Instead of giving vague answers, he answered everything directly and professionally. He even checked my VIN before discussing specifications and confirmed my Rogue required an acoustic windshield. After verifying my vehicle, he confirmed he would be installing a Pilkington acoustic windshield, which I was very happy to hear. The original weather stripping that went around the windshield was old and worn out. The owner was able to improvise with another type of stripping at no additional cost so it would look better. After a month or so I went through a car wash and noticed water was getting in. Also the stripping was coming up. So I called Joe, the owner and asked him to look at it. When I met him for the repair, he said the leak was from the sunroof, NOT the windshield. He went ahead and re-glue the top strip down and assured me it wasn't leaking from anything he did. Well about a month later we had huge rain storms in Houston. And guess what??? Water was still getting in and my floors were soaked! I decided to follow the owner Joe's advice and have the sunroof looked at. I took my car to a BMW master mechanic to have him look at everything. They said it was the windshield and everything else looked fine and were not the cause of the leaks. They suggested I call the person who installed the windshield because they insisted that is where the leaks were stemming from. He said they could fix it but would cost $500!!! Now I am mad because I am getting the run around from everyone. I call Joe at Speedy Auto Glass and insist he come back out for the repair! He said no problem but felt it still wasn't the windshield. I was kind of a jerk about it because my BMW mechanic said he checked everything and came to the conclusion it was the windshield. So I was pretty upset! Well Joe took the high road with me and came to my house to test everything. We wet the car with my hose to try and find the leak. Again he insisted his seals were tight. He said it was getting in some other way. I pleaded with him to please try to find the leak and I would pay him for his time. Joe opened up my car and removed a panel inside near the winshield. They poured water over the sunroof and low and behold he was right!!! Water was streaming from the top of the sunroof down the side of the windshield to the floor. He was right all along and proved it to me!!! He was very nice about it and proceeded to try and clear the drain lines that were plugged. He spent over an hour trying to fix my problem that had nothing to do with his work. He was professional and friendly about it the entire time. He did all he could to prevent water from getting into my car. He said the sunroof may need to be replaced if it continues to leak. But I am sure it will leak a lot less with what he did.
