This florist gives small business owners a bad name. A friend sent me flowers for Christmas. I received a bunch of lilies. I sent a picture of the arrangement to the sender. He asked where were the orchids that were supposed to be included in the arrangement. I called the store and spoke to the owner who was rude. He said my friend didn't know the difference between lilies and orchids. I understand it was the holidays however no customer should be treated in such a disrespectful way. i was very disappointed in the arrangement I sent to my friend. I ordered online, a globe vase with a bright assortment of flowers, including many smallish bright pink roses. My friend received a square vase, and the flowers were not quite big enough to look balanced. Most importantly, instead of many small bright pink roses, there was one large pale pink rose, and many yellow daisies. It was decent, but not color balanced and cheery like the picture, and for $100+, I expected better. Small, but better. read more

I've ordered in the past from here, but now when I went to place an order online they tried to charge me a first-time fee of $10.00. Needless to say, I went to another florist. I tried to call them to let them know this is happening and the employee I spoke to over-talked me, and then asked me to call back when the owner would be there. I ordered flowers for my grandma, the night before her bday. I was concerned I would be too late to the game, and they wouldn't make it to her on time. Midtown Flowers delivered a beautiful arrangement the very next day though, on her birthday. I always prefer to use a local florist rather than the ones featured on the larger distribution sites, like 1-800 Flowers etc, but more often than not, it's hard to connect with the local florists. Easy to order website. Nice selection and reasonable prices. I received a phone call within 30 minutes of the order to let me know they were out of one of the featured flowers. This is an example of excellent integrity. It would have been easy for him to substitute and the chances of me ever knowing would be slim. BOB @ MIDTOWN FLOWERS is the BEST if you want to impress you Mom on her birthday! It truly is a crap shoot to choose a florist online since most florists use the homogenized, yet very convenient, yet horribly designed - FTD website which shows cookie cutter arrangements and prepackaged gift baskets. I am in San Francisco so honestly I randomly selected Midtown flowers, because their zip code was in the same zip code as the delivery address where my mother and her twin sister are spending their birthday's there in Naples, Florida. But BOB didn't create some boring design - he created something gorgeous and unique and included a box of fresh, delicious chocolates. This is the best case scenario that one could hope for when ordering flowers sight-unseen! My mother and aunt are delightfully happy. Since we cannot be there to spend the day with them on their birthdays, I know they will remember that we love them dearly every time they see it. THANKS BOB! read more

Now we are briefly in Naples, and we wanted some flowers on short notice and stopped by the shop. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and we are very happy with the flowers we received. So I wanted to send a nurse at physicians regional a bouquet, he was so good with my ill mom post surgery, she insisted I send him flowers anonymously on her behalf with only a Real Houswives of New Jersey quote (she introduced the nurse to the show). I get a call from an abrasive man, Bob,shortly after saying that the bouquet I ordered would not possible because they were out of yellow roses and an other flower. At that point didn't care I told him "whatever you think", he sounded like he hated his job but not perticularly rude to me just in a general way. Then about two hours later the rude gentleman Bob called me letting me know that without the department of the nurse he could not deliver the flowers, I will admit that was my fault I assumed the front desk would have taken them. I asked him what were my options he shot out "I don't know, do you want a refund, because I can't sell a bouquet this specific to anyone else". I told him that I didn't say a word about a refund, just asked if I could pick them up at the store. I didn't know the department name just the floor number so at his suggestion, I agreed to call Bob later that day with the department so he could deliver the flowers the next day. I texted the nurse got the info and called Bob. The next night (Saturday) the nurse texts me he never received flowers. So I called Bob Sunday early afternoon. I asked Bob about the flowers, he said they turned the second delivery guy away, I asked why I never got called or notified, and if I could get a refund at that point. I was annoyed by the lack of urgency on their part, I could have just picked them up like I originally wanted to and deliver them myself. He condescendingly chucked and shot " you know what man,I was gonna call you today, but if you want a refund I'll give it you. Your order has been hell!"He then proceeded to curse out the hospital,"...if this was NCH it wouldn't have happened..." then barked merry Christmas before hanging up. I received my refund for the $138 I spent the next day...then was charged again immediately after. Still no money. Please go anywhere else for flowers.... read more
