Solid sushi place. I ordered from here and the delivery was very quick and the order was correct. I ordered 4 rolls and all of them were very fresh.

My brother helped me pickup and said it looks like the restaurant is still closed for dine in - if that's the case this place is doing a great job keeping up with take out orders! I was pretty impressed by the meal. The only downside for the hibachi steak lunch was usually hibachi comes with noodles and fried rice - my brother expected his meal to include the buttery fried rice they usually have with hibachi meals. Also, the katsu pork had some of the fried layer coming off but that is to be expected since it was heating up in the container and creating moisture. A quick throw in the air fryer made it taste just as good as in the restaurant! I was happy that the sushi and meals came with many different sauces including a sweet soy sauce mixed with wasabi. Solid place with solid price! Even though my review may not seem like it, totally would recommend for that quick order.

I hate to have to write this negative review because typically this restaurant is a place that I love for sushi! I ordered their lunch special on DoorDash which is a great value, but I received it with a long piece of hair on top of my sushi. Sadly DoorDash did nothing to help me and the restaurant did nothing because it was a DoorDash order. So if you are willing to forgo high sanitary standards, you can try your luck with Midori. Honestly every other time I've been here I've never had a problem. But after this instance and the way there was a lack of handling with customer service I won't be back.

The quality of sushi is always amazing at Midori Sushi. The service is quick and the staff are very attentive. Unfortunately the dine-in experience is only self serve. I'm not sure how that works because the store mainly operates as to-go.

Truly a staple and one of my all time favorite sushi restaurants. If you want value, come here from 11:30-3pm Monday thru Saturday. Yes, you read that right, Saturdays are included in the lunch special menu. The best deal for sushi is the any 3 rolls for 12.95 in my opinion. If you want quality, come here any day of the week. My favorite special roll of theirs would be the Blue Crab Fantastic Roll: BBQ eel and avocado inside, outside top with martuated blue crab w. chef's spicy creamy sauce. They are definitely one of the most consistent places that never disappoint.

A pretty solid sushi spot Came here because a friend who lived in the area wanted to go... It's a BYOB I believe since she brought a bottle of wine Inside is a good size ... wasn't too busy and they tend to you pretty quick We tried the kani salad which was light but good Rolls - we ordered three- the kiss of summer, the madness roll and the Phoneix roll . All pretty good

Stopped here for a quick dinner after pottery. ThAnk goodness it was empty. We placed our order and in a few minutes we were eating. I ordered the crazy roll. Comes with two pieces, I was hungry. I have been several times and I have no complaints. It's fresh and servers are very attentive. The tables are turned very fast. So the waiting is minimal and worth it

I was looking for a sushi place near the area and decided on this one for a quick lunch. Was a little scared when we were the only ones in the restaurant except for one other table. We got the highland park roll, imperial dragon, and the phoenix roll. highland park: 8/10 phoenix: 7/10 imperial dragon: 9/10 Service was pretty good too. I love when I see an eco-friendly restaurant: they give paper straws here in the water cups (save the turtles!) Hope to be back to try the other items on the menu!

The food in this place is good. Their sushi rolls are very well made with good rice ratio. I had the shrimp tempura, peanut avocado roll, and the spicy shrimp roll. Their appetizer are also good as well. Their spring roll was crispy and the filling was good. I like how it was not greasy like other establishment. I also had their garlic eggplant dish and it was well made. I have no complaints with their food and I highly recommend the shrimp tempura roll. It was crispy but not fried too much to the point where it was hard. It was super tender and delicious. However, the reason why this place is 4 stars instead of 5 is because their hostess was not very attentive and my party have to wait a good 6-8 minutes after we are all ready to order. They were not busy so it was confusing for us. They did not ask how the food was and did not come as often to check up on us. The ambiance was okay, it was more causal/dark and the decor looks a bit outdated. If they had better service, this would be 5 stars.

This Midori truly sucks and doesn't even compare to the one in Piscataway. This location consistently does not put sauce on their rolls. Even if I request in the caption to ensure their is sauce on the roll, BARELY. The roll today also tastes not fresh and like it was sitting out all day. I rarely order from this location but decided to give another shot and was sorry I did. The one in Piscataway is phenomenal though. Will never waste my time and money at this location again. Oh and they also didn't even give chopsticks

We eat here often, and for the price the sushi is pretty good. I always get the spicy maki combo, and they add a good amount of tempura (which is my favorite part of the sushi) to it which I love. I sometimes get the hibachi dinner and the sauce is always a bit lacking in terms of flavor. The meat seems a little bit dry, and it seems a bit pricey for what it is. Still pretty good, but I would stick to the sushi. The dinner combos come with a salad and miso soup. The restaurant itself is small and gets packed in the evening so just be aware of this before going.

This is easily one of the best ramen spots I've ever tried. They offer a great variety of broths, ranging from clear to creamy and spicy. My personal favorite is the Spicy Miso Ramen; it's the perfect balance of richness and heat, accompanied by incredibly tender pieces of slow-braised pork belly. I also love that you can fully customize your bowl with different toppings to make it exactly to your taste. You also cannot skip their appetizers. This time we ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura, which was fried to perfection without overcooking the shrimp, and the sauces were the perfect addition. You also need to try their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, the Bao Buns, and my absolute favorite: the Ika Geso Karaage, which comes with the most delicious mayo dipping sauce. The cozy ambiance perfectly complements the food, and the service is always attentive. It's a BYOB spot, which is a nice touch, and they'll provide glasses upon request. Since they don't take reservations, make sure to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist so you don't have to wait too long to try this amazing food!

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

Upon entering, you've entered a high speed Japanese train with lights and signage surrounding you. The little train cars that bring your food are super fun, and the conveyor belt is actually filled with food. The little robots that bring you appetizers are a fun touch too! There's a great mix of both sushi and cooked food here, and each dish has such amazing flavor (which is surprising for an AYCE establishment.) I was fully expecting something to taste off or not hit the mark, but that never came. While the sushi rolls are fun, the cooked food is definitely the star. The fried rice was flavorful, meats had great sear to them and the sauces were tasty. I've never been to an all you can eat that had agedashi tofu, so it was a surprise to me seeing this on the menu! Whether you're into raw sushi or cooked meals, there's food for everyone. I fully understand why wait times are so long - we waited for 1.5 hours for an early weekend dinner. Definitely need to visit this place at least once, maybe twice, or just all the time, because the bang for your buck here is unreal!

The ramen is just as rich, flavorful, and comforting as the original. We came with high expectations, and both the tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen were as satisfying as ever. That creamy pork broth? One major plus: street parking is way easier here compared to the Bayard St location. No circling the block endlessly or needing to pay metered parking -- we found free parking right out front, which made the whole experience feel way more relaxed. Any downsides? The Easton spot is smaller, with fewer tables and a tighter layout. It feels more like a ramen bar than a sit-down social restaurant, which is fine for a quick meal or a casual date night, but maybe not ideal for bigger groups or a cozier intimate feel. Like many people today, I'm mindful of what I spend dining out, so I expect good value for the price. Since I live in South Jersey, I brought the food home to eat later. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The ramen included four slices of chashu (pork belly), but three of those slices were entirely fat with no meat. I understand that pork belly naturally contains fat--that's part of what makes it flavorful--but receiving pieces that were essentially all fat made the dish unpleasant and felt like poor quality control. I called the restaurant to share my concern, but the response was underwhelming. I was simply told the manager would be informed. When I asked if there was anything further that could be done, I received no real resolution--just a basic explanation of what pork belly is. As someone who understands the product, that explanation missed the point. The issue wasn't what chashu is--it was the quality of what was served. Everything else about the meal was fine, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. However, customer service matters just as much as the food. A simple effort to address the issue or offer a solution would have made a big difference. As a former business owner, I've always believed customer satisfaction should be a top priority. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and for that reason, I won't be returning.
