$1,200 for a Bak-Flip bedcover on my wife's new Ford F-150. When we arrived back home in Nevada I took the truck to be washed. I had STANDING water in the bed. I called them and a man I won't name said he'd get in touch with his boss. 5 days later I called again.... I'll get in touch with the owner. 4 days later same guy said the boss would chip in $50 for repairs. I took it to 4 Wheel Parts in Vegas for repairs. They do really good window tinting and I would use them again. The reason for one star is because they put a dent in my hood. I did not notice it because it was trying to rain and I was in a hurry to leave before the rain. When I got home I noticed the dent. I had a smashed window from a rock while driving on the highway. I called them and they told me they will order my window and I can bring it in to get fixed the next day. The next day comes around and they call me telling me their manufacturer sent them the window but on the wrong side so they told me I had to wait a few more days for them to order and get the new window. They did give me a small discount so I didn't think anything of it and thought I would be able to get my window fixed before going back to work. The day comes and they call me saying the manufacturer sent them the window on the wrong side AGAIN!! At this point I'm already frustrated and I call them a few days later saying I want my refund since I already paid them half. I had to call them 3 separate times because they kept putting me on hold or not calling me back to give me my refund. Finally on the third call they told me I had to drive to their store to get my refund. They could've just told me this the first time I called!! Overall I had a horrible experience and I would NOT recommend!!! read more

The owner took all his information and said we will order that and have it ready to go when you come in. Appt is for 8AM Saturday morning. Get there, no one shows up until 10 after 8. (Other than another customer) Found out, no parts, workers were not even showing up until 10AM. Guy says he can get it done. (Smh) Come 1PM, fiancée checks on truck, no one has any answers. They call back within 20 mins and tell him they are done. He asks, everything? Alignment too? Answer was NO! (SMH) Fiancée tells him, you have to do an Alignment too when put on a leveling kit. Owner: well we have to send out for that. Fiancée: well get it done, I'm not driving back to another state without that done and you are suppose to do it when you do a leveling kit. Owner calls back close to 5PM for us to drive 45 mins (one way) to FINIALLY pick up the truck!!!... I definitely would NOT send anyone their way!!! read more

I had my windows tinted here 5yrs ago and was told there was a lifetime warranty on all tint jobs. When the tint recently started bubbling I went back to inquire about the warranty but was told the tint I originally purchased did not include a warranty. Even though I was given incorrect info when the work was originally performed, Sam was very nice and honored the warranty and removed and replaced the tint at no cost. 5yrs in the Texas heat will do a number on your window tint so make sure you use this place as they are reputable and actually stand behind their work. Had an unknown rock of some sort hit my windshield while driving on the highway, and left a baseball size crack directly in front of the driver side. I'm pretty anal about my car so I'm not going get it half fixed, i was thinking along the lines of getting my windshield replaced. I figure since I've taken 5 cars here for window tinting, and one Camry for windshield replacement before, why not take my 2010 Lancer GTS to get it's windshield replaced? Dropped it off at 12, and got it back at 4:30 as promised. The guy helping me with the transaction was a guy name Sam, very helpful and nice guy. I'm happy with the results, only thing I wasn't too happy was that they didn't put my school parking sticker back where it was on the passenger side of the windshield..... but I honestly don't think its a good reason to take a star away from this review. I bought a remote start system for my car on eBay. I found Hurricane Auto & Glass on Yelp and liked the 5 Star reviews. Sam quoted the install at $150 and I showed up Monday when they opened at 8am. Sam said his technicians don't arrive until 9am but I waited. There was a problem with the remote start system involving master keys that was in no way the fault of the installers so I had to leave and return at a later date to finish. Before I left I went to hand him my credit card to at least pay for their time. Sam said not to worry about it as the job was not finished, I could pay him when I was satisfied. That caught me off guard but at the same time spoke volumes about this man's integrity and commitment to customer service. I said I might not be able to come back until the next week. He was fine with this. I took care of the key problem at the dealership and brought the car back to finish the install that Thursday morning. His technician had the remote start programmed in about an hour and I was on my way! Very happy with their service. Thanks again Sam! read more

I hate to write bad reviews about businesses but I'm just not satisfied. I hate wasting time on my days off due to the fact that i only have two days off in a month. Im self employed and if i don't work i dont make money ! I took the day off to take care of my windows i had tinted here 3 weeks ago, two of the windows still look bad. The gentleman in the store is a real nice man, but he told me they replaced all the windows except for one and that was a lie. The driver and back passenger windows were not replaced. The only reason i gave them 2 stars was because they tried to make it right! I payed a total of $236 to do my windows here; the breakdown was $189 with taxes the first time and $48 the second time because i got the moonroof window tinted. Now i have to pay someone else to do the other two windows! read more

Rick (the previous owner who still works there) Was a pleasure to work with! I left my car there while I was at work. Rick dropped me off and picked me up when my car was ready! I feel like they need a receptionist who is fluent in English though because I think the new owner isn't very knowledgeable when it comes to understanding the customer. The only thing I didn't care for were the bubbles that were there but went away after two days (which they say is normal) I do have life time warranty which is also great! As I got home from leaving the appointment, I had my purse and umbrella in my arms and the umbrella accidentally shot open and ripped a hole in the new tint! The service was no cost to me, as Gulfgate Dodge uses them for their new vehicle tinting. While I was there, I inquired about a car alarm, & the gentleman there was open, honest, & informed me of why I should or shouldn't install an alarm. I never felt pressured to purchase additional equipment, & was given pros/cons/benefits/liabilities of having an alarm & or motion sensor.
