I recently needed a windshield replacement for my 2015 Nissan Rogue after a rock chip quickly…read morespread into a crack well over six inches long. The crack continued growing throughout the day, making replacement unavoidable. I shopped around and received quotes from several companies: +Pulidos Auto Glass: $427.59 +Apple Glass Company: $429.93 +Safelite AutoGlass: $496.54 I ultimately chose Pulidos Auto Glass, and I'm glad I did. They were able to install my new windshield the very next day at the best price. Before scheduling, I asked John Pulido a long list of questions about the windshield manufacturer, DOT certification, acoustic glass, molding, warranty, mobile service, and installation details. Instead of giving vague answers, he answered everything directly and professionally. He even checked my VIN before discussing specifications and confirmed my Rogue required an acoustic windshield. John explained that the replacement glass could come from manufacturers such as Pilkington, PGW, Fuyao, or AGC. After verifying my vehicle, he confirmed he would be installing a Pilkington acoustic windshield, which I was very happy to hear. The installation was performed at my home, which made the entire process incredibly convenient. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, and John actually arrived slightly early. The installation moved quickly and efficiently, and by 12:37 PM he was already calling me to let me know the work was completed. The new windshield included: +Pilkington acoustic glass +DOT-certified construction +Solar band +New molding +Mobile installation +Labor warranty John took care to protect the vehicle's interior and dashboard during the installation and cleaned up everything afterward. There was no mess left behind. He also explained the curing process clearly, including leaving the tape on the windshield for 24 hours before removing it. Most importantly, the finished product has been excellent. There have been no leaks, rattles, wind noise, or any other issues since the replacement. Overall, Pulidos Auto Glass delivered exactly what I was looking for: quality glass, knowledgeable service, mobile convenience, excellent communication, and a fair price. I saved money compared to both Apple Glass and Safelite while receiving a high-quality Pilkington acoustic windshield installed at my home. If you need a windshield replacement in Houston, I would absolutely recommend John Pulido and Pulidos Auto Glass.

Spoke with Nathan. Gave my vin number and license plate to get a windshield replacement. We have…read morean Acura so it can be touchy. We requested a premium Pilkington windshield to help with ADAS calibration, it is confirmed that we will be getting the Pilkington that fits our vehicle and has our vehicle features and they have it. We drive across town to 11020 Katy freeway Houston tx 77043 Suite 217 We show up and it's a bit chaotic there. I ask to see the windshield and they show me the windshield and it's not a Pilkington it's a XYG Chinese knockoff. We decide to leave, enough time wasted. We speak with Nathan He assures me it's a mix up and they can make it right. I agree that mistakes can happen but I already drove across Houston you will have to come to me. He agrees to come to us but we may still have to come back over for calibration, I say fine but you will have to install windshield 1st. Now they start to scramble to find the windshield. At this point they actually try to convince me our windshield does not have an Acoustic layer in it even though we know and Acura has said so. Now my guard is up and I'm asking for the actual part number. He sends it to me by text but again is trying to have a conversation that it doesn't have sound dampening, he claimed he spoke to Acura and again I stuck to my guns. He texts me the list of part numbers and I tell him per options on the vehicle the number Nathan is pushing does not match our vehicle, adaptive cruise control wasn't listed. I told him our vehicle has more options than you are including. He claimed our vin number did not list acoustic layer and he spoke with Acura. Now my guard is up. I told him we have every option on our vehicle except heads up display. He claimed he would call when they had our windshield in stock but offered the AGC replacement since they make OEM. I considered it but I wanted to wait for Pilkington. 1 week later with the weather getting colder, I decide I'm going to replace it with the AGC he suggested. We make the appointment on a Monday for 1st thing in the morning Wednesday per Nathan meaning we are the 1st stop. Well it's Wednesday and 1st thing passed by a long time ago. I call Nathan to find out what's going on at 10:02 AM, he tells me he is going to find out. My wife finally calls him after no returned called at 10:45am he still has no answer. My wife is upset and chews him out, rightfully. He calls me at 10:50am and still has no info and expects me to take his side against my wife then he decides to tell me he is canceling our appointment of 1st thing in the morning at 11am. Do not use unless you want to be charged for a premium windshield but get cheap fragile glass instead, if I didn't request to see it, this would have happened. Do not use unless you like getting abused by a business and then blamed. 1st attempt sure looks like deceptive trade or bait and switch. 2nd attempt was to deliberately wasted our time with the intent to waste more and try to instigate an argument between husband and wife. Seriously? Call Apex Auto Glass, got us in the same day and less expensive for the same glass. Friendly and they actually respect their customers. Install and calibration with a lifetime warranty. 281-815-5281. You have my address, Ranger Lead the Way. Craig

Brought my vehicle in for a simple chip repair under a quarter in size. The technician, Ray, worked…read moreon the glass while it was hot in direct sunlight without warning me of thermal cracking risks or having me sign a standard waiver. During the procedure, the chip expanded into a 13-inch crack running to the glass edge. When I reached out to the owner, Ken, to discuss a resolution, he admitted in writing that glass spreads under heat, but only offered to refund my initial payment. The repair should never have been performed in direct sunlight without cooling the glass or providing a warning. When I simply asked for partial assistance with my insurance deductible to replace the ruined windshield, Ken became hostile, completely reneged on his written offer to refund the original service fee, said the crack is now an act of god and it was going to happen no matter what, and finally called me a "cheap ass" in writing. If Ray had warned me before starting the repair that the chip would convert into a crack no matter what, I would have explored other options including going to my insurance directly. I came here to make a minor chip less visible, and I left with a destroyed windshield that will cost over a thousand dollars to replace. Avoid this business." Update in response to Ken's reply: Ken's public response claims he treated me in a "courteous and kind manner" and that "the offer still stands". This flatly contradicts his private email from last night, where he explicitly wrote: "I will not be offering you your money back or anything else... I'm done trying to accommodate a cheap ass!". Additionally, when I asked him to address the issue in a professional way before I explore other options, he jumped to the conclusion that I was threatening him. I'm attaching screenshot of the email he sent last night. He still refuses to take accountability for working on heat-stressed glass in direct sunlight without warning me beforehand. A reputable ship provides pre-service disclosures so customers can make informed decisions. Calling a repair failure "an act of God" after the damage is done is simply dodging responsibility for poor workmanship.
