Abby always does a thorough, professional, knock-out job. Been going to her for over 20 years.

WORST customer service in the valley. Expect to be judged and overcharged. I brought in a coat to be tailored, and she looked me up and down before saying, 'Ugh, but why did you buy a big coat?' It was so uncomfortable. Then she quoted $75 for a simple alteration. I've been to many tailors before, but this one was by far the worst. read more

I brought in two polyester polo shirts to have altered. The results were excellent. They looked as if they came directly from the factory. Maxi even used the "stretchy" thread. I would highly recommend. read more

I wanted to try a different tailor nearby to line sleeves of four nicer dresses/tops. This place had good reviews. I was quoted prices ($35 for each item which was expensive) and a week for the alterations to be finished She did a good job. I will probably bring more items here. read more

I had such a great experience at Abby's. I needed my ski pants fixed in the same day and Maxi was able to do it in just a couple of hours! I went to other places and they were going to have me wait multiple days. I definitely recommend going to her! read more

Abby is crabby!! ZERO customer service and a bit pricey for what I had done. Don't recommend.

Maxi, at Abby's Alterations, does the absolute best job no matter the task. She works with you and will also tell you what she can or can't do. That transparency is so valued when it comes to being taken care of. I trust her with my clothes and won't go to anyone else. I'm very tall so I have to buy large clothes, she makes them fit me perfectly. Love Maxi! read more

I work in vintage and valuable designer clothing and I use Abby's Tailoring for EVERY job I have. I have come to Maxi with items completely falling apart and she has renewed them with a level of expert that I am not used to seeing on the finest garment. I have seen others reviews on her personality but I believe maybe these people have the expectation to be waited on hand and foot? I'm not sure but I come to Maxi for her artful eye and experience and treat her with respect and she treats me with equal respect. read more

We took our daughter there to alter her prom dress. The day we were to pick it up, we called in advance to make sure it was ready. Maxi had forgotten about the dress but said she could have it done soon. When it was ready, she did not allow her to try it on but rather rushed us out of the shop. All we needed was the hem and straps adjusted. After we got home, the dress did not fit at all. Some thing else had clearly been altered and when I called Maxi, she was rude, condescending and implied this was our fault. We have prom the next day and now need to go dress shopping tonight, and hope that we can find something that will work and not need alterations. I will NEVER go back to this shop. Maxi was beyond rude. read more

The lady who I worked with here was one of the most rude, condescending people I've ever encountered in a professional setting. From our first interaction she made it clear that she didn't have time for me, and I was an inconvenience for her. Absolutely terrible customer service. If you use Abby's Tailoring, you'd better hope they get it exactly right the first time, because they have absolutely no desire to listen to their customer or be accommodating in any way. She'll literally cut you off if you spend more than one or two sentences trying to tell her what you want your clothes to look like. If you want someone to listen to you, go somewhere else. read more

I want to give 10 stars. I called everywhere to find a next day service. I found Abby's. She assured me my son's pants would be hemmed ontime for his last minute knowledge of his graduation ceremony. After explaining why I brought the pants in last minute, she was understanding and even congratulated my son, saying the pants would look better on him if they were tapered too. After leaving, I felt relieved but nervous about the time crunch. I received a call within two hours, telling me they were done because of our situation. He had the pants in time and they fit great! The confidence he had was evident in all his pictures! THANK YOU! read more

They've done a great job for me when I need my pants tailored. They are always attentive and I feel like the pricing is good for the value.

Maxine is AWESOME!!! She does an impeccable job! She is to the point, get the job done. If you are looking for a perfectionist with a good eye, Maxine at Abby's Alterations is your gal. read more

Once and never again. This lady is so rude! The hem she put in my dress fell out before I even wore the dress for the occasion so I had to go back and deal with her again. She barely wanted to fix her own failed work. Maybe there's a cultural barrier, not sure, but I would never go back. read more

This place was amazing! I called all around town and every alteration place would not do same day alterations! Maxi was sweet on the phone and said she would be able to fit me in. From the very minute I walked in till I left she was so kind. Very fast and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend this alteration shop! read more

I brought my dress here to have the waist taken in, and I got my dress back and it fits perfect! I have never had a dress altered before, and this was just such a great experience. She could see me the same day and she fixed it within a week, and I would highly recommend this location for any kind of alterations. I am definitely going to be coming back here for many more projects! read more

I was having a 20th anniversary party and at the last minute I decided i needed my dress altered. Abby's alterations did a great job on a bit of a complicated dress to alter very happy with service I received and will be going back for more alterations. read more

Maxi was very helpful in measuring me for a uniform that was in severe disarray due to another "tailor". I am very body concious (sp) and she made me feel comfortable in her decisions about how my pants should fit. They dont take credit cards, and you have to pay up front, that freaked me out a little, but she did a great job! i would recommend her to anyone needing some alterations. read more

Maxi was wonderful! My wedding dress needed a lot of alterations and she did them flawlessly! She was able to hem the bottom of the dress to my height, bring in the waist a couple inches, tighten the wide shoulder straps, and add a bustle in a matter of days. She was kind, responsive, and professional! I paid $160 for all of these alterations on a designer gown. I would definitely recommend Maxi and Abby's Alterations! read more

I called her to get a price quote and she was not nice on the phone. I understand that price can vary depending on the feature of the clothes but you can at least tell me the price range without being snappy and short. Based on the phone conversation, I lost interest in going. read more
