Spent thousands of dollars here. Issue after issue after issue within months that they claimed they fixed yet didn't and kept making the situation worse to the point 2 cars were not drivable. I trusted them which is why i kept returning yet every-time i returned for the issue they would say its something else and it would be so expensive to fix. The worst thing you can ever do is go to this place because they will smile in your face while the lie not knowing what the issue even is or can fix it. Just little boy playing with cars because nothing ever got better. I write this review to say stay away they have no idea how a car works! last time the even left a wrench in my car. From Chris L. Never wanted to write a bad review, but this took place and made me very upset because we are still paying for something that was never fixed and is still going on. The issue was never fixed. We brought our car in for a diagnostic check of a check engine light and intermittent A/C working and not working. After diagnosing, they said they could fit it. They charged us a diagnostic fee and said that it would go into the repair cost if they did the work. They told us that it would cost around $3,000.00 to fix. They even gave us credit to pay for the repair. "They said they could fix it." They did the work and it was good for a couple of weeks. But then again check light came back on and A/C stopped working and still not working. Very upsetting because we are still paying the credit for the work that did not fix the problem. Now the car will not pass inspection. I am very upset with this company. read more

I made an appointment to have my oil changed and was on time. After two and one-half hours they had not even started the service. I complained and the car was finished after three hours of waiting. The people were nice and apologetic, but this shows a ridiculous amount of disorganization. Not good. read more

After an awful experience at Pep Boys in Hainesport and my regular auto maintenance place telling me that they needed to keep my car for a full day in order to do an oil change I decided to go on Groupon and find an alternative. I got a great deal for $39 for a synthetic oil change. I immediately called and got a 9 o'clock appointment for the next day. When I arrived there were two gentlemen in the receiving area and immediately greeted me and checked me in. My car was immediately taken in and put on a lift. There's a decent waiting area with two TVs and access to a bathroom and coffee. My car was done in 30 minutes and I could actually see them working on it from the seating area which gave me comfort. They made me aware of two items that needed care but I didn't have the time to do it at the moment. I showed him my Groupon and he accepted it with no questions or issues and I just had to pay a nominal amount for tax and service fee. Do NOT take your car to MIDAS in Lumberton, NJ. Frankie, from Triple A, took my flat tire off my car and I took my tire to Midas to have the nail hole plugged. The store manager, Norm Berard, brought my tire to me with a huge hole in it saying that it was in the trunk that way. Frankie, from Triple A, texted a statement vehemently denying Norm's accusations. I spoke with Regional Manager Don Garbacki who refuses to even listen, accept Frankie's statement or view the picture. I filed with the BBB, Attorney General's office, disputed the transaction and filed another formal complaint with Midas Corporate office. This is a complete nightmare during my father's funeral. I am out a total of 297.00 due to this fraud. read more

Absolutely horrible experience recently. They had my car for a week and a half. Ordered the wrong part twice. A third time they ordered a part and it mysteriously never came. They finally miraculously find a part to fix it when i show up there within two hours have it "fixed" just for it to pour out coolant the next day and almost catch on fire. Took my car in for some hefty repairs ultimately to pass inspection... couple days later i did pass inspection, however, the days that followed my car just sounded worse and worse. If I could leave zero stars I definitely would. This place is scamming people out of money. I bought a Groupon for a synthetic oil change and they are telling me that my car uses a different type of synthetic oil and is up charging the Groupon. People buy Groupon to get a value but if they are up charging on them it is not a value at all. They should honor the Groupon or stop offering Groupons because this is a scam. read more

I brought in my grandfathers 95 Ram 1500 to have an exhaust put on, and to diagnose a check engine light. Prior to my arrival I put in the notes that an OBD1 code reader would be needed and I ended up getting charged $150.00 so they could do the "turn the key" diagnostic because they failed to inform me that they didn't have the right scanner for a proper diagnostic. Exhaust install: at the 3 hour mark it became evident that the technician working on the exhaust was out of his element. The word "struggling" would be an understatement. I saw the exhaust fall out of the bottom of the truck after it had all been "welded and clamped". It was at that moment I knew I came to the wrong place. 48 hours later, while driving down the road, it fell apart again. At this point I am just wondering how long it's gonna be till the rest of the exhaust falls out. I had brought the truck here thinking they would be able to handle the job. 2014 Toyota Venza , got my front wheel bearing replaced at this repair shop, they did an excellent job this is a very difficult job, to do, and I was worried that they might not be able to press the bearing exactly straight but they did a great job the car is smooth and very quiet now . Their prices are very reasonable, I recommend this place and I will definitely go back there again. read more

Ok let's start off by saying I made an appt arrival time @ 10 am it is 12:39 pm and they still have my car in the bay! I brought a Groupon for replacement front brake pads. I just saw the guy that is working on my car with one of my rear tires off with my rear drum on the ground spraying something on it! I questioned him to why do he have my rear wheel off if I just came in here for the replacement of my front brake pads . The explanation he gave me was he was told to check the rear drums!!!! Why is this!! These people are doing whatever they want to do with your vehicle and that's wrong. Also someone from this location was going through my personal paperwork inside my vehicle. If I find anything that's missing from my car I am suing. read more

1st time customer. Great experience! I went in on a Saturday afternoon and was told they already were fully booked but that they could try to squeeze me in within the next few hrs. I decided to wait it out in my car. About 30 min later, Jesse (the tech) came out to me and said he was ready to work on my car. AWESOME!!! He was great. I even stood and watched as he mounted a new tire on my car. I just recently purchased the car and saw that he was really gentle with it. He carefully removed the tire, checked the condition of all the other tires and mounted the new one on there. No messing around just straight to business. Very polite and professional. the wait was not because of covid. the repair time was 45-60 minutes. no problem at all I have 60-90 before being told it would be a while longer because the equipment they had was not working on my car. the make model and type of repair was scheduled earlier that week. total time to repair just two brake pads was over 3.25 hours. after witnessing "youtube searched" fixes for my vehicle and whatever they could not get right I asked to leave. I was late for work. I was also invoiced $248 when told the two brakes were $180 about parts & labor. I wrote and called corporate with still no reply after two months. I highly recommend going to a dealership of your vehicles manufacture. this allows not only better service but a guarantee and someone to talk to if something is wrong. .5 stars if I could read more

I took my suv Infiniti JX35 to them because it was making a weird noise when I turned on my heat or ac. They told me it was the radiator fan so I had them replace it. It was $1150 and I told them to replace it because i needed to be fixed before I went out of town. 2 days later my AC stopped working. Never had an issue with the AC in the 4yrs I've had this car until now. I called them and told them. I took my car back and they said they could not find an issue and said the Freon was low for some reason. The AC worked for 2 more days just like before. However, this time I was over 600 miles out of town and it was a 93 degree day. I went out of town to burry my farther. So I have 2 toddlers I was not about to have them traveling in an extremely hot car for over 8 hours. I had to take my car to get serviced in the current city I was in. Within 20 mins they were able to find the issue. They put a UV liquid and they found a leak. They advised that when my radiator fan was replaced and they reconnected the AC line they made an error. So I had to pay an additional $150 to have this fixed. The other shop gave me a discount on their services because they were also a Midas and didn't want the company to have a bad name. This Midas was in Ohio but they fixed the problem quick and was very efficient. They ran the UV light again to ensure there was no other leaks. I just don't understand why this Midas could not do the same. I told them the same thing I told the shop in Ohio. I had my radiator fan replaced and now the AC does not work. I am extremely upset that I was charged almost $300 for labor to have to go get my car re-fixed for an issue I didn't cause. When I called them they said they don't know what they could do since I now took it to another shop. Well, I had no choice as I was out of town when it broke AGAIN after already bringing this issue to them once before. I am still very upset as I didn't not need this additional stress on top of burring my father. Very disappointed! Mistakes happen I get it. But when I bring the mistake to you I expect it to be fixed and not just brushed off. read more

This place has been the only place I haven't felt completely taken advantage by. This is a business so they can't work for free, but it's clear they care more about keeping you safe than they do making a huge profit. I had gone to another place bc I was having problems w one spark plug & they quoted me $750 (I'm not joking) after talking w the employee at Midas, he said I could get all of them done for a fraction of the price. I went into Midas thinking I needed new breaks, they told me it was actually my struts that were shot. They could have easily told me I needed new breaks & struts, they looked at my car free of charge, I appreciated their integrity. They quoted me for $550 for the struts. I called around bc having trust issues & the concern of being taken advantage of & other places quoted for at least $1,000. I would undoubtedly come here for all my car issues. As a person who knows nothing about cars I don't feel dumb when here bc it's clear they just want to do their job & they want you to feel comfortable in knowing what's happening to YOUR car, which is something I really appreciated. Had an emergency and needed two tires mounted and balanced for a trip I was taking. Under 40$ to do both. Todd the store manager was awesome and more than accommodating got me in right away CJ the technician was great did a great job fast and efficient.
