I was pleasantly described to receive a clean car without clutter or glass shards upon retrieving my car. If you don't have a ride to pick you up and drop you off, there's a waiting room with comfortable couches and a water station inside. The response I received was that it was raining "here" and that was why they were waiting. No location, no updated arrival time, and no communication before the appointment time. The issue wasn't the weather. The issue was the lack of communication. A mobile car wash business deals with weather every day. A simple message before the scheduled appointment time would have avoided wasting a potential future lifelong customer's time as this was our first appointment. After I explained that my concern was the lack of communication, I received an "understand" response, but no apology for the lack of notice or communication. As I'm writing this review almost two hours after the appointment time, it still has not rained at the service location. Communication matters.
