This is a very small one car at a time shop so you might want to call ahead. The waiting room has snacks and water for you. Who I assume is the owner seems nice. The tech did a good job even taping the window switch and writing the day you could open. Much better dealing with these people compared to the other tint shop I know where the girl is rude and I got blamed for their crappy work. I would definitely come back again if needed. I don't usually leave reviews (you can check my profile... I almost never leave reviews) but I felt I needed to. Mr. Ray and everyone at Applied Window Film Technologies were the definition of professionalism. Right from the start, his quote to get my car tinted was straight-forward and reasonable whereas others were quoting with a built-in up-charge that they said they would "discount" if I came in to get their tint service. I was able to book same-day and bring the car in. While there, Mr. Ray and his team were more than accommodating, even offering to take me to a nearby mall so I could get something to eat (my appointment was at noon). Too often, appointment windows don't mean anything and tasks and services are rarely completed on-time as proposed or promised. But Mr. Ray and his team were there at noon and got to work right away. They suggested the install time would takes up to two hours and guess what? They were right on the money on that as well. Since this was done on a workday, I really appreciated their prompt and accommodating service. Don't waste your money and, more importantly, your time shopping around with other sub-par establishments. I highly recommend this business for window tinting services. We recently had our car windows tinted and appreciate the extra time Carrie spent explaining the different types of window tint. If you're in a hurry, their cozy waiting area features wifi and a comfortable space to continue working. This proved beneficial for the on-the-go professional with a never ending vortex of work. Great experience start to finish! Everyone I interacted with, from Ray the owner, to his service techs had the utmost professionalism. Pricing was great and there was not attempted up-sell to $500 window tint for my 13 year old car like the other guys! (Seriously happened with another company that shall remain nameless ) I am very happy with the new look my old car has and to have some protection from this Texas sun! I called almost every window tint shop around Houston to get a quote because I was looking for a certified Llumar dealer and after evaluating reviews and price I decided on this place. They were not the cheapest nor were the most expensive, I can't remember the exact price but it ended up being really reasonable. There are other places that are cheaper but I didn't want to risk purchasing an expensive tint and getting shoddy work nor did I want to be ripped off. Excellent Service, Mr. Ray will give you a good quote. They used Lumar films and not 3M which are the bad ones to use,they fade away with time. Their work is Lifetime warranted. Go there you'll be happy! I'm posting photos as well. The only shop that place a safety tag as a reminder not to use your windows power switch! I've tried a local place in where they said they knew how to do windows tinted, but they lie they couldn't do them right, besides they were using 3M. I dropped in to take a look at their shop and ended up staying while they applied the tint. Competitive pricing, nationwide warranty on the tint for the life of the ownership of the vehicle. Also a business that's been around in the same location for over 20 years. Very professional. I submitted a request for a callback on Tuesday evening of this week and got a call from the owner, Ray, the next morning. Ray was a pleasure to talk with and was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about window film technology. He asked me several questions about my home and what I wanted my window tinting to accomplish. I really felt comfortable that I was talking to an expert. Ray asked for the measurements of my windows which I gave him and from that he gave me an all-inclusive quote, which was the same as the final invoice. He asked me what my schedule was and I said I was working from home this week. This afternoon two members of his crew arrived, Mike and his son (also Mike) and they showed me samples of the films they recommended. I selected the higher density and solar rejection film and Mike and Son completed the job in a couple of hours. I live on a golf course and leaving my blinds open has always been an issue--not anymore. The installation was flawless.
