WHAT A GEM! We were driving home and needed a place to stay for the night and just happened across High Hill Farm! We called at 7:30pm, Ryan was able to help us book a bungalow, and he had it ready by the time we arrived at 8:10pm. We ordered dinner, they brought it to our cabin in under 20mins, and honestly it was the best dinner of our trip! 11/10 stars for service, comfort, ease of access, and just overall enjoyment! We will be back for a longer stay with the rest of our family! read more

This place is an absolute dream! We spent a girls weekend here and want to come back quarterly! The food was truly divine, the atmosphere was serene and peaceful, and the service was exceptional. From live music by the pool to the most delicious craft cocktails, we left the weekend feeling refreshed and happy. We also had massages that were AMAZING! I truly can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for a little slice of heaven hidden in east Texas. read more

FINALLY! A fine dining restaurant in east Texas!! The other reviews do not give enough detail and kudos. The crab cake was 95% crab and outstanding. The baked Brie was perfection!! We shared the Caesar....with fried capers....omg! The duck was the absolute best ever along with the diver scallops.....the risotto was just ridiculous. Not to mention the mushrooms that came with the duck. Every single thing was on point. The atmosphere was stunning. Norah Jones at perfect volume. Suzy, Marcy and Sharon were incredibly accommodating. We were tired going to Tyler from Lindale and took a chance. Make the drive. It's worth every minute and every penny!!! We can't wait to do brunch!!! read more

We came out for Sunday brunch and the food exceeded our expectations. The Brunch menu is elevated from the traditional. After the bacon jam crostini (served complementary) I decided for the bacon jam angus burger. I'm not really a burger person but this was excellent. Fries were also seasoned to perfection. My wife had the brisket omelet and was also very pleased. Hats off to chef Ryan Dove. It was fun watching all the servers delivering plates presented with flare. We were from out of town but would make this a go to stop. read more

Really good brunch. Food and setting were excellent. Service was very good. Will go back and try dinner

Looking for a perfect getaway from the city then this is THE place. Drive in was nice was greeted by Sharon when we arrived. Our bungalow was perfect for us and even with our own small patio. You will fall in love with the bedding and have a great nights rest. The small touches in here were perfect. Even the make-up remover wipes. Loved it. The Harvest Dinner was amazing and didn't want the courses to stop. Each one better then before. Chef Erin Willis hit it out of the park and Kurt Anderson as well. Thanks to Jessica and Justin from Red Moon Farms for there delicious produce. If we get away again, we will definitely return here again. Thanks again Sharon and Jason Romano for the hospitality. read more

Terrible service. So bad in fact, this is the first time I've ever written a review of a restaurant. I won't go into detail about the parking lot which, was pretty much all mud, and because there is zero lighting, it's like walking through a mine field of disappointment. We arrived and we're seated quickly. After waiting for 15 minutes, finally the manager (who I am assuming was a manger) walked by and asked if we have been waited on, which we hadn't. She took our drink order, and it took another 15 min, to get those. After 30 min we met our waitress, who quickly informed us what all they were out of. We ordered an appetizer (smoked tuna dip, which was very good!) and after 30 minutes we finally go to order our meal. I ordered the venison, but had to wait another 25 min before I received it. When it finally came out it was cold. The venison was cold along with Brussels Sprouts and mushrooms that were served with it. I was eventually able to order one more drink, but only to notice the waitress seemed like she had better things to do. The only positive that I can note was the live singer that was there was very good. But once, the singer packed up, the manager and other staff sat down with her and the group she was with to chat. Hands down the worse "fine dining experience" I've ever had. read more

What a piece of Heaven in East Texas! A group of us recently enjoyed an incredible weekend at High Hill Farm, in no small part to our hosts - Sharon and Jason. If you're not familiar with High Hill Farm, it's time you do! Nestled in a secluded East Texas location (only 2 hours east of Dallas), HHF is a fabulous facility that offers guests a relaxing get away. While our party was there for a relaxing weekend, HHF can do anything from corporate retreats to weddings to all things in between. Need a massage? In room massage packages are available at HHF as well - this is on my list for our next visit. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sharon, half of the dynamic duo that runs HHF! She set expectations about our bungalow (an adorable, modernly appointed guest house that made us feel like Royalty), as well as other points of interest on the property, including the vineyard, the on-site restaurant (Cote, reviewed separately), and even pointed out the incredibly detailed chicken coop! Pretty birds! Our visit included using the property as a back-drop for some photography sessions, which turned out fantastic! The main event building (which includes the restaurant and event space) offers an elevated view of the property below, including the vineyard, directly behind the building. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at High Hill Farm, which is really made exceptional by the outstanding hosts and owners. Sharon and Jason have left no stone unturned when it comes to the amazing comfort details. They've really made a special place for guests; and from what I learned, more is coming! We can't wait to visit High Hill Farm again - this time to hopefully enjoy a warm fire on a cool winter night. What more can you ask for? read more

I was truly shocked at the gourmet quality of the food and drinks. Honestly I just didn't expect it. This was so much better than I anticipated. The drinks were delicious. We had tried several things on the menu, each better than the last. At the end of the meal, The chef came out and greeted us. What a nice place in a super venue. read more

My husband and I, along with three other couples, stayed at High Hill Farm last weekend. We had never been there before but had many recommendations to stay there. The bungalows were very well appointed and private. The restaurant Côte and staff are exceptional so you will definitely want to dine there! The grounds and vineyard are well manicured and absolutely beautiful. Owners, Jason and Sharon are great hosts, very personable, attentive to very detail and committed to making sure your stay is one that will make you want to return again and again! If you are looking for a getaway that is both relaxing and beautiful, then this is the place! W Jackson read more

Pretty good alternative to a regular East Texas overnight fare, nice to have some newer options. Restaurant was pretty good, drinks really stood out over the entrees though. Food was a bit overpriced for the quality, but the total experience was really positive. Room was good, continental breakfast was solid, but someone forgot to switch to a different knife after cutting onions before switching to fruit. Would def do again, it's super close to Tyler if you need a quick getaway and don't want to drive super far. It's def not a regular bed and breakfast, nice views and it's pretty peaceful. The pool was great and the service was solid, but the older lady working there was a bit colder than the rest of the staff. read more

This place has terrible customer service.. I booked a night here on my wedding night we drove an hour away when we live 10 mins from the wedding venue and when we showed up there was noone on site. My husband and I hosted his birthday dinner at High Hill Farms this weekend and had a fabulous time! The property is simply beautiful and immaculate. Our group of 18 was making plans to return, before we even left! We spent the night in the Southern Bungalow and enjoyed leisure brunch the following morning. The beds were amazingly comfortable! Stay for brunch and enjoy the breakfast enchiladas... YUM!! Our little girls and parents joined us for brunch and the girls ran around outside for hours. You will not be disappointed!! read more
