I had been long overdue for a massage (Pre Covid for sure) and had been looking for months for a place with great reviews. I actually found TMM via a Groupon, but I looked at Yelp and Google reviews before I purchased. I did like that I was able to schedule the appointment as soon as I purchased the Groupon, but I guess the offer was so popular that the Groupon scheduler couldn't keep up with the demand. Thankfully, Thaddeus personally called to inform me of the error and the appointment availability. Since I kind of had an ideal time for the appointment, I changed to a different Saturday. I received confirmation of my appointment as well as reminders as the appointment date came closer. Despite receiving a very detailed email about the location, procedures, and protocols in place at TMM, I still ended up arriving 2 minutes after my appointment time because I passed up the address (it does sneak up on you). From TC Jester, you can't really see anything that looks like a building until you pass it up (I am also directionally challenged, so arriving 2 minutes late is pretty good for me)! Honestly, I have always had female therapist (not by preference, just happened that way). I have no objection to a male therapist--it's just new people that I have to adjust to. I respected that Thaddeus discussed with me my preferences for the massage and things I didn't desire. He even emphasized that if anything didn't feel comfortable to inform him. I really appreciated that since it had been so long since I had a massage. I felt no qualms about the massage and rightly so because I felt all tension and stress leave my body after this session. From the warm temperature of table (which Thaddeus checked with me to make sure it was good before he started the session), to the warm oil that meticulously and intentionally eased all the muscles and stress with each stroke of the massage, I was in heaven. I asked for the Swedish versus the deep tissue, so my entire body received the benefits of all that was before mentioned. The music was very calming but not too soft and tranquil that you fall asleep. The icing on the cake--walking out your session with Thaddeus waiting up front to meet you holding a champagne flute of H20 to remind you that water is essential after your massage session. I'm sure I had the biggest smile on my face because gosh--this was a phenomenal massage--one of THE BEST I've ever had. The office is a little strange since it is a very cramped suite within the professional building that you have to dial in to enter, but after entering, I was still open minded. Our msssueses did not have any particular uniform, but were quite muscular and almost intimidating to look at until with full friendlyness, they started to help us get settled and offered cold beverages while we filled out our paperwork. Next, we got into the private massage room, which was quite clean, pleasant, and included soothing music. The air conditioning was not a problem at all, as the room was a comfortable temperature, and they had plenty of fans that could be set up if you were too warm. The massages, themselves, were incredible. We both had full body with hot towels, and what an experinece it was. My masseuse was incredibly talented at finiding and working through any knots or tension I had, and my boyfriend had the same experience with his. The service was good through November, but apparently they stopped honoring gift certificates all of the sudden from Groupon. I do not recommend this business and I am frustrated with the management I received from their employee named Ed. Take your business elsewhere.
