I've used Two Men and a Truck four times over the years -- including an out-of-state move from…read moreFlorida to North Carolina -- and always had great experiences until now. Unfortunately, my most recent move in September was the complete opposite. The job was quoted for 4-6 hours (a simple 2-bed, 2-bath move about 5 miles away), but it ended up taking over 12 hours. The movers arrived late, spent long stretches of time standing around or disappearing without explanation, and seemed completely unorganized. By the time they left, I was exhausted, frustrated, and completely disappointed. What should have been a routine move turned into an all-day ordeal caused by poor time management and lack of oversight. To make matters worse, after providing a detailed account and requesting a partial refund, my request was denied, despite the obvious inefficiency and lost time. I've always spoken highly of Two Men and a Truck, but this experience fell far below the professionalism and reliability I've come to expect. I'm extremely disappointed and will be reconsidering whether to use or recommend this company again in the future.

BEWARE: The actual movers were great. No issues with the…read moreguys they sent. THE OFFICE people are liars and scammers. I spoke to an estimator 3 times, and specifically went over pricing. I was promised a rate and an hourly minimum. I ASKED FLAT OUT "Is there extra charges or travel time?" and was assured "No." When the movers got there I looked at the clock and said "Ok its now 9:30, we're starting now?" and they looked me in the eye and said "Yes", and when the bill came it was $300 more that it should have been because they actually started the clock when they left the office (and they went to the wrong address first and charged me for that and their return home.) The office didn't care "it was all there in the contract you signed". SO DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY TELL YOU ON THE PHONE OR IN PERSON. Read every word in the pages of fine print they send you. TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT TRUST. Would never use again.

We had a very disappointing experience with this moving company, especially considering we paid…read morenearly $2,000 for the service. The job was billed hourly, yet it took the team 7 hours to load a 1,000 sq ft home--far longer than expected. However, when we arrived at the new house, everything was unloaded in just one hour, with little care or attention to placement. Items were not put in their designated rooms, rugs were not laid out, and several items we specifically requested to be moved (rugs, wall art, lamps, mirrors, etc.) were left behind entirely. We paid for disassembly and reassembly of furniture, but while they disassembled two beds (a king and a queen), and a sectional they did not reassemble them at the new home. To make matters worse, screws and parts were missing, forcing us to purchase replacements and put the beds back together ourselves late that night. None of the furniture was reassembled, despite this being part of the service we paid for. We felt completely misled about what to expect. One of the movers in particular was unprofessional. He attempted to convince us to get rid of a solid wood dresser because he didn't want to carry it, and it ultimately ended up damaged during the move therefore we had to get rid of it (approx $1,000 piece of furniture). When struggling to disassemble one of the beds, he was tightening screws instead of loosening them and even suggested he would "just trash it" if it were his. There was a clear lack of care, effort, and basic problem-solving. After the move, we reached out to the company to try to resolve these issues. The only resolution offered was $100, which felt extremely inadequate given the cost of the service and the number of problems we experienced. I do want to note that the other mover, Eugene was professional, hardworking, and respectful throughout the process. Unfortunately, his efforts were overshadowed by the overall experience. Our realtor with Stephen Cooley was notified about this experience and given the 2.5 stars of this company, the Stephen Cooley admin team removed Two Men and a Truck Rock Hill from their master recommendations list. All in all, we felt taken advantage of and would not recommend this company.

My son was on a 4th floor apartment the furthest you could be from any door with a move to another apartment complex. I closed my apple watch steps and workout ring more than TWICE today if that gives you any idea... Jordan, Pierce and Kyle have to be the hardest working AND the darn nicest movers in the entire universe. Not one thing was broken, not one wall or piece of furniture was scratched. And they were so kind and cheerful- like how in the tarnation could anyone be so polite and happy while lifting heavy yhings in sweltering Columbia heat all freaking day?? And yet- they absolutely were. We ended up hiring these guys after our original move in date was botched and it was honestly a blessing in disguise. If you need anything moved- call them. We spent the evening cleaning and unpacking and I wished I could have kept those boys with us. They are THAT good! I owe the friend who recommended them a drink, or maybe a kidney or something if they ever need one because that was hands down the best recommendation I have ever been given! #bestmoversever #gamecockmovers #junioryearloading

They lost all the pieces to my 3 dresser mirrors, they had them mixed up with the wrong dressers and time was ticking. They left some furniture peices at the loading address so they couldn't install 1 set. They were nice young men but they did not have the strength to take some of my furniture upstairs. They really struggled. When reinstalling some of the furniture pieces, they were confused on how to put them back together. I called the manager and told him my concerns that these guys may need one other person. But he said he would have to charge me, instead of just satisfying the customer. It got very frustrating for me as a customer. I will never hire these guys again!

I will say that Seth and Ben were nice enough, even though they did all of the work, but calling the third guy a man is a crime. he felt sick during the move and we needed to give him two cans of soda for him to feel better. despite being quoted for 6 hours, we were billed for over 7 hours because they said the clock starts and ends when the crew gets back to their office. this should be included into estimate so the consumer knows in advance how much it will cost. what if they stopped somewhere on the way? there's no way for us to know- shady business practice number 2. so the expected happened and of course some of our things were damaged- a little scuff here and there can be expected, sure. However, TWO of our beds were DAMAGED so much that for one of them they had to take the piece back to be repaired in their warehouse and the second piece that was damaged - the guy had to come to our house to repair (VERY poorly i might add!!!!). these were brand new, very expensive beds. I advise anyone to think three or four times before hiring this business. you will be paying for service you won't receive ( they sent two men and a baby to move our house) and you will have to hound them to get repairs done for the damage they caused. they also charged me $25 for a box for our large tv- then took the box back with them...what? didn't i pay for that?
