Fast forward to Friday and the needed part for the transfer case had not come in. The owner drove to the warehouse to pickup the part Friday afternoon and the shop worked late, after they typically close, to make sure the truck would be ready for me when I got back into town. This is the definition of customer service. It would've been easy to have called me to tell me the truck wouldn't be ready until Monday, but Johnny and his guys put in the extra effort to do right by me. Excellent communication and top shelf service.

We spoke with Johnny and he told us they were pretty busy, but we could drop the car off and they would squeeze it in. When we dropped our car off they were transparent that they probably wouldn't get to it until Monday 09/22. We understood and didn't have an issue with that so we went on our way expecting to hear from AAMCO in a few days. A week goes by and on 09/25 we call and speak to Johnny and he tells us that they weren't able to get to the car because they had a few jobs that took longer than expected. We understood and continued to wait. Flash forward to 10/06 and we call AAMCO again to get an update and no one answered the phone so we left a message expecting a call back. No one ever returned our call. On Wednesday my husband texts Johnny because he told us we could do so, and Johnny doesn't reply. My husband then calls Johnny and he doesn't answer. Johnny then texts my husband that he will call him right back and he never returned his call. By this point we were fed up. This place had our car for 3 weeks and didn't even touch it or bother to update us about when they might get to it or if they were going to fix it at all. Thursday morning (10/09) I took an uber to AAMCO and arrived around 8:30am. On their website and on google it says they open at 8:00am. When I arrived no one was there and the place was closed. I had to stand out in the cold until 9:00am and order another uber to go meet my husband to get our rental car which we have now had for 3 weeks thanks to AAMCO. During this time my husband texted Johnny and asked if they were open today and that we needed to get our car. Once again, Johnny didn't reply. I returned to AAMCO around 10am. The owner was in the shop at this time and I told him we needed to pick up our car. I explained our situation and he seemed surprise to hear that they had our car for 3 weeks and we were continuously ignored about getting updates on the car. The owner seems like a nice man but I don't think he has any idea of what his employees are actually doing. He apologized and asked if they could still fix our car for us and I declined because I don't trust them to get it done anymore. Today (10/09) we took the car to another shop to be worked on. I generally don't like leaving bad reviews, but I'm doing so to hopefully prevent other people from having to go through a similar experience.

Brian was most helpful and courteous. He listened and answered all my questions. Always get great…read moreresults at Automasters, this time was just in for oil change, I left it there and they called me when it was done. Great price and friendly people, nice to find a place that treats you like a friend not just a number.

These guys are seriously great. Here's three reasons why you should go here over anywhere else!…read more First, I was calling around all day trying to find a place to replace my timing and drive belt as well as my water pump. These guys came in at 1100 for an estimate. From what I gathered 1100 was far less then their competitors but not so cheap it made question the quality (sometimes the cheapest jobs cost the most). Bryan got me in later in the week and had the job done in ONE DAY! Here's the best part... the final price came in under the estimate! Second, remember when i was calling around trying to find someone to do this? Well, I called a few places back to follow up and had to re-introduce myself and my vehicle blah blah blah. Not Automasters. I called back to see when I could schedule and Bryan had everything on file so we got straight to business. This might be the weird military bug in me but attention to details is huge and typically if a company is doing the little things right they are probably doing to the big things right as well! Lastly, I called to ask about some body work. Bryan told me that they didn't do this type of work but instead of just saying goodbye proceeded to give me a few contacts in the area of welders he would recommend. (Seriously give Bryan a raise he is crushing it) Overall, these guys care about what they do. For me at least, they are my new go-to repair shop.
