I was on vacation from Florida when the "tire pressure low" light on the instrument panel came on. I stood out in the pouring rein and verified that all four tire pressures were low. Pulled into Midas and they immediately serviced all four tires to factory recommended levels. We were in and out in ten minutes. They were polite, friendly, and efficient, and they didn't charge for the service. Definitely my goto place for auto service the next time I'm in town. read more

know what you are getting a set of cheap brake pads about$30 and they will charge you $300 if you are lucky and they do not try to sell you other stuff then they will say we give you lifetime warranty after a short time your brakes goes bad and they will give you a free $30 pads again but charging you $185 at least for labor that is how they roll better go to dealership a get a quality brake service ...more to come read more

Several years back had the right bearings done on my truck. Expensive. A few years later had to have it re-done. thx

Went here for back brakes and rotors and were the cheapest in Orange, and I called 6 other places. The whole thing with new pads and rotors came in under 300 after tax which most other places were quoting me 330+ before tax. The guys knew what they were talking about and didn't try to tell my blinkerfliud was low or any additional hassle. Give them a call, great people. Right next to a freeway so it's really easy to get to as well. read more

Really disappointed after taking our beloved CR-V to this place for an oil change. We were going out of town and needed an oil change that was overdue, so we decided to take it here as a last resort. We got the coupon from the website so we could save some money on the oil change, so the price was good but that was it. Don't believe that the this place opens at 7:30am because nobody showed up until 8am. I drive by this place everyday and I have seen many people waiting outside after 7:30am. They brought up a couple of things to our attention, which we appreciated. However, my father-in-law worked on the car days afterwards (to fix our AC) and he noticed a few things that were off and he could tell that they were new. Firstly, the hose to the air intake was ripped and it got covered up with electrical tape. Then, the cap to the windshield wiper fluid was broke and (again) it was covered with electrical tape. While we understand that accidents happen, we don't appreciate not being told about them which is made worse by trying to hide them. We are very disappointed because we wanted to like this place as it is close home, but this experience has put a sour taste in my mouth. I won't be coming back here nor would I recommend it. read more

In a nutshell, this place did an honest job, and I'm definitely going to be back here. Came in with no appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation, and had to wait for an hour or so while the mechanics finished up a few other cars before me. No problem there. I had work to do anyways. The workers that I talked to were all very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. In fact, one woman had been stranded there because her car had a whole host of problems, and the mechanic came out multiple times to the waiting room to explain exactly what was going on, even bringing out certain parts to show her what was problematic. He was even willing to go out and drive to another Midas store to pick up a part that he currently didn't have in stock. Pretty decent customer service I'd say. Anyways, the mechanics did an honest job of changing my oil and rotating my tires. I actually watch these places rotate tires and change oil because I've been shafted before from a couple places. Oh, and the waiting room could use a little TLC though. Everything seemed super old. Buying a nice flat screen and playing some TV wouldn't hurt. Or maybe even some music? Still, no big complaints from me! Recommended! read more

Good: Walter was good at the desk. The guy actually working on the car was actually working (I could see from where I was sitting). Everything was done in about an hour. My oil change and tire rotation was only $82. It's normally around $100-120 for my car ('99 bmw 328is). Bad: Hours are 7:30-6:00, but I showed up at 7:45 and waited until 8:00 for someone to get there. I don't know if he actually changed my filter. I saw him struggling with something under the car while it was raised, and then just lowered it again, put the oil in, did the inspection/etc. He could have just been tightening it, but idk, I never saw anything come down/get put up - so I won't dock a star. read more

Wow! Amazing staff and hard working as well. I called in just a few minutes before closing time and they did what they had to do get my oil changed in a timely manner! If you ever decide to come here, ask for Walter! He really did all he could to assist me in make my visit a pleasant occasion, I'm surprised he doesn't own the place yet. read more

Don't come here with any coupons....because these guys will said "it's a 3 hour wait..." what is the point of giving out a coupon when you can't use it? I understand there are cars waiting too....but 3 hours plus wait is a ridiculous... so then I schedule an appointment with them.. and the guy said 3 hours wait still. with jiffy lube, I bring in a coupon they have no problem getting me in with a reasonable time. I wanted to make Midas my permanent place to get my oil change done, since I work right around the place... but this place is too shady for me.. so no thank you. read more

What can I say.... This place is dope of course I'm giving them a 5-Star, the whole staff are cool cats. Very helpful they go above and beyond, shit... Next time I drop in for another maintenance on my vehicle I'm throwing them a keeger bash on me "Party at Midas" #whereyouat *. These guys know what's up, this businesses has an outstanding customer service, I appreciate thier honesty and thier thrive to keep thier customers happy. They should change thier slogan to "Midas.. The Ritcheus Bay For All Vehicles". I recommend this business for all humans , give this place a whirl people you won't be disappointed. read more

Great shop prices are great guys are very informative and friendly I will now bring all my families vehicles here!!!

The Midas that I normally visit for my brakes closed. So I looked up the next closest one and this location was it. I received the best service from Midas that I ever have before. John was very accommodating, informative, and I feel very honest. Sometimes you go to places and you can't help but think if you're getting true information and honest work. I feel that John and his team don't recommend things just because. I went in to replace my brakes and couldn't be any happier with the service and work done at this location and most specifically the friendliness of John! read more

Best experience with a car service! Great communication and fixed my brakes before I ran into a serious problem. Thank you John!!! Highly recommend this place read more

So my car is finally ready after a simple rear brake job. They give me the keys, and as I open my car I noticed a hole in the upholstery of my driver's seat (it had been moved by a mechanic). It was not there when I dropped off the car. The manager came out, inspected it, and said that "there is no proof that the hole wasn't there before." And went on to say how the upholstery was worn. I could call back tomorrow and complain, but he would do nothing. During that time he was telling me this, a Midas mechanic was pulling out the car next to me. It hit my door in front of the manager. He looked at the door, there was no damage, and said there is nothing he will do for me, and I'm welcome to complain all I want. This is the treatment I get after a $200 brake job? If you value your car at all, don't take it to Midas. Note: 3 days later the manager called me, and offered me discounts for any repair in the future if I took it to a location further away. As much as I appreciate this, there are other repair shops closer whom do not have the unprofessional-ism of the Orange Midas. read more

John was able to help me get the serpentine belt fixed when I got my oil change, and even worked to get me discounts I desperately needed in order to get it done! He was kind and helpful in every way, and I'll definitely be coming back here for as long as I live in the area! read more

Had my vehicle towed in due to it not starting. Jon and Carlos were able to get me right in. We initially thought it was the starter that was causing the problem. After a few hours of trouble shooting it was determined that there was an issue dealing with the transmission. They do not customarily do transmission work so they were able to get my vehicle drivable. I went to another auto shop to get the problem fixed and the mechanic there said that whatever Carlos and Jon did actually fixed the issue. A huge relief. I came back to this Midas the next day for an oil change. I believe that good customer service deserves repeat business. read more

I may have written a previous review of this Midas repair shop but I need to AGAIN give them major props on the repair and customer service they continually give! I had my AC unit go off on a busy morning and couldn't get my Hummer in there until almost noon. John greeted me by name and I explained the issue and left it with him. He said he'd call with estimate. He did call a short time later and had found the problem. He said he would have the car done by 5:30pm! Someone tell me a dealer could do this! Yeah I thought so. NOT! I picked up my car and all was well. John is really nice, very low key and very knowledgeable. He strives to do the best job he can for you. Midas, he deserves a raise. This shop defines customer service and follow thru. Many places could take a lesson. I have a Hummer so I wouldn't trust it with just anyone. But I totally trust it with Midas. read more

Awesome service! Johnny the manager always helpful on my services. I've had my AC, radiator, and other services here. They're fast, and prices are fair. Highly recommend them. read more

Just dropped of the car for breaks. My hubby is an Uber driver and goes through break pads like every 3 months. I appreciated that John said what we needed to do and what could wait. I love the honesty and intergrity of the guys and I appreciate the speed the work is done with. We will be back! read more

I've been using this Midas for eight years, first with Walter as the manager and now John (Or Jon, sorry, don't remember how it's spelled). Both were wonderful to work with. They know me by name and by my car, and don't mind taking the time to explain in-depth how my car functions and what its current issues are. They are very thorough and willing to take a second look at an issue if it persists. I've had numerous repairs and services done, everything from oil changes up through catalytic converter replacements, and never had any trouble at all. One thing that really makes them stand out is that they are willing to explore different solutions to a problem (does the part need replacing, would a used/refurbished part be sufficient or does it need a new part, can it be fixed if it's repairable, etc.) depending on your situation. They're also very upfront about their capabilities and what repairs they can or can't repair or replace. Pros: Honest and friendly employees, high quality of work. Reasonable and competitive prices, always upfront about how much labor and parts will cost. Take good care of their repeat customers. Cons: They're a relatively small shop, and can get busy. If possible, I highly recommend making an appointment in advance. Also (more of a problem with Orange than Midas) this location is only accessible on Chapman Ave going East. If you're on Chapman Ave going West, you'll have to make a u-turn, which can be frustrating depending on traffic. read more

my mother brought her vehicle for a simple oil change. turns out they didn't tighten the drain bolt to it would leak oil and thankfully my mother realized before the engine seized. once we brought it back, they still had the audacity to tell us they weren't going to charge us to fix it . read more

I am not exactly sure why there is not a place for a ZERO on here. This place was HORRIBLE. Not only was their manager John a total flake, he ended up being rude after blowing me off for an entire month. I brought my car in, he said he could fix it, but had to order the part. He told me that the part would take 8 days to be delivered. After no call in day 8, I called only to be told that the part never came in and would be another week. John then tried to tell me that he had not received any parts for his entire shop. I waited another week, then finally after the 3rd week of lame excuses I went somewhere else. I called and told him that I had gone somewhere else and they ordered the part and had my car fixed all in the same day. Hmmm. Weird. But the real piece of work was when John rudely told me that he did me a favor by telling me what was wrong with my car in the first place. This place was a total joke and John fits right in. read more

This guys are great. Alex is the best. Super helpful, and very informative. I'll come back here every time.

Had an appointment here for 11 this morning, got here and only had to wait a few minutes which was very nice. The guy at the front desk recommended a good place to get lunch while I waited, was super nice and polite! Before I left I inquired about them fixing my whole front passengers head light (the whole set) from an accident I had previously gotten into so he said he would check into to see how much it would be for them to install it. Left to get something to eat, when I got back an hour later my oil was changed and they installed the set for me with no extra charge!!! What a nice group of young men they got here! Ill definitely come back to this location. read more
