This wasn't just any car they worked on. It was our beloved family car -- the one I learned to drive in, the one we took on so many road trips and made so many memories in. We trusted them to take care of it after a wooden plank damaged the hood and windshield. Big mistake. They had our car for weeks, and when we finally got it back, it was in far worse condition. The interior was filthy. The leather seats were completely ruined. The fender trim on both front tires is hanging on by a thread. The sunroof has stains, and the interior compartment cover is broken. How does that even happen during a repair job? There was zero care or professionalism in how they handled our vehicle. It felt like they just didn't care. What should've been a simple repair turned into an even bigger mess, and now we're left cleaning up after their poor work. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They discovered a lot of improper repairs done under the skin where the customer couldn't see it that Ford of Murfreesboro had covered up. It had to stay in the new shop for an additional week to have the improper repairs fixed properly and then their work to finished. Do not trust for Ford of Murfreesboro you don't know what's below the surface. The general manager of Ford of Murfreesboro got involved and discussed with the other shop what had happened but he refused to make it right with me. I paid them a $500 copay for work done improperly that I had to rent an additional car for while their work was corrected.

Granted, a body shop is a messy place, but my car waited outside for me to retrieve it and got rained on as well. It looked terrible, even though it had a brand new hood. I'm sure this is being picky, but that's me. ( I washed it and can assure you the hood and headlight look exactly as expected.) My insurance paid everything but my deductible, so there were no surprises at that end. I would highly recommend this team. They are professional, considerate and good communicators. In short, my car is a rare vehicle. It is a 2018 Buick Regal TourX Essence Sportwagon. I needed two parts - a low pressure AC hose and an engine cooling fan. Corporate repair chains and the dealer refused to touch the repair because not only do they not have the parts, there is no part number listed. Without the $500 fan, basically, they were saying the car is a total loss and needs to be scrapped. William at Auto Collection was tenacious in finding these parts. He never gave up. Since they basically repair street legal race cars and are not part of a corporation, they can do what ever is necessary - and they did. They tried everything just short of making the parts themselves. It is not necessary to go into those details, but I have my car back repaired at a reasonable price. My next stop if they could not get the car running would be to take it to a local auto museum that builds replica cars. William was always honest, upfront and told me his next attempt. Yes, this was a long drawn out process, but my car is not undergoing a crusher or off to KarsForKids.com. There were some issues finishing the job. But they made immediate good on them, obviously did not charge me and in comparison to what they did accomplish, I'll take it. These issues might have been enough for others to really roast them on Yelp!, but I took things in perspective.. Oh, BTW. While I was there, a driver showed up to take one of their high end used cars back to New Jersey. Stop by and just walk through the lot. It is like a car show..
