This place is very popular. I've been here a couple times now and there is always a line of people waiting. It's a small venue, a bit cramped, but the food is tasty. They've got your typical Vietnamese dishes, but since it's called "Midtown Pho," I, of course, had to order their pho. The broth was fantastic, and I did not feel super thirsty after the meal so it is not super heavy on the MSG. Good portion sizes too. The only issue was that this place gets so popular, it's difficult to flag someone when needed, including asking for the check.

So glad we stopped here for lunch while in the area. Midtown Pho is a popular spot with good lighting and an energizing atmosphere. The food is excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and varied. The portions are large and prices reasonable. I chose the vegetarian summer rolls and vermicelli noodle tofu. I'm looking forward to returning!

I love Midtown Pho! I am very picky, i get no meat, spicy beef pho! It's sooo delicious, flavors burst in your mouth! Very spicy but i can stand it! Haha! Thanks Midtown Pho, for a delicious meal, every single time! Oh yeah, i love your Thai Tea too! Byee!

Broth was very good and had tons of flavor. The rare beef was tender and really was a huge portion for the price. Plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños on the side. Service was good and the pho came out quick. Would definitely go back

Rice in the rice dish was cold and stiff though overall was good. Several in our group noted the ramen broth as good. Seating is limited for this popular place. Parking is limited.

Great broth, chili sauce (ask for it) is well done. Plenty of garnishments. Decent amount of protein. Not on the cheap side but Pho is best I've found so far !

This is hands-down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the triangle area. They have a great story that's plastered on the restaurant wall and are so accommodating toward vegetarian/vegan customers. I always go for the tofu summer rolls and vermicelli noodle tofu dish - so delicious and never disappoints! Their vegan pho broth is mild and not my favorite so would not recommend that unless you put your own sauce mixture into it. My friend said the beef broth was quite tasty though. The restaurant is quite popular on the weekends, so I would recommend going on off times on the weekdays or getting there early to get on the waitlist - trust me, it's worth the wait!

What friendly staff! The space is nicely decorated with breezy. The pho is pretty good, definitely the best I've had in the Triangle, albeit a little sweet. Portions are good. The soft shell crab was a disappointment though. It came with veggies not scallions and was plated differently than usual. The batter was thick and crunch. It soothed by craving but I probably won't return.

food is good. The atmosphere is very cute. Decorated in Vietnamese environment service a friendly, and very efficient. Are they recommended

Decor is fresh and chic with the high ceiling. Service was great and quick, we got the soft shelled crab appetizer and it was crispy and delicious. We also got a Bun Rieu (IYKYK ) and pho. The pho broth is flavorful and clear, toppings plentiful. The BBH had all the fixings and if there was blood cake it would be complete. Highly recommend!!

Came for lunch on a Saturday and had a great meal here! They were able to accommodate our large party, which was appreciated. I tried: + Fried pork spring rolls + Iced Vietnamese coffee + Sliced rare beef pho + original banh mi All of the food was excellent. Definitely recommended for Vietnamese food in the area.

This is a popular place and I can see why. The Hubs needed his pho fix and was not disappointed. Rare steak was tender and the broth was on point. I was searching for Banh cuon and was disappointed it wasn't in the menu. The server steered me towards Banh Xeo, a large vegetable-laden pancake. I selected the shrimp version. Absolutely loved taking some minty Thai basil leaves, a piece of the pancake, wrapping it with lettuce with my chopsticks (sometimes dropping it!) and then dipping it into the sauce. The Shrimp Spring rolls were a great stater too. Would definitely be back!

The North Hills spot ( 4421 Six Forks Road in Raleigh, beside Total Wine) feels settled in the best way. Comfortable, Welcoming, Cozy. We started slowly. A wine flight. Truffle fries with truffle aioli, parmesan, oregano. Marinated olives layered with citrus and herbs. Nothing too over the top, but generous and satisfying. The kinds of plates you keep reaching for without realizing it. For dinner, we had the the NY Strip (North Carolina pasture-raised Angus with Diane sauce and a French onion potato gratin). And the roasted whole fish (with hazelnut gremolata, citrus beurre blanc, and confit sunchoke). Both cooked to perfection, nothing missing, and absolutely delicious. What stuck with us the most htough, the service. Ben and Oscar were sharp, attentive, and present without being overbearing. They made the evening feel even more incredible. The business was clean and there is also a bar inside. The restaurant has a large selection of wines and offers flights for purchase. The restaurant had some people dining in but they were not overly packed. Initially our server was pleasant and attentive. I got a blood orange sparkling water. It was ok. I ordered the whipped ricotta for an appetizer to share and a burger with fries for my entree. The whipped ricotta was ok. It would taste better with some sort of seasoning in it. My fries were served hot but needed some salt. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done but I was brought a burnt burger. I took one bite but it was too overcooked. I then requested that my server have my burger be cooked medium well so I didn't get another burnt burger. When my burger was brought back out, our server had me cut into my burger to make sure it was to my liking. The preparation was better but it was bland and tasted like there wasn't any seasoning on it. After this our server wasn't as attentive anymore. For dessert we got the donuts. They were served warm and I enjoyed them with the cherry sauce. I did not like the chocolate sauce that was served with the donuts.

Wife and I started our quick little anniversary getaway here, and they nailed it. The place itself is gorgeous. Huge patio with greenery, baller bar area in the middle of the upscale open space, which gives a modern and chic vibe. That problem I mentioned? Deciding what we were going to order off of the amazingly stacked tapas menu. One sounded better than the other, plates coming out to the left and right of us...we were deer in headlights not knowing what to do, words didn't come out when our friendly and knowledgeable server came by. As far as problems go at a restaurant, I guess it could have been worse. With helpful guidance and knowing our love for anything foodie related, we just started picking one by one after a few sips of our well balanced cocktails (another large menu with anything and everything for fellow cocktail lovers out there). Had to go with a meat and charcuterie board first. A decadent manchego, a creamy French that was smooth and tangy, plus a 20 month cured ham that was salty and smoky. Honestly everything that came out after was a 10/10. From the wild mushrooms, Wagyu carpaccio and bone marrow, to the pork belly, corn bunuelos and steak paillard...everything was cooked to perfection with amazing spices and sauces that complemented each dish perfectly. (See pics and captions for more details) These chefs and mixologists know what they're doing here. 2 managers came by our table to make sure everything was going well. The ambiance is dark and nice for couples or friends. The booths at the bar are not the most comfortable, so I prefer a table. The tapas are those you find at a traditional Spanish tapas place. The papas being amongst the most popular are a good staple. The charcuterie is also very nice. The other tapas can be hit or miss depending on what is seasonally offered. On this visit, I wanted Brussels sprouts but they were no longer on the menu and the lamb was not a bone in lamb but rather ground meatballs. Not bad, just not what I expected. It's not a place I seek out to come, but it's solid food and drinks that fills a need when I want a late bite.
