If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced auto repair shop near Gold River or Rancho Cordova, I'd definitely recommend them. They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

Botched brake repair jeopardized the life of me and my son. When confronted about the negligent…read morework, the owner, Peter became defensive and belligerent. I am sending him a demand letter (see pictures) today and am prepared to follow up with a complaint to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and file suit. Other work was ok, but not problem free. I see that the owner responded to my review. My friend did indeed work on my brakes. He replaced the rotors and the brake pads. He didn't touch the hydraulics. Sunrise Auto did the work on the hydraulic lines for the left front wheel brakes. The failure of my brake system occurred because the brake line work was not properly done. Sunrise Auto placed the flexible brake line where it would rub on the inside wheel well, ultimately causing a break in the line and a failure of hydraulic pressure. As I said, this botched repair job put my son at risk of serious bodily injury or death from traveling in a vehicle with no brakes. Here's my personal message to you, Peter. You evidently ignored my demand letter because I didn't receive payment. The next step is the Bureau of Automotive Repair. And after that I will pursue other legal remedies. I hope the readers of my review and your response will take heed and will take their business to another mechanic who performs reputable work.

Kudos to the fantastic staff for making this such a seamless, stress-free experience. I'll definitely be back!

If I was everyone go to there fair oaks location where they know what there doing and have respect for there customers and everything my husband and I are so mad they did everything did did. If i could I would give them Zero stars and if the manager was smart he would think about how he treats his customers when they say they don't want someone working on there car let alone that person shouldn't be a loud to touch any car at all! Some big stuff needs to happen at this location because of everything and with the staff! The value of service and everything is a joke and not worth going here at all!!

I pulled over, let the engine cool down, and returned to Jiffy Lube. I was told the oil had been overfilled and that brake cleaner had been sprayed on the engine to clean up oil that had spilled during the service. They let the truck idle for about 10 minutes, and the smoke eventually stopped. I then took my truck to the dealer that same day to have it inspected and have it done correctly.
