Steffon comes to my home to provide an estimate for installing 9 CCTV cameras. After viewing the…read morecameras, the Cat6 cable, the junction boxes and the connectors, he states that all I need to provide is 14 pieces of molding that he needs to cover the cables running through the walls, up to the recorder. He states that other than the molding that would cost me extra, his own Labor quote for installing 9 cameras would be $1,000. However, as a bonus, he would install an additional camera for the same price. This was a fraudulent quote from this guy because, on the day of installation, he comes there and states that I have to pay him an additional $345 to buy his own materials such as cable, junction boxes etc. Now, I had no option but pay him the extra $345 - failing which, the installation will not happen for another week. Now comes a new falsehood. After telling me that the exterior cameras would be done through concealed wiring by snaking the cables through and between the walls, he can only do the ugly molding also on the exterior cameras! I had no option but to agree to this as well. The worst part of hiring this fellow came 2 days later when I found water seeping through the Attic because, THIS GUY, STEFFON LEFT THE ATTIC LID TO THE ROOF OPEN! and when I asked him to come and close it, he states that he is at work at some other place so he is not going to close the Open Attic! Do Not give business to this man who is totally dishonest and unreliable.
