The place was very clean, quiet, well maintained and just decorated so very well!!! The couple that owned the place were perfect, nice, more than accommodating, sweet, warm and most of all competent-- they weren't overbearing. It was my first B&B stay, so I had my reservations of course but the BAR IS SET!!! My interaction with the staff is always pleasant and they go out of their way to make sure I am happy, whether it is accommodating a room location request, extra towels or replacing lost room key. The hosts were able to hold a small block of rooms for me during a recent stay with family coming in from all over Texas. And have offered to help secure rooms in other cities as I was traveling to other locations.

Spaces were clean, that's all I ask for in a budget hotel.

With flooring you know what's the n the floor...not so with icky, old carpet. It was a bit noisy several times in the night (mostly cars and people in the parking lot). He told her we would be out by checkout time and slammed the door. I immediately called the office. For some reason he asked if we would be staying over and I told him no. His only real response to our complaint was, " I will speak to her." When we checked out, the clerk didn't offer any other apology or compensation. We will not be returning.
