I went to Midas with a tailpipe that simply can disconnect from the muffler. I previously called them, telling them exactly what parts were needed and asked for a quote, or at least a ballpark figure. They refused to do any of it until they saw the vehicle. Seems like all of the garages in town do not want to tell you anything until you take your car to them, because once they get you there, you are more likely to have them do the repair. Should I talk to the bald guy with the beard at the counter, the one who is kind of goofy looking, and asked him about the repair. He asked me what year is it? And then began to quote me $2000 for the repair, as if he was price structuring the repair according to the year of the vehicle, which is price fixing and illegal. I had previously been given a price of $800 for a new exhaust system by "Fix It Once" in town, and $1150 by Bell Tire. The price quoted by Bell tire was for a new exhaust system, since they did not do any welding there, which was the same for "fix it once". I had been to Midas once before, and they tried something similar than too. And the same guy did it then as well. They will never have my business again. Turns out, the $2000 car repair could've been done with a couple $10 exhaust pipe clamps and some heat activated sealant. read more

The person I talked to was nice, but honestly take your business elsewhere. I took my tire there to get a hole/flat fixed which was a small slit instead of a nail sized hole. He said they wouldn't do it because their patches wouldn't fit it. He even suggested getting a new tire being my only option when my tire is almost brand new. I took it to belle tire down the road and it took 20 minutes even though they were swamped. read more

I have been taking my Jeep Liberty and my daughter's Jeep Compass these last two months and they are very fair and thorough with the repairs that I asked them to check and they did what needed to be done and told me what not to worry about. Then Midas employees that are now there are all owners they took over 9 months ago and they are going to renew their reputations so everyone should go there with a clean slate. I've had an oil change on both Jeeps I've had work done on both Jeeps and I am very happy with the results. John is excellent at customer service. read more

Car heater was acting up and thought thermostat might be bad. Took it in there and they got it looked at within 30 minutes. No repairs were needed and I ended up owing them absolutely nothing. They are honest and awesome! They could have easily said it needed unnecessary repairs or charged me for their time and they did neither. They are impeccably honest and so kind which is very RARE these days. I will go there from now on and highly recommend them! read more

I would give this place a negative review if I could. Took my car in for an alignment, got it back pulling to the right, called them and asked for a refund, refused my refund but said to bring it back in to be corrected. Took it in 2 days later to be corrected, got my car back pulling even worse to the right. Went back in and was told I would receive a check in the mail because it was not corrected, called back 3 weeks later because still no check, was told by John Schmidt (manager) that I would not be getting a check. He had an attitude and didn't even ask my name, he had no idea who I was or what my issues were, just simply said I would not be getting my money back. They broke my car and won't fix it. Literally did damage rather than repairs and still charged me. Incompetent and all around awful.

Took my classic car there to have them hookup the downpipes from my exhaust manifolds to the current exhaust on the car after I went from headers back to manifolds. Wow they definitely did a hack job on it but it did quiet it down . . . bubble gum welds for sure and instead of using or making a coupler to go over my pipes, they put a smaller pips inside the current ones to restrict the exhaust even more. I would never recommend them to anyone and If I could give less than 1 star I would. read more

I dont know much about cars. I took my car in for brakes and rotors change. They charged me a big price and the brakes were bad when I took the vehicle out from the garage. The guy said no worries they will be fine after a few hours of driving. Well. Drove for two weeks and the issue still there . took car to another midas as they offer lifetime warranty. And got it fixed. It turns out that they used the cheapest brake pads from around the corner. read more

It was 5:30 when I arrived to get my tire repaired. They were able to do it in 30 minutes. Very hospitable with free food and drink. The service was great and he fixed the tire for free. Thanks a lot for making my day. read more

I have taken all my cars to Midas for any work that I've needed and I've always been happy....... until now. I had my car in there to get new brakes ( was informed I needed one rear caliper). Picked up the car at 515 pm, and drove it to work the next morning. However I noticed a terrible smell coming from the car...come to find out my front caliper is now in need of replacement. When I called Midas, I was told that the price was for parts and installation, I asked the guy why would I need to pay for installation when you just had the car yesterday, and you told us what needed to be done. I was pretty much told F.U. Too bad!!!! They do not stand behind their work and their customer service is awful. I will never return. read more

Had my catalyact converter replaced, I asked for my old one back, was told I had to wait 14 days. I came back to get it, and it's gone. I had my catalact converter replaced by this company. I told them I wanted my old one back. They said I had to wait 14 days. They tagged it for customer pick up. I go to pick it up on the 14th day which is may 3rd, 2017, and i was told mine was already picked up for recycling 3 days prior. They said the person who tagged it was fired and out of spite may have taken the tags off. Spoke to manager today, may 3, 2017,John Schmidt,and district manager, mark Atkins, who explained the story above, and said they will give me someone elses part when they do another project, which seems illegal since it's not mine. Other then that they said nothing else can be done. I don't believe they will ever contact me as they are already lying about the date i was supposed to pick it up. I paid them $800 to do a service, which they received the day of service, I wanted my part back and now I'm told at no fault of mine, it's gone. They are stealing my money, as this part can be turned in for scrap money. read more
