If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I have been to this place many times. I like to bring my kids, niece and nephew here for a treat after a good day at school. Today when I went, the music was turned up so loud like a party was happening in the kitchen and two of the employee's friends were also in the lobby. I say "excuse me" to try and get the employees' attention in the kitchen, and when the employees couldn't hear me, I say it louder. Again no response. I yell it the third time I call out and still nothing. Finally (3-4 minutes later) an employee comes out, I think to check in with her friends, and sees I'm there and turns back around into the kitchen laughing hysterically saying to her co-worker "oh my god" and I hear them going back and forth on who should go out. I call out again saying "excuse me" and the music stays playing loudly and I am ignored. I ask my mom and sister to bring the kids into the car because I know at this point me complaining to management should not be witnessed by little ones. I went to stand in the front corner of the store, by the door, where I wouldn't be seen from the kitchen because of a tower tray of cookies and the display, hoping that the employees would come out thinking I'm no longer there. Sure enough the female employee, who I later learned is Camille (from her friends in the lobby area with me), came out and then quickly went back into the kitchen laughing again. I then start taking video (attached to this review) of the music playing and me being ignored when the male employee, Tuan, comes out and asks me how I he can help me. Mind you this is now 7 minutes since I first entered and after numerous times of being seen and then ignored. I ask him for his name and ask if his manager is there to speak with. He says he isn't and so I ask for his manager's name and phone number, to which he replies he doesn't have and maybe I can leave my number instead. Of course I don't accept that they don't have their manager's phone number and ask for it again. Tuan finally gives it to me and I immediately call his manager, Adam. After explaining to Adam what occurred, he apologizes and says that their behavior is not professional (no kidding) and it seemed odd to me that the apology was so casual, given what I just described to him. After staying quiet on the phone because I am genuinely expecting more of a response, Adam states he will be calling Tuan. Tuan's phone immediately rings and he takes the call in the back. Camille comes back out to the display still laughing, no remorse for the poor customer service and how she has represented this company. Tuan comes out and says, "I'm sorry. That was not professional. I can give you 6 cookies." And the way he delivered his apology officially made me swear off coming to this place again. It was flat and inauthentic like I was a nuisance to him. I guarantee that I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know. Never coming back here again. read more

The huckleberry ice cream was really bland, and the cookies were OK. They were out of what I really wanted and offered substitutes saying they would add 3 extra cookies. The cookies are immaculate! I especially loved the fruity pebbles, not many places offer such a range and fun variety like that. I'm super stoked about the mall location, it doesn't seem to fit in with the food court, but there's more space, easy service, and ability to clearly see the cookies. You definitely don't get the warmness that came with the other location, but that fits how people order in a food court. I used to work for this place and boy are they awful. Little to no cleaning standards, allergen cookies (nuts/vegan) stored with and sometimes touching regular cookies. No real security, felt unsafe being there at night on multiple occasions with no sympathy from management. The Edmonds location has no place for their staff to use the bathroom (my best friend who worked there had to literally pee outside of the shack or take an unsafe walk to find an open business. Now I know they have a new owner, so I decided to check them out again. Cookies are still overpriced and overrated. The kid who was working when I came in handled a cash transaction and then began to start moving cookies around without changing his gloves. Already disgusted, I asked him to switch them and we got 3 cookies. They taste almost the same as before but a bit different. I could immediately see the floors do not get cleaned well (still a pattern from when I worked there) The best part was arriving home and biting into my s'mores cookie to find a giant piece of parchment paper stuck into the cookie! Not on the bottom. Inside. Now again. I worked here almost a year and I know how easy/important it is to check the cookies before putting them out for customers to buy. Sketchy location, the staff literally don't care about food safety, or being polite. And I stand by the fact I should've reported this place long time ago. After seeing all the other negative recent Yelp reviews I can see I'm not the only one who noticed this place isn't getting better. They are nothing special and there are far better bakeries where you can get more than just cookies and freezerburned ice cream that's been sitting in that bin the last month. Horrible service, mediocre cookies, and due to the lack of sterilizing, and lack of changing gloves I would rate their safety during covid pretty low. Not worth it read more

Pretty good cookies, not the best atmosphere. The store is extremely small and very cold (as they also serve ice cream) so don't go in expecting a nice sit down place to enjoy your cookie. I ordered the regular chocolate chip cookie and the rest of my group ordered the double chocolate and peanut butter cookies. I liked my cookie a lot, however it was rather expensive for just a basic chocolate chip, and wasn't really anything special. The cookies are generally pretty decent, and it's nice to be able to grab a cookie or two if you don't feel like making a whole batch yourself. It's pricey for what you get though (the cookies are bigger than average, but you're paying $2+/per), the service is ok (saw one of the employees smoking in the parking lot and then he went back in and got us cookies without washing his hands, he put gloves on, but still), and to echo what others have said they seem to have issues getting your order right if you ask for more that two cookies. Brought a dozen over to a friends house and asked for two of six different kinds and the girl was apparently very confused by the order and I think we ended up with something like 6 chocolate chip instead of having a variety.
