When a garage says they can do something for a customer, it should be done right the first time and when it's not, give the customer a discount. I took my car to have the front grill replaced and they did that but forgot to plug in the fog lights. This meant I had to go back the next day and wait for an hour before it was completed after it took them 2 hours the day before. When I asked for a discount, the manager told me they don't work with customer parts and there would be no money back. Why did they take me in the first place? Customer service is not a top priority for them, just getting our money is. I asked for 10% back, that would be $38 to make a customer happy. read more

Made an appointment to have the muffler welded to the exhaust pipe. I was concerned about the clamps used to connect the muffler to the exhaust pipes not holding up over time. When I arrived I was told they would not weld the pipe because they did not install the exhaust system. Those working at the front desk need to know the company policies. If you need a simple exhaust repair and Midas did not install it, go elsewhere. read more

Roaches honest establishment. I went to Walmart to get a oil change they wouldn't touch my car because they said I had a oil pan gasket leak. I came in to Midas and they respectfully disagreed they saw me immediately looked underneath the car and found that the problem actually was a oil pressure switch that needed to be replaced. Not only that they actually invited me in the shop and allowed me to look underneath the car myself and see it for myself I really appreciated that. They didn't have the part but send me on my way free of charge and suggested that I buy the part directly from the dealer. At the end of the day honest mechanic is an Angel of GOD. I went to have my AC looked at since it hadn't been working, they said all I needed was my AC recharged which cost me over $250 and they had my car for over 8 hours. It stopped working the next day so I took it somewhere else and they told me it was obviously the compressor and that recharging the ac did nothing to help it. When I dropped the car off my dad went with me and they were super polite and explained what the inspection would entail but when I went to pick it up on my own they took a long time to come help me, even looked at me for a while before coming to greet me and rushed me out the door once I paid. read more

Vehicle would not start. Had vehicle towed to the Parker, Co location. After diagnostic test it was confirmed that the Starter needed replacement. Was told approximately $650 on the phone. After work was completed the charge to replace the Starter with labor came to $981.56. Labor and shop fees totaled $223.98, the part was $702.99. The "Starter" retails at automotive stores for less that $300. The total cost should have not been than $600. I had a great experience with another Midas shop in Littleton, CO and was expecting a similar experience. I was obviously taken advantage of and will not return to another Midas again. read more

Got a quote from midas to get brakes and rotors changed on my audi. initially i was quoted $850 and when i went to get the job done, i was told wrong parts were ordered and the final amount i paid was $1450 , 600 dollars above what i was quoted, i had quotes from Audi for $1250 to do the same job , so i was essentially conned and fraud was done. I went to Midas because my car was making a squealing noise. They told me it was the AC compressor paid 961dollars to get the work done. The next day the squealing started again I went back to midas they told me I needed a new Idler pulley paid for the work 200 dollars. The next day the same noise was still there I took it back to Midas this time they said the noise was coming from my power steering pump wanted to charge me 500 dollars to fix it. So long story short they tried charging me over 1600 dollars within in two weeks and nothing was fixed will never go there again. I felt the last repair should have been free since they never fixed anything in the first place. read more

The last few times I have come here though, I have waited an hour each time. I have always appreciated this place's honest employees and I hope that continues. We needed a new battery for our 2001 3 series BMW. We had been given so much misinformation about the need to have the BMW towed into a shop for a dead battery replacement, and to have the car computer programmed before we contacted Midas and spoke with Manny. Manny helped us clarify that the 2001 BMW computer did not require programming after installing a new battery, and had a compatible battery available in the store. When we arrived with the dead battery, Manny was very polite and efficient in completing the sale. He even carriy the new battery out to our car, and took the dead battery back to store. Last Friday morning I was getting ready to for a 500 mile road trip. I planned to leave around noon. At 10:00 am I decided to check the oil and noticed that I had no coolant. :( It was Memorial Day weekend and Midas was busy but Zac took pity on me and squeezed me in. Turns out I just needed a new radiator cap and I was good to go. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left was about 25 minutes. I've been here several times for oil changes. Though I haven't been here for any other car repair (knock on wood), I have been impressed with their service, speed, price, and honesty. In October, I went in for another routine oil change ($20 with coupon) and mentioned that it had probably been a while since my air filter had been changed. I asked them to change it. When I returned to pick up my car, I was told that they checked my air filter and it still looked good, so there was no need to replace it yet. 5 points for honesty!
