My experience started on the phone. He was patient with all my questions and provided pricing on all the services requested. Therefore, just off that, I went straight there. When I arrived, I got taken care of quickly. Ana, was so kind, extremely personable, and provided quality customer service. Let's go Knicks! Will be returning because everyone was great. Great team! Thank you.

They made all these assurance and told me I needed a radiator flush because the antifreeze was dark and sludgy; they informed me my oil was completely empty even though I had recently checked it about a week prior and it was full; they told me I needed an engine flush in addition to radiator flush. they said it would need an air filter and a synthetic oil change (fill-up since if it was empty there was nothing to "change." $316 later they sent me on my way and the engine temp warnings came back. At a mechanic shop a little further up Route 17, I learned the car had most likely blown the head gasket and the oil and antifreeze were mixing and the engine would need major repairs. Valvoline knew the antifreeze was dark and sludgy and there was no oil. They sold me all these services when they should have advised me to have a mechanic look at it. They sold me services on a car that ended up being junked 2 days later. I understand the car had 130,000 miles and these things happen with respect to the mechanical problem. But I asked for a refund of the useless services I was conned into because Valvoline had enough evidence and experience with fluids to know I needed to be sent to a mechanic. But instead they sold me on all these services they knew were not going to fix a serious engine problem. The manager said he would consider my request if I would meet a regional manager's rep at my house where the car had been towed. I met a rep of the Poughkeepsie Valvoline who took pics and told me he didn't know what happened in Lodi but he would not have done radiator flush, engine flush, air filter change and synthetic oil fill up. He said he could clearly see there was a significant leak. Area manager then did nothing and allowed the store manager's decision (to not refund me the $316) to stand. I am waiting to hear back and will be escalating from the area manager to the Market Manager next week if I do not get a resolution in 2 business days as per their 1-800 customer care line. Not feeling like a "cared" about customer. Feeling like a Patsy they saw coming and cheated out of $316 for services the car would not need.

There is something extremely shady happening here with the service department and I am not happy…read more Just within 6 months alone, I had to bring my car here for multiple reasons. Here are the three shady things that have happened within 6 months that tells me I should no longer come here. Around summetime, I brought my car in for repair. Two days later, I realized my car back passenger's door would not automatically unlock. Brought it in to be fixed, however it was going to cost me $500+. I said forget it, I just rather have it broken (basically manually locking and unlocking). Around early September, I brought my car in for 4 new tires. When I picked up my car and driving home, I noticed the gear stick was wobbling. When I arrived home, I examined it. To my shock, the whole gear stick CAME OFF. Literally in my hands. I immediately called Nissan and informed them, letting them know this was not a problem when I brought the car in. They told me I can bring it in again. So now I had to leave early work the next day again for them to a fix a problem they SOMEHOW caused! How did the gear stick break if I was only there to get new tires?!?! A few weeks after I got my new tires, I somehow hit a curb while turning. Not sure how that happened since I take the same route home 5 days a week. But ok. So I took it in for repair. If it wasn't for my co-worker telling me my tires should be under warranty, I would have overpaid. Because the sale associate included the tire cost in my total! Then recently I had a nail in my back passenger's side tire. I had to get my car towed to the dealership. They fixed the tire. As soon I got home, GUESS WHAT! Now my driver's side back door is not automatically locking! THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN FOR THE TIRE REPAIR!!! LIKE WTF!!! I contacted the dealership and informed them that this was not an issue when I brought the car in. So I brought it in for repair two days later, they are not claiming they did anything wrong for that issue to arise. I was quoted $1,200+ to fixed both locks because I would need whole new doors. That is when I said I am done with this place. Literally husband and my co-worker are telling me "why does it seem like there is always a new issue every time go to this dealership?" Mind you, when the gear stick broke, I showed it this co-worker the next day. So she is well aware of the multiple car issues I have been having every time I come here. Reading through the reviews on google, I see Josh Hart reviewed a similar problem a few years ago, about dropping off his car for repair and picking it up with a new problem (see screenshots of his review). I truly think something shady is happening. Mind you, I bought the car from them as certified used. So this not some old car that should have so many issues. As a customer, you probably wouldn't notice right away something else broke after receiving service here until a few days later. You start thinking it's normal car issues. Josh Hart has the right idea. We need to start taking this place to small court. Cause there is no way this is coincidence!
