However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.

Yelp has a great feature that helps you find a businesses to help with certain needs. I created a project request on Yelp and was expecting to get a response in the morning when shops are open. To my surprise Quick Auto Glass responded to me within 10 mins. They gave me an estimate and the time of their business hours. They open at 8am and I arrived at 8:30. There was only one guy at the shop and he spoke little English but immediately got on the phone and told his partner I was there and gave him my vehicle information. He then told me "window on way" and he started vacuuming up the broken glass and doing the prep work. About an hour later his partner arrived with my window and with the prep work done he was able to install the window in about 10 mins. I was charged the estimated price I was given, plus tax of course. My only complaint is when I got home and was looking over everything I noticed a good amount of glass still under my seat. Other than that it was a great experience.

ALL SAME DAY without an appointment (besides giving a rough ETA when I'd arrive in the same phone call of which I asked for a quote initially). While cost might vary by vehicle's make, model, and year, I paid $139 per window + tax, which I found to be extremely competitive pricing especially given the speed of their work and friendly customer service. I was pleasantly described to receive a clean car without clutter or glass shards upon retrieving my car. If you don't have a ride to pick you up and drop you off, there's a waiting room with comfortable couches and a water station inside. I wouldn't wish car repairs upon anyone, but if you were to need them on the Midtown area, I'd recommend you come here!

I knew exactly where to go -- Need a Fix at Christy's Donuts parking lot. Juan is very honest and gives a proper assessment of your crack and options. To get a drill and fill is roughly $100 and is quick. I will definitely come back here and highly recommend if you want to try to get your crack brushed up instead of replacing the whole windshield.

I came to yelp and decided to look into A Good Auto Glass. The customer service over the phone and in person was very efficient and friendly. My car is a new model so I was happy to know the shop was able to take me in and do the recalibration that Safelite said I would have to go to the dealer for. The location is in a trafficky area and is a house, so it is easy to miss. The waiting room is small and doesn't look that comfy and accommodating so I was happy Kevin was able to give me a ride home. My replacement had a small blemish but when I called, Kevin told me I could come back in. They were able to clean it up pretty quickly.

Danny's work was SLOPPY and REAL BAD!. but Patrick came out to my home and took care of things the RIGHT way! I have learned that whenever if ever I chose to deal with Safelite again, I will definitely chose to have the tech come to my house instead of me going to the shop I'm not sure if the shop was overwhelmed and I had learned that there was no manager at that particular shop, things had gotten somewhat out of hand. Customers were yelling at the techs in which the customer told us to check out windshield before we drove off- I failed to do so. Thanks to Patrick having come to my home after having made MANY phone calls- even to the general store manager and almost to the VP- it was about to go there! Now my car looks presentable again! Booked an appointment online to bring my vehicle in because my car cannot be serviced at my home so…read moreI was instructed to bring it in and I made an appointment for 6 AM to drop it off and Uber to work and I get here at 5:59 and it is currently 612 they are not open and no one's here and when I call customer service it tells me to call back at 8 AM. $1500 for windshield replacement and no one's here.. My appointment was confirmed the day before and still I get here and it's not even open.
