I came in for an oil change early on a Friday. Wasn't too busy, and the staff was especially friendly. They told me how long it would take and were pretty much right on. They use Mobil 1 synthetic which is great and their oil filters are great too. They were true professionals. read more

I came here for an oil change. The guy at the front desk named Walter is so kind and welcoming. He explains everything very nice and clear for me to understand. Well, I do ask him a lot of questions and he did not seem annoyed at all. Also, the other man that's fixing my car was very observant. He checked all over my vehicle and told me about my windshield wiper problem. Thank you Midas at Chapman! I would love to come back here again. Best service I've got so far! read more

This is the only place I can count on for consistency when it comes to car repair! Walter is always timely in returning my calls, and is always able to answer my questions about any issues that arise with my car. The team is educated about numerous makes and models, and proficient in working on an array of vehicles. Alex has been working on my car for 2+ yeaes, and he has always delivered on the Midas promise! I am very pleased with both customer service and quality of work at this location:) read more

Walter is the best!!!! They really take care of me before going on my trip.

I just took my 2004 volvo s80 for a check up. Turns out my car needed some work done. They recommend me to get my timing belt change, timing belt tensioner, serpentine belt. I was given a great price and they did an excellent Job. My car has been driving good ever since. I defiantly recommend This Midas. Techs really know there stuff and the Service Writer was very knowledgeable and patient on explaining why i needed this services on my car. Good Job Guys, Keep up the Good Work!! read more

I cam to Midas for an oil change earlier today. While I was there the mechanic working on my car, Alex, discovered that a mouse had been living in my car. He replaced the air filters and cleaned out the mouses nest! Everyone was really nice there and very diligent in the service that they provide. read more

I came in for an oil change. They were super busy today and I didn't have an appointment but they took me in right away and they got my oil change done in like half an hour. They are really accommodating here and their prices are really good too. I will be coming back read more

Went later in the afternoon for an oil change no wait. The people there were all nice and helpful they found some problems with my car gave me estimates and all free except the oil change which was like $20. Didnt pressure me to buy things like at other places. read more

My wife brought in her BMW 325i for an oil change and tire rotation. She told them that she was having an electrical issue and that the A/C was acting weird (turning on and off randomly). They told her they didn't do electrical work but they would get the oil change and tires taken care of and check for any obvious electrical problems. I brought her to the shop to pick up the car and noticed (from my truck) that there was a wire hanging down in the front. Upon further inspection I noticed that there was absolutely no evidence of them rotating the tires. There was brake dust all over the tires and I could see where they had taken off the cap to check the air pressure but there was no way they rotated them. There would have been missing dust from the nuts on the tire and from handling the tires. I had the manager come out and look. I asked him how on earth they missed this wire hanging down from the front if they had the tires off of the car to rotate them? He acted like a 15 year old and kept saying "I told my guy to do it so he did it!" We went back and forth and he kept saying "I'll have my guy just do it again in front of you". The tread in front was noticeably more worn than in back and he had told my wife, over the phone, that it was the exact opposite as if they had done the rotation. If this dude would have just said, "yeah man it looks like we missed that" I would have been fine, but this guy just kept lying to my face. I have had some great service here before but the dude that helped us, P. Lee, is a piece of trash. He will lie through his teeth to get you out of there. read more

I stopped in to take advantage of their brake special and was told it would take one hour and a half to complete the job, I came back an hour and a half later and they had not even looked at my car. I asked for my keys and left. I also learned later that the $99 lifetime brake job special has a lot of hidden costs. They charge for resurfacing the rotors and additional parts so a $99 job will run around $180.00 Now I know why they charge a $30 inspection fee before you agree to the extra costs. I ended up going to another repair shop down the street and they offered lifetime ceramic brakes including all parts, labor & rotor resurfacing for $119.00 and they completed the job on time. read more

Usually this place is very accommodating and efficient but today with this guy Walter - it has been a big disappointment. Dropped our car at 8am for an AC leak repair and all I can get out of him at 11:30am is that he thinks I have a leak. I told him I know that and that's why the car is there. I decided to just pull the car out and go someplace else. Big issue with communication, phone skills and customer service. All I really wanted is a professional to tell me what they can do and what to expect- so I can make necessary arrangements for my day. read more

Thanks for a very quick service for oil change. I can't believe I was able to get the service done in under 30 min. Alex also pointed out some good tips for my car. Very close to the freeway. read more

Walter and crew were great. Had to get new struts, shocks, break pads & rotors as well as transmission flush and oil change. Was in at 8:30am and they worked non-stop until 1pm. They were honest to a fault, even cutting the labor costs about $200 than originally quoted since they put two technicians on the job just to get me out before 2pm. Would highly recommend to anyone. They definitely have a new customer in me. read more

This auto repair is one I trust to make a complete diagnosis, advise of any options, and complete repairs in a timely and thorough manner for a reasonable price. Thanks to Alex, a great mechanic! read more

John was so helpful over the phone. I have a Chevy Cruze and every time I have to double check if they have my filter. He checked and they didn't have it in stock but got it for me before my apt. He was able to squeeze me in before his next apt. They took less than 30 min. I always have trouble with my car after an oil change and so far I haven't I think I found my place! As a female I always get ripped off or they try to offer extra things but not here. read more

Came here to Midas couple days ago. I wanted to get oil change and all four of my breaks done. Twenty minutes after inspecting my breaks, one of the mechanic told me i only had to change the two front. I really appreciate the honesty. I've already recommended several of my family members to come to this place for any repairs. Thank you guys. read more

Great shop to get your car done! These guys know how to make a good deal and they are top of the line mechanics. I always come down to get my oil change, fast and efficient every time. I recommend this Midas to everyone who needs honest mechanics. read more

Dont recommend. All they are trying to do is sell you service you really dont need.$$$ very expensive

I definately reccomend this place. I brought my car in to check out my brakes. The customer service was great and they took me in to explain and show me the car which was pretty neat to learn about. They gave me different options i could work with so that i would be able to fix what i needed to fix the most. Definately a good and honest place. And they gave a free donut and coffee! read more

Great customer service.. Walter is awsome. I noticed no coffee was offered. The worse of it all they didnt except my midas credit card. It was inconvenient. I will not be going to this location anymore.... read more

Even though there are other Midas locations a little closer to where I live, I chose to try this one because of the great reviews it had on Yelp, and I am so glad I made that decision! The customer service here just blew me away. I needed to get my oil changed before traveling for Christmas, and even though there was a scheduling crunch caused by a horde of like-minded people, the employee I spoke with on the phone patiently and determinedly worked with me to find a time to get it done. While I was there, I witnessed the same employee (I wish I remembered his name!) repeat the process with two other customers, and saw all the organization and coordination that went into it behind the scenes--talking to co-workers and calling auto-part companies to make all the pieces fall into place. Throughout my whole experience there, everyone I talked to was friendly, polite, and dedicated to good service. The oil change went faster than I am used to, and they even checked my tire pressure without me having to ask! This location will be my regular stop as long as I'm in the area. read more

I don't know why I keep trying to get an oil change at this place. This was my third time trying and thought I would be smart and schedule an appointment. Even with an appointment they needed me to leave my car because they had a few other cars to get to before mine. I give up on this place. read more

I was having a pretty bad exhaust issue with my car and wasn't really sure where to go, especially as a single girl I'm always afraid of getting taken advantage of when it comes to auto repair. Decided to bring it to this shop. Called at 8am to see if there would be someone available to bring me home so they could have my car for the day. Albert told me to bring it in right away and I could get a ride home. Got there at 8:30 and Alex the mechanic brought me home. A few hours later I received a phone call from Albert letting me know that I had a massive crack in my exhaust manifold but they could weld it shut vs replacing it. This was great news and saved me a lot of money. Alex did a fantastic job and my car no longer sounds and runs loud. Most importantly, exhaust fumes are no longer getting into the cab of my car! I've already told a coworker to go see Albert and Alex at Midas. I recommend there service. Walked away a happy customer who will return :) read more

Great fast service but was displeased with the quote I was given. I had called about a week prior to get a quote on an oil change for my specific car but was charged for double the price because my car used synthetic oil blends. It was Camry so that was unusual. read more

We take our cars here for regular oil changes. When they have recommended other service, it has been verified by other mechanics as well. They give quotes up front, and they don't gauge on prices. Alex has been especially helpful. read more

I tried to take my car in for an oil change because I had a coupon for an oil change plus for 19.99. They said they could not honor it because I asked for 5W20 and my car needed a special oil filter. I have a regular Mitsubishi Lancer 45000 miles + and from all the oil changes I have done prior, I have never had to have a special oil filter. They wanted to charge me 39.99 instead of 19.99 so I left. As a franchise, Midas needs to look into this place because it's giving Midas a bad name. read more

Came to do a oil change and change my breaks. They were fast and professional. Everything worked out great as I expected. They are very polite and respectful. I highly recommend this shop. Thank you Midas for the great work. See you on my next oil change read more

We recently had the brakes on our van replaced and the service was fine. Unfortunately, they put the lug nuts on too tight that when we took it to another place for tire rotation and balancing, they broke the lug nut key and snapped the lug nuts off on two tires. It's going to cost over $700 to have this issue fixed. What was supposed to be an hour event is turning into an all day problem thanks to the incompetence of this shop. Will never take our business here again!!! read more

I called and was able to make an appointment to get new brakes and was able to drop off my car the next morning and get my car back 2 hours before the time they quoted me. The staff was very friendly and honest. I thought I needed all of my brakes replaced and I ended up only needed my front brakes replaced. I still had 60% left on my back brakes. They were amazing - will definitely use them in the future! 5 stars!!! read more

My father and I have multiple work trucks and vehicles. We travel constantly yet never hesitate to bring our vehicles to this Midas location. There have been multiple times they have diagnosed and fixed issues that the dealerships overlooked. Just saved over $1500 on the last job. Very happy and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you Midas! read more

i came yesterday for oil change and tire rotation and notice there were diffferent people..I met one of the guys Art he was the service manager very outgoing guy and very presentable. He told me about and hour with the free courtsey check in which i was happy and offered me coffee in which was really good even for free. After 30 minutes he came back with report and had shown me what i needed...after i told him iam just a college student and he pointed what i need for right now and do other services later... very honest guys espcially their techs in which i was very happy. Art told me how long the job will take and if i needed a ride... great customer service. He told me he was short handed staff but he will get my car done asap and will call me in which he did. i highly recommend this Midas because they go threw their inspection and suggests what services your car needs great job guys..........:) read more

These guys are honest and care about the work they are doing. Albert went above and beyond and gave us excellent customer service. In addition to explaining our brake problem to us, they took us into the garage so we could see for ourselves. They treated us and our vehicle with respect (even though we drive an old Astro van) Our vehicle was well taken care of and in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back! read more

Came in to see what was causing my car to squeak, at 4:15pm on a Monday, without an appointment. Said it would be a 30 min before they could check it out, which I was fine with. Found out it was my brakes (the cheapest of all the problems Google said it might be), and they have a $50 off coupon going on right now. They were able to replace my brakes pads same day and rotated my tires for me. Overall great read more

if you can't get an oil change right... you shouldn't take your car here for anything else. this is not a place that wants wants the community's business. don't go here. went here for an oil change... and got an oil leak. good job midas. you have a top notch place. read more

Went for oil change this past Saturdays and beforehand had requested appt I had to call in because no one called back. Was told if come in early would have no problem coming in, come sat the Asian manager on site said sat are first come first serve and I would of been told that I told him no I was not be wasn't listening when I told him I was there by myself and kept telling me if I was going to leave it he kicked me out when I became angry at the fact that he wasn't listening. So rude and customer service completely went down the drain. I was becoming recurring customer but after that day, they can go to hell!!!! read more

I never write reviews but this place is the worst. I printed up the oil change coupon online and brought it down there. They told me that it could not be done because they did not have any conventional motor oil which is ridiculous. They said the only thing they had was synthetic which did not apply for the coupon. They are extremely rude and are crooks. They tell you that things need to be done that are simply not true. I watched them charge a girl for $500 dollars on things her car did not need (she came in for an oil change, they got her for brakes a motor mount, windshield wipers the list goes on). Go to the Midas in Tustin they are straight up with you no bullshit. IF IT WAS UP TO ME I WOULD FIRE EVERYONE WORKING AT THE MIDAS OFF OF CHAMPMAN AVE. read more

It's a real challenge to find an honest mechanic that has reasonable rates. Well, look no further. Jonny and Walter are friendly front men at the counter. It's usually never that busy, so the wait for oil change, tire rotation was minimal - 45 minutes. Conveniently located right off the 55 fwy and only 15 minutes from my home. In the past, I had an issue that seemed to be a misdiagnosis with an oil leak, but after writing them a letter, they quickly resolved the matter and offered me a full refund credit for the work that was done toward the new repair. Recently, I overheard Jonny tell a customer that the initial diagnosis was not as bad as first thought, and that the charge would be must lower. How many shops do that? Normally, most shops "up sell" the customer, and you always walk out with a larger bill. I know many shops work on "commission" so if the mechanic finds more things to repair they get a bonus. Or, if they don't recommend more repairs, the mechanic and counter guy get reprimanded from management. It doesn't seem to be the case at this Midas. I needed a cabin filter and air filter, and they showed me the parts before asking for my approval. I like that. After searching prices on the internet for the cost, I found that their charge for parts was fair considering they have to get them sent over from their local parts shop and install them. It wasn't worth the difference for me to spend the time to buy them and install myself. The only perk I would like is if they offered free wifi. At least I could plug in during my wait time, but this is not essential for me because their work is good and cost fair. They you guys for earning my business through fair business practices! P.S. Don't forget to go online and print out their coupons!! read more
