuscany. (He's a beauty!) Let me ask you this? How many car dealership owners show up on a Saturday of a holiday weekend to right a wrong? I'm guessing not many. Mr. Lee, you took a tough situation and turned me back into a lifelong client again. This is my 3rd high performance truck I've purchased from one of Mr. Lee's dealerships, it surely won't be my last. (Not by a long shot! My girl has her eye on the White Hennessey Velociraptor Ranger already) Here's the "kicker" that sealed the deal for me, I live in Franklin, TN, Brown Lee Ford is in Morrison, TN, (that's a 3 hour round trip) and offered if and when I need service, DETROIT is going to drive to my home with a loaner and take my truck back to the service center at the dealership, are you kidding me? That was above and beyond my expectations to say the least. When it was time to drive off (after a nice detailing to make BRUTUS III shiny), Mr. Lee, Emily Duncan (my saleswoman), and service manager (DETROIT) all showed me off after a little chat. I end with this, Brown Lee Ford had to do a thing for me, they WANTED too! If you want to have as good experience as possible at a car dealership, go to the BIG BOYS toy store and see Miss Emily Duncan and the staff at Brown Lee Ford, you'll be happy you did! A mile from their shop the check engine light came on. Then started finding other chit not working. Heater fan, cruise control, mirror adjuster, odometer. A week and $200 later, they pull the truck around with a CLACK, CLACK, CLACK, CLACK, CLACK sound coming from it and the TNT guy jumps out and says "you know this needs a transmission right.?.?.?". Everything listed here worked on the truck before a locked up engine and parked for 9 months. The A/C system was trash when parked and idk if the washer fluid worked or not, too lazy to put washer fluid in it and too tight to fix the A/C. 2002, 300k truck. But everything failed, all at once.? Motor, instrument cluster, mirror switch, cruise control, fan switch, AND a transmission...??? 2 MAJOR components, 3 important, and one luxury, all at once.?? The Check Engine Light was not mentioned while paying, but it is currently NOT on.

After making a call to the local VW dealer (who could get me an appointment in 2 weeks) I walked across the lot to Reox Automotive. I'm glad I did. As I walked in, I was greeted by Danielle (an owner) and asked if I could get a jump start. Joe walked out with me to my car, jumped it, and said they had space in the bays to take a look at my car to see what was causing the problem. Hmmmnnn....YES! They had space immediately which was just what I needed. I jumped at the chance as I already knew there was a 2 week wait at the dealer. The team ran some diagnostics on my vehicle and Joe walked me through the process of what was needed for my car. He provided me options and allowed me to choose what I needed for my vehicle in accordance with my budget. It needed an oil change and a new battery. Joe made me feel like a lifelong customer and there was a level of trust between us that I haven't felt from any other shop. The shop reminds me of an old school auto shop with a lot of nice homey touches. I felt at ease while sitting on the couch, watching re-runs of the Honeymooners, and listening to songs that were from the mid-20th Century (perhaps the Cole Porter songbook?). It was cool and I felt like family. Their customer service blew me away. I was communicated with during each step of my services. They spoke to me like a person, not a revenue stream. After replacing it, within 2 hours of driving about 99 miles, the tread peeled and came off the rim. I was pulled into a weigh station, inspected, and ultimately placed out of service on my trailer because of the tire issue. In addition to the product problem, I was disappointed with the customer service and the attitude I received when addressing the situation. I was also offered a discount in exchange for leaving a positive review, which left a negative impression on me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop and would advise others to be cautious. Save yourself money and time and go somewhere else.
