I been to various locations throughout Long Island and the five boroughs to manage the maintenance of my car's oil change - as most Jiffy lubes are fast and cost-effective. This is my first time at the Floral Park location and it thus far has exceeded my expectations in comparison to other locations that I have been to like the Hempstead and Valley Stream locations - which in my opinion at the time of services needed more professionalism (loud music, cursing and native patois speaking in boisterous tones) and to do a thorough job as I speculated that my oil wasn't even changed and I was charged (my vehicle is under warranty, dealer maintained and has no service lights on yet my oil was dark and thick AFTER a supposed it oil change when checked). At the Floral Park location I was greeted by the manager Jimmy upon arrival and had the door held for me, which exemplified both customer service and courtesy. In addition to that ; they didn't try to upsell me any unneeded products or services -which was appreciated. Being a woman it is often taken as an opportunity to take advantage with upselling under the guise of scare tactics that your car may break down or have you issues. Overall, this Jiffy Lube location in Floral Park I recommend and will return too going forward

There are plenty of seats in the waiting room (even two smaller chairs for those with children), along with water and bathrooms. Our car was seen and repaired within the hour. Best yet, they didn't take a dime for the service. They removed all the nails, but since none of them had punctured actual holes in the tires, they let us go scot free. It's so rare to receive unpaid services in this day and age, and we definitely grateful for their generous time and diligent attention. Small but hot tip if you're waiting long for your car: there's a Starbucks a short walk away inside the Stop & Shop so you can enjoy a cuppa joe while your car gets serviced.
