When I tell you this was the best massage I've ever had and I'm not exaggerating. Out of a scale of 1-10, I give Andrew a 100. Andrew was very attentive to my wife and my needs. He quickly set up and was ready to get to work. I was so relaxed, I dozed off and heard myself snoring and woke myself up. lol. My wife also said this was the best massage she's ever had. I surprised my wife with the massage session so she was very pleased with the session. We were both ready for a nap after our massage. I noticed that the ladies (Therapists) did not have a receptionist the times I visited and they lock the door because there is no one there to handle walk-ins. I am assuming the locking of the shop is for safety reasons when there is no receptionist on duty. I will return here the next time I'm in Houston. I tried to book in mid-December, but the website indicated no availability, so I contacted the company by phone directly. They had no available openings until the end of January. After having waited 6+ weeks for an appointment AND receiving both a confirmation e-mail and text message the day before - the therapist (Andre Turner) called me 6 HOURS before the session to cancel! Specifically, he said: (1) that even though I had an appointment that he would not be in the office that day; (2) that he was fully booked for the month of February; and (3) that I should just request a refund from Groupon. He gave me no opportunity to reschedule (not that I would have). I found him to be short and curt - with no apology whatsoever for cancelling me on super short notice. I think that he (like many other small businesses) signed up for the Groupon promotion and was overwhelmed with the response. But instead of admitting such, he simply "dumped" my appointment on a same day basis with very little notice. No future business for this guy!

I had been long overdue for a massage (Pre Covid for sure) and had been looking for months for a place with great reviews. I actually found TMM via a Groupon, but I looked at Yelp and Google reviews before I purchased. I did like that I was able to schedule the appointment as soon as I purchased the Groupon, but I guess the offer was so popular that the Groupon scheduler couldn't keep up with the demand. Thankfully, Thaddeus personally called to inform me of the error and the appointment availability. Since I kind of had an ideal time for the appointment, I changed to a different Saturday. I received confirmation of my appointment as well as reminders as the appointment date came closer. Despite receiving a very detailed email about the location, procedures, and protocols in place at TMM, I still ended up arriving 2 minutes after my appointment time because I passed up the address (it does sneak up on you). From TC Jester, you can't really see anything that looks like a building until you pass it up (I am also directionally challenged, so arriving 2 minutes late is pretty good for me)! Honestly, I have always had female therapist (not by preference, just happened that way). I have no objection to a male therapist--it's just new people that I have to adjust to. I respected that Thaddeus discussed with me my preferences for the massage and things I didn't desire. He even emphasized that if anything didn't feel comfortable to inform him. I really appreciated that since it had been so long since I had a massage. I felt no qualms about the massage and rightly so because I felt all tension and stress leave my body after this session. From the warm temperature of table (which Thaddeus checked with me to make sure it was good before he started the session), to the warm oil that meticulously and intentionally eased all the muscles and stress with each stroke of the massage, I was in heaven. I asked for the Swedish versus the deep tissue, so my entire body received the benefits of all that was before mentioned. The music was very calming but not too soft and tranquil that you fall asleep. The icing on the cake--walking out your session with Thaddeus waiting up front to meet you holding a champagne flute of H20 to remind you that water is essential after your massage session. I'm sure I had the biggest smile on my face because gosh--this was a phenomenal massage--one of THE BEST I've ever had.
