I experienced similar issues as the others but I will say Josh made it up! I was overcharged on my first trip and the limo was less than prestigious but they did give me a second trip free to make up for the problems. My daughter was turning 16 (Sweet 16) on Thursday, May 7, 2015. I had a "DFW" Weekend of Fun surprise planned for her birthday and I was extremely excited! Well, at the last minute (May 5th) I started thinking how I didn't want her actual birthday to go unnoticed, even though the weekend was to celebrate her birthday. I mean 16 is an official "milestone"! So, me being who I am, wanted to do something special & thought about surprising her (yes, I'm big on surprises) with a limo ride for her & her friends along with dinner. Let me say this, we are from Wisconsin & moved to the DFW area of Texas; however, I uprooted my daughter to move to Tyler for a job opportunity and wow it is way different! I'm still in shock at the limited availability of EVERYTHING in Tyler. So I asked a few 'trusted' sources about booking a limo (after I found the lack of options on the internet). Midnight Express is the referral I received continuously. Going back to the internet, I wasn't 'over the top' about the fleet options available so I check with another 'trusted' source. While waiting on a response, I again 'googled', limo services in Tyler, TX. That search returned the same results and also had "reviews" attached. Of course, I needed to read those reviews and they were, let's just say, consistently well below satisfactory. I was concerned and running out of time. I could not allow my daughter's 16th birthday to go unnoticed. On Wednesday, May 6th, I called a friend that I know "knew me & how I am", for help. She made a call and surprisingly, it was Josh Anderson! Needless to say I was extremely skeptical! The reviews didn't sit well with me at all; however, I was approaching the "finish line" & didn't have a limo booked. I spoke with Josh & advised him the reviews I'd read and my concerns. I couldn't afford to disappoint nor embarrass my daughter. Josh was very professional in addressing the reviews, as well as, my concerns! He went on to empathize with the customers who'd posted 'not so positive' reviews. He displayed genuine concern for the previous customers/reviews and gave me assurance regarding the dependability of his company, as well as, the luxuriousness of his fleet. Because of his professionalism and the fact he took the time to "actively" listen, I booked with his service. Josh provided me with the name and phone number of the driver for my assurance. I must be honest, I was still skeptical, nervous and concerned although reservations were made & confirmed. Still concerned...Because I'm still a bit nervous on Thursday, I decided to confirm the confirmation and without I received confirmation of the confirmation. I say all of this to point out the Exceptional Customer Service I received from Josh and it didn't end there. I received an "en route" call from the driver. He provided courteous and professional service. I have to add in "patient" because dealing with a group of teenage giggly girls and loud boys in one vehicle would've been my breaking point, LOL. My daughter was surprised and extremely happy, which made me all the more satisfied! I even received a follow-up call! I will say without any doubt, I RECEIVED EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AS WELL AS, AN EXCEPTIONAL OVERALL EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU, JOSH! LIMO NO SHOWED FOR AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION!! OWNER, JOSH, GAVE ME THE "CHECK IS IN THE MAIL" LINE ABOUT MY $743.94 REFUND FOR OVER A MONTH. NEVER RECEIVED THE REFUND. THEY ALSO DO BUSINESS AS PRESTIGE LIMO SERVICE SO DON'T BE FOOLED INTO BOOKING THEM UNDER ANOTHER NAME. On 5/28 I arranged a limo service with Prestige Limousine Service of Tyler (aka. Midnight Express Limo, J.H. Anderson Enterprises) for airport transportation for 6 from Hideaway to DFW Airport on 7/19 at 9:30am and return from DFW Airport to Hideaway on 7/29 at 6:56pm for a total of $595 round trip. Immediately on 5/28 my credit card was charged $619.95 and the owner, Josh, indicated the extra was sales tax. Josh indicated he was mailing me a contract which I never received. He insisted twice he mailed it but I still never received it. On 7/14 I received a Square receipt from J.H. Anderson Enterprises for $123.99. I inquired with Josh what the charge was and he indicated it was the tip detailed in the contract (that I never received). I requested and received the driver's name a cell phone number to provide to the security gate in the neighborhood to enable his access for pick up. The morning of 7/19, my 6 family members eagerly awaited the limousine service to whisk them to the DFW Airport to begin our once-in-a-lifetime family cruise vacation to Alaska. THE LIMO NO SHOWED! When the limo had not arrived at 9:30am, we called the driver's cell phone and received no answer. I immediately called Josh's (company owner) cell phone and he unsuccessfully tried to reach the driver. After 20 minutes of his unsuccessful efforts, he indicated another limousine driver was on the way to the house and would be right there. I got the name/cell phone of the other driver to provide to the security gate and called him to ensure he had correct directions. He indicated he would arrive in 45 minutes which would put him at the house over 1.5 hours later than the arranged pick up time. This would not get us to the airport in time for our flight. I called Josh and let him know this was an unacceptable option because it would not get us to the airport on time and we had to cancel his services. We called the driver and told him the same. My 77 year-old father had to drive the family in his vehicle from East Texas to DFW Airport to enable them to barely make it in time for the flight. Once we returned from our vacation, I contacted Josh on 8/1 to request a full refund since he did not deliver the service. He agreed to overnight a check to me via FedEx. On 8/9 I still did not have the check and requested the FedEx tracking number. He indicated the refund check was sent regular mail and specified in the email "**Not Guaranteeing a date for your refund to be in hand** Please believe me, it has been sent." On 8/16 Josh reached out to me to ask if I received the refund. I indicated I had not received it and he, again, confirmed the "check has been in the mail over a week now.". On 8/21 I again let him know I still had not received the refund and was taking further action. This company is unreliable and you cannot trust the owner, Josh Anderson, to be truthful (ie. contract is in the mail, check is in the mail, limo will arrive on time). ***BUYER BE AWARE*** Joshua H. Anderson Enterprises, Inc, Midnight Express Limousine Service, Prestige Limousine Service, is associating addresses with his "imaginary" business that do not exist. I discovered this after Mr. Anderson, decided to deliberately downgrade our contractual agreement of the extended Cadillac Escalade, 20 plus passengers on the most IMPORTANT date of our lives, OUR WEDDING! One, can take the addresses that he list as being associated with his and clearly see they aren't attached. I discovered this before filing a BBB complaint and contacting local media. Now let's begin with my encounter with Mr. Anderson and his ***FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES*** On June 30, 2014, I called Prestige Limousine at the Tyler, Texas, location where I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Josh Anderson. He informed me that he was the owner of this company and would be able to help me with my limousine needs. I proceeded to ask him if they had a 20+ passenger limousine in which he responded that they had various extended limousines ranging from Lincoln Navigators, Cadillac Escalades, Hummers as well just to name a few. Since, this was for our wedding and I wanted for us to ride in class, I opted for the extended Cadillac Escalade that seated 20+ passengers for Amber's grandmother and bridal party. Shortly, after my selection he asked how I would be paying and I stated by credit card, but I would need to speak to my fiancé before proceeding. I asked my fiancé, Amber, at the time if she wanted to speak with Josh and she said okay so I provided her number to Josh. He instantly called Amber and was asking for money so he could "reserve" or "hold" the extended Cadillac Escalade and she informed Mr. Anderson that he would need to send a contract to her first before going forward. Also, Amber repeatedly told Mr. Anderson, the limousine needs to have cool air as it will be hot during our wedding as it was at 3 PM and her grandmother would be in the limousine. Mr. Anderson, reassured Amber that it would be "pumping cool" air and we have nothing to worry about. He agreed and sent a contract to Amber via fax in which we still have in our possession at this time. Amber's credit card was charged the same day which was June 30, 2014, for the agreed contractual amount of $569.45. As the months drew closer to our wedding date of September 20, 2014, myself and Amber ensured that Mr. Anderson had all the details he would need such as; pick-up address, pictures of her parent's driveway, etc. So all seemed to be on track or at least we thought as this will be revealed much later in this paper. Approximately, in July I was doing reviews online about Mr. Anderson as I had this hunch that something wasn't right as when myself or Amber called him he always seem to be busy to the point where he would always cut our phone calls short when we would ask any questions pertaining to our big date. As I was online I typed in Prestige limousine in google chrome and saw the following review named Karen P under YELP so I immediately contacted Mr. Anderson and asked him about what happened because I needed to know that I can depend on him and his company on my wedding. He assured me that he did try to settle the dispute with Karen, but he stated, "You can't make everyone happy." I told him well at least you admitted you knew about it so I feel better. I told Amber about the review I found and I told her what Mr. Anderson had said and I thought we would be fine with going forward as he already charged our credit card and all. As the days passed and became closer to the W-DAY (wedding date) I kept in contact with Mr. Anderson to ensure that all will be a success on our date. About, 2-3 days before our wedding, I told Mr. Anderson, that we wanted Amber's grandmother to be picked up from her house and brought to the church (St. Peter's Catholic Church) in Mineola, Texas which is only a mile or so away from her home. Mr. Anderson, said he wouldn't have any issues with his driver picking her up, but he said well since she is so old maybe you shouldn't get the extended Cadillac Escalade limousine, I informed him that no we want the extended Cadillac Escalade and Amber's grandmother (Gree) isn't your average 85 y/o, as she still mows her own yard with a push lawnmower and cleans her house. I reiterated to Mr. Anderson that we want the extended Cadillac Escalade limousine to be picking us up on our wedding date as this was the agreed one we had already paid per the contract. Summary-- Mr. Anderson, failed to deliver the contract agreed upon limousine and intentionally contracted our wedding to another limousine service and chose the least expensive limo for our date so he could keep the money.
