He told me to my face that he lies to customers. I asked why? He told me he tells them what they need to hear. However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.

I came to yelp and decided to look into A Good Auto Glass. The customer service over the phone and in person was very efficient and friendly. My car is a new model so I was happy to know the shop was able to take me in and do the recalibration that Safelite said I would have to go to the dealer for. The location is in a trafficky area and is a house, so it is easy to miss. The waiting room is small and doesn't look that comfy and accommodating so I was happy Kevin was able to give me a ride home. My replacement had a small blemish but when I called, Kevin told me I could come back in. They were able to clean it up pretty quickly.

The year was 2025 AD (After Dude Love), and my windshield had been repeatedly assaulted by…read morenon-sentient rocks. Mostly from 288, the rainbow road of Houston. Crack upon crack grew from these small wounds, until a replacement was required. I called upon safelite to bring forth a new hope of glass that shall not crack. It took me 3 minutes to schedule that hope through my insurance. On the third day, I looked to the east at dawn, 6am to be specific. Hella great time to have a repair scheduled, no traffic, Uber are cheap, and most humans don't want to be up that early. By 8am, the deed had been done, and my chariot awaited my return. Myra looks brand new. Throughout this quest I received well timed reminders, service updates and a 1 minute checkout. The odds were forever in my favor this day. I was gifted a bottle of their finest glass cleaner as a welcome guest. Very easy process (via insurance) excellent communication, great time slots, and a 2 hour fix.
