Free breakfast was from 6-9am. Pet friendly. At the time of stay - $25 per pet per night - up to two dogs. They have a pool, but of course we didn't use it, it's December. Spaces were clean, that's all I ask for in a budget hotel.

My interaction with the staff is always pleasant and they go out of their way to make sure I am happy, whether it is accommodating a room location request, extra towels or replacing lost room key. The hosts were able to hold a small block of rooms for me during a recent stay with family coming in from all over Texas. And have offered to help secure rooms in other cities as I was traveling to other locations.

Than proceeded to go back on the agreement we had made at the last minute, they do not stand on their word and as Americans we live by our word. The room was very clean and well appointed with two chairs to sit in that were actually comfortable and had nice cushioning. She was not even capable of saying Hello or How was your stay and the worst thing... not even a simple "Thank you". This person should NEVER be allowed to deal with customers. She was horrible! Who ever trained her should not be working there. My interaction with her made me decide to not stay there again. She worked the very early shift on Sunday. Blondish hair. The front desk clerk was very friendly and gave me my military discount, making the room exactly the same price as the nightmare place down the street. No problems here! The room is basic (as one would expect), but comfortable...and did I mention, clean?! One of the things I liked best was not having carpet in the room. With flooring you know what's the n the floor...not so with icky, old carpet. It was a bit noisy several times in the night (mostly cars and people in the parking lot). However, a pleasant enough place to stay overnight while on the road.
