Her uniforms have been tailored to fit her like a glove but have enough give to last her the entire year. She has sensory issues and hates certain closures so he's also taken extra care to add a heavy duty metal clasp on the side which has been much easier for her to get in and out of. I recently had my stepfather go get a suit tailored and Saeid completely transformed his this for him. He's in his 80s and he's never had a suit tailored like that in his lifetime. I highly recommend him for his suit tailoring skills. Any comments about his store hours - I've never had an issue with this. However, he is the only one working at the shop. There's no way for someone running a shop solo to never be able to leave. Not realistic. Just call ahead to make sure he's in or make an appointment.

It was about 1.5 weeks before I had to leave back to CA for a wedding and I needed my bridesmaid dress tailored. I called around a few places and came across Ace Alterations. From the moment Kim picked up the phone, I knew I wanted to give her a try! She was super sweet and very reasonably priced compared to other places. It's a little shop in the Handel's/Trader Joe's plaza. Upon arrival she was really friendly greeting me and even remembered I was the one who called earlier. I showed a picture of how the dress should look and Kim did a great job giving her input as to how much I should shorten the bridesmaid dress. She ended up charging less than what she quoted on the phone which was really nice!! The turn around time was quick and she finished before the estimated finish date. Upon pickup of the dress, everything fit perfect and it was the exact length I wanted! Kim did an amazing job with the alterations, the seams looked flawless. I am glad I found her and will look forward to bringing more clothing for her to alter!

When I told her I wanted a slit, she pinned it conservatively so she wouldn't make it too high, then had me come back to try it out and we decided to make the slit go higher. She also educated me on the different bustle types and gave me great recommendations for everything. It was all done by the 3rd visit and the turn-around times were only days apart! The pricing was totally reasonable too. I was really nervous about finding someone I could trust with a very special task and I highly recommend. She's knowledgeable, talented, and sweet! (Pictures show after purchase, after alterations, and after the altar) ***I do have a suggestion however! After I checked the dress off my list, it stayed in the garment bag and I didn't look at it for a while until 2 weeks before the wedding and noticed it looked super dirty, so I was calling dry cleaners to see how fast they could clean a wedding dress and stressing out, but then I finally just used a lint roller...the dress had picked up a lot of fuzzies and some dog hair from being dragged on the floor, but it all came off! Just had a mini heart attack, so my suggestion is to lint roll the dress at the end :p

The owner was very nice, had a small dressing room, and a space with a full length mirror to make sure things fit right. She even has a pair of shoes with heels you can use if you didn't bring any. The store is small, but it's just right for her business. I tried on my jeans as soon as I got home (I'm sure I could have tried them on there, but I didn't have time), and they fit great! You would never know they had been tailored, let alone something I picked up at Goodwill.
